Significantly enhanced superconductivity in monolayer FeSe films on SrTiO3（001） via metallic δ-doping

Superconductivity transition temperature（Tc） marks the inception of a macroscopic quantum phase-coherent paired state in fermionic systems. For 2D superconductivity, the paired electrons condense into a coherent superfluid state at Tc, which is usually lower than the pairing temperature, between which intrinsic physics including Berezinskii–Kosterlitz–Thouless transition and pseudogap state are hotly debated. In the case of monolayer FeSe superconducting films on SrTiO3（001）, although the pairing temperature（Tp） is revealed to be 65–83 K by using spectroscopy characterization, the measured zero-resistance temperature（Tc0） is limited to 20 K. Here, we report significantly enhanced superconductivity in monolayer FeSe films by δ-doping of Eu or Al on SrTiO3（001） surface, in which Tc0is enhanced by 12 K with a narrowed transition width ΔTc～8 K, compared with non-doped samples. Using scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy measurements, we demonstrate lowered work function of the δ-doped SrTiO3（001） surface and enlarged superconducting gaps in the monolayer FeSe with improved morphology/electronic homogeneity. Our work provides a practical route to enhance 2D superconductivity by using interface engineering.

Layered rare-earth hydroxides(LREHs) draw wide research interest because of their peculiar crystal structure,rich interlayer chemistry and abundant functionality of the RE element,but are limited to the two categories of RE_(2)(OH)_(5)A·nH_(2)O(A:typical of Cl^(-)or NO_(3)^(-)) and RE_(2)(OH)_(4)SO_(4)·nH_(2)*** the other hand,rare-earth oxysulfates(RE_(2)O_(2)SO_(4)) have attracted attention due to their properties of large-capacity oxygen storage,low-temperature magnetism and luminescence,but their preparation procedure mostly involves toxic SO_(x) gases and/or complicated *** this work,RE_(2)(OH)_(2)CO_(3)SO_(4)·nH_(2)O as a new family of LREHs(RE=Gd-Lu lanthanides and Y) were produced via hydrothermal reaction,from which phase-pure RE_(2)O_(2)SO_(4) was derived via subsequent annealing at 800℃ in air without the involvement of SO_(x),The compounds were thoroughly characterized to reveal the intrinsic influence of lanthanide contraction(RE^(3+) radius) on crystal structure,thermal behavior(dehydroxylation/decarbonation/desulfurization),vibrational property and crystallite *** analyzing the photoluminescence of Eu^(3+) and Sm^(3+)in the Gd_(2)O_(2)SO_(4) typical host it is found that the 617 nm(Eu^(3+),λ_(ex)=275 nm) and 608 nm(Sm^(3+),λ_(ex)=407 nm) main emissions can retain as high as ^(7)9.6% and 85.5%of their room-temperature intensities at 423 K,with activation energies of ~0.19 and 0.21 eV for thermal quenching,*** also indicates that both the phosphors have the potential for optical temperature sensing via the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR) technology,whose maximum relative sensitivity reaches ^(2).70%/K for Eu^(3+)and 1.73%/K for Sm^(3+) at 298 K.

The perception of fish locomotion is important for understanding their adaptive behaviors and ethological ***,the main strategy used for extracting fish attitudes involves the use of a vision-based monitoring system,which is limited in its range of observation and cannot perform tracking for long ***,we report the use of a wearable tagging electronic device,referred to as an underwater vest,to capture the surrounding flow field disturbances triggered by swimming or momentary postural *** of these goals were achieved by integrating a pair of pseudocapacitive pressure-sensing units and a flexible circuit ***,additional conditions,such as variable hydraulic pressures and minimal changes in fish posture,require high stability and sensitivity of the sensing ***,hybrid hydrogel electrodes were developed through cross-linking MXene with holey-reduced graphene oxide nanosheets and further modification with 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide ionic liquids,which increased the interfacial capacitance and long-term interfacial activity of the ***,the sensing unit exhibited ultrahigh sensitivity(S_(max)~136,207 kPa^(−1))in an aquatic environment for 60 days and superior high-pressure resolution(10 Pa)within a wide working range of 1 ***,an underwater vest integrated with such sensing units clearly distinguished and recorded fish *** believe that the designed device may open avenues in flow field monitoring and ocean current detection and provide new insights into the development of sensitive underwater tagging.

Applying iodine fertilizers to cultivate iodine-rich crops for daily intake is an effective approach for iodine supplementation,especially for aromatic *** experiments were conducted during the early growing seasons of 2021 and 2022 to evaluate the impacts of foliar application of iodine fertilizer on aromatic rice and to explore the optimal iodine fertilizer *** the full heading stage,six different concentrations of sodium iodide solutions of 0%(CK),0.010%(T1),0.025%(T2),0.050%(T3),0.075%(T4),and 0.100%(T5)were applied to indica aromatic rice cultivars Meixiangzhan 2 and *** results showed that sodium iodide treatments significantly increased the iodine and sodium contents in both leaves and *** with the CK,the T1 and T2 treatments increased the 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline(2-AP)content in mature grains by 8.41%-101.66%and 13.58%-74.60%,*** in the contents of 1-pyrroline-5-carboxylic acid,proline,1-pyrroline,and methylglyoxal,as well as the activity of proline dehydrogenase were also ***,sodium iodide treatments remarkably decreased the chalky grain rate,chalkiness area,and chalkiness degree of aromatic rice,with the T2 treatment exhibiting a 17.79%-47.42%decrease in chalkiness degree compared with the ***,T1 and T2 treatments showed beneficial impacts on chlorophyll content,photosynthetic characteristics,and yield components,while T3,T4,and T5 treatments exhibited adverse effects on leaf and grain *** linear discriminant analysis revealed significant differences between *** correlation analysis and piecewise structural equation modeling showed that the iodine and sodium influenced the photosynthetic characteristics and chlorophyll content of the leaves,thereby regulating the 2-AP biosynthesis and yield components,ultimately affecting the 2-AP content and ***,this study suggests that foliar application of 0.025%sodium iodide is an effective method t

Molecules with multiple stereocenters are widely present in biologically active natural products and pharmaceuticals. These molecules exhibit great three-dimensional structural diversity, which can affect the strength and selectivity of protein-ligand interactions^([1]). Therefore, the precise synthesis of each stereoisomer is very important in medicinal chemistry. In the past 40 years, asymmetric catalysis has developed rapidly, and a variety of methods has been developed to construct chiral compounds containing single or adjacent stereocenters^([2]).

Intermediate annealing treatment produces different effects on the state of particles in Al-Mg-Si alloy sheets,thereby affecting their recrystallization textures and *** improve the formability of the sheets,the effects of different intermediate annealing temperatures on the texture evolution and mechanical properties of these sheets for automotive applications were studied using optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and tensile *** results reveal that intermediate annealing temperature has a significant influence on the recrystallization textures and average plastic strain ratio(r).After solution treatment,all the alloy sheets possess similar recrystallization texture components comprising of cubeND {100} and P {011} orientations,whereas a characteristic strong cube-oriented {100} texture is observed only in the alloy annealed at a temperature of 380℃.However,in comparison with the alloy not annealed,and the alloy annealed at 550℃,the alloy annealed at 380℃ possesses a lower average r ***,the relationship between textures and r value was analyzed by using the Taylor full constraints model in this study.
