Thermo-poro-mechanical responses along sliding zone/surface have been extensively ***,it has not been recognized that the potential contribution of other crucial engineering geological interfaces beyond the slip surface to progressive ***,we aim to investigate the subsurface multiphysics of reservoir landslides under two extreme hydrologic conditions(*** and dry),particularly within sliding *** on ultra-weak fiber Bragg grating(UWFBG)technology,we employ specialpurpose fiber optic sensing cables that can be implanted into boreholes as“nerves of the Earth”to collect data on soil temperature,water content,pore water pressure,and *** Xinpu landslide in the middle reach of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area in China was selected as a case study to establish a paradigm for in situ thermo-hydro-poro-mechanical *** UWFBG-based sensing cables were vertically buried in a 31 m-deep borehole at the foot of the landslide,with a resolution of 1 m except for the pressure *** reported field measurements covering the period 2021 and 2022 and produced the spatiotemporal profiles throughout the *** show that wet years are more likely to motivate landslide motions than dry *** annual thermally active layer of the landslide has a critical depth of roughly 9 m and might move downward in warmer *** dynamic groundwater table is located at depths of 9e15 m,where the peaked strain undergoes a periodical response of leap and withdrawal to annual hydrometeorological *** interface behaviors may support the interpretation of the contribution of reservoir regulation to slope stability,allowing us to correlate them to local damage events and potential global *** paper also offers a natural framework for interpreting thermo-hydro-poro-mechanical signatures from creeping reservoir bank slopes,which may form the basis for a landslide monitoring and early warning system.

This study reports the isolation of four newβ-carboline alkaloids(1−4)and six previously identified alkaloids(5−10)from the roots of Peganum harmala *** these compounds,1 and 2 were characterized as rareβ-carboline-quinazoline dimers exhibiting axial *** 3 possessed a unique 6/5/6/7 tetracyclic ring system with an azepine ring,and compound 4 was a novel annomontineβ-*** structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic data and quantum mechanical *** biosynthetic pathways of 1−3 were ***,the cytotoxicity of some isolates against four cancer cell lines(HL-60,A549,MDA-MB-231,and DU145)was ***,compound 4 exhibited significant cytotoxicity against HL-60,A549,and DU145 cells with IC_(50) values of 12.39,12.80,and 30.65μmol·L^(−1),***,compound 2 demonstrated selective cytotoxicity against HL-60 cells with an IC_(50) value of 17.32μmol·L^(−1).

Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of Stable NH Imines for the Synthesis of Enantiopure α-Chiral Primary Amines

Although it offers a direct route to access synthetically valuableα-chiral primary amines,asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of NH imines has been rarely studied,due in large part to the inaccessibility and instability of NH ***,we report a Rh-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of a kind of novel and stable NH imines which are prepared via condensation of easily available sulfonylated 2'-aminoacetophenones with NH3 in *** this method,enantioenriched chiral 2-(1-aminoalkyl)anilines,which are privileged pharmacore groups,have been synthesized with good functional group compatibility,and with up to 99%ee.A gram-scale reaction using 0.2 mol%of catalyst has been successfully performed to highlight the ***,the products can be derivatized into enantiopure bioactive molecules as well as chiral tridentate ligands for metal catalysis.

Effective dynamics for a spin-1/2 particle constrained to a curved layer with inhomogeneous thickness

We derive an effective Hamiltonian for a spin-1/2 particle confined within a curved thin layer with non-uniform thickness using the confining potential *** analysis reveals the presence of a pseudo-magnetic field and effective spin–orbit interaction(SOI)arising from the curvature,as well as an effective scalar potential resulting from variations in ***,we demonstrate that the physical effect of additional SOI from thickness fluctuations vanishes in low-dimensional systems,thus guaranteeing the robustness of spin interference measurements to thickness ***,we establish the applicability of the effective Hamiltonian in both symmetric and asymmetric confinement scenarios,which is crucial for its utilization in one-side etching systems.

Role of bonding filling on HER/OER/ORR multifunctional catalytic activity in transition-metals-doped PdPX(X=S,Se,Te)

The development of stable and highly efficien multifunctional electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction （HER）,oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） and oxygen evolution reaction （OER） are essential for the efficient conversion and storage of renewable *** significant advantages of single-atom catalysts,such as strong metal slab interactions,unsaturated coordination and efficient atomic utilization,have opened new avenues for designing multifunctional ***,based on density functional theory,a single atom doped PdPX system was designed as a multifunctional electrocatalyst,which demonstrated the synergistic effect between defects and transition metal atoms and led to enhanced catalytic *** results showed that PdPS/PdPSe with P/X vacancy,PdPTe with P/Pd vacancy and Co/Rh/Ir@PdPX exhibited promising HER ***@PdPS（Se）,with an overpotential of 0.56（0.44） V,was predicted to be a promising OER ***,Rh（Ir）@PdPS（Se）catalysts exhibited efficient catalytic properties for ORR Besides,Co@PdPS（Se）,Rh（Ir）@PdPSV（S）,Co@PdP-SeV（Se）and Ir@PdPSV（S）-1exihibited multifunctional catalytic performance with moderate ***,the origin of catalytic activity was revealed by using the crystal orbital Hamilton populations *** a strong adsorption system,proper filling of the anti-bonding state can increase the energy of the system,weaken the adsorption strength,and facilitate the desorption of intermediates Conversely,augmenting bonding states can enhance its adsorption *** findings provide theoretica guidance for the design and fabrication of novel multifunctional electrocatalysts in terms of filling of bondingstate.

Carbon dots-derived three-dimensional-ordered macroporous host with high penetrability and catalytic activity for LSBs under lean electrolyte

The practical energy density of lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)is seriously limited by the high electrolyte-to-sulfur ratios(E/S).The E/S can be reduced by employing hosts with easy-to-infiltrate structure that ensures the uniform distribution of a lean electrolyte and high catalytic activity that can suppress"shuttle effect"via accelerating the slow conversion of soluble poly sulfides to insoluble *** the easy-to-infiltrate structures,the three-dimensional-ordered macroporous(3DOM)structure is easier to scale preparation and more suitable for the existing industrial ***,it is difficult to obtain the 3DOM with(1)high penetrability due to the high viscosity of frequently-used organic polymer precursors and(2)high catalytic activity due to the low confinement effect,meaning that uniformly dispersed small-sized catalytic materials are difficult to load on ***,using carbon dots(CDs)with both organic and inorganic properties as a precursor and aggregation limiting agent,a 3DOM host with high penetrability and homodispersed Ni particles of small sizes(Ni-CDs-3DOM)was *** this host:(1)CDs precursor with suitable viscosity can improve the penetrability.(2)CDs can effectively inhibit the agglomeration of Ni particles.(3)Uniformly dispersed small-size Ni particles offer high-efficiency catalytic activity toward sulfur ***,the Ni-CDs-3DOM/sulfur cathode exhibits high sulfur utilization and stable cycling performance even under high sulfur loading(5.5 mg·cm^(-2))and low E/S(6.5μl·mg^(-1)).This work indicates the usefulness of CDs in constructing hosts for LSBs with high energy density.

Brazilin Actuates Ferroptosis in Breast Cancer Cells via p53/SLC7A11/GPX4 Signaling Pathway

Objective:To investigate the mechanism of induction of ferroptosis by brazilin in breast cancer ***:Breast cancer 4T1 cells were divided into 6 groups:control,brazilin 1/2 half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50),IC50,2×IC50,erastin（10 μg/mL） and capecitabine（10 μg/mL） *** effect of brazilin on the proliferation of 4T1 cells was detected by cell counting kit-8 assay,and the treatment dose of brazilin was *** effect of brazilin on the mitochondrial morphology of 4T1 cells,and the mitochondrial damage was evaluated under electron *** levels of Fe2+,reactive oxygen species（ROS）,malondialdehyde（MDA）,glutathione（GSH） and glutathione peroxidase 4（GPX4） were estimated using various detection *** invasion and migration abilities of 4T1 cells were detected by scratch assay and transwell *** expressions levels of tumor protein p53, solute carrier family 7 member 11（SLC7A11）,GPX4 and acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4（ACSL4） proteins were quantified by Western blot ***:Compared to the control group,the 10(1/2 IC50),20(IC50) and 40(2×IC50) μg/mL brazilin,erastin,and capecitabine groups showed a significant decrease in the cell survival rate,invasion and migration abilities,GSH,SLC7A11 and GPX4 protein expression levels,and mitochondrial volume and ridge（P<0.05）,and a significant increase in the mitochondria membrane density,Fe2+,ROS and MDA levels,and p53 and ACSL4protein expression levels（P<0.05）.Conclusions:Brazilin actuated ferroptosis in breast cancer cells,and the underlying mechanism is mainly associated with the p53/SLC7A11/GPX4 signaling pathway.

AIM:To investigate the biomechanical properties and practical application of absorbable materials in orbital fracture ***:The three-dimensional(3D)model of orbital blowout fractures was reconstructed using Mimics21.0 *** repair guide plate model for inferior orbital wall fracture was designed using 3-matic13.0 and Geomagic wrap 21.0 *** finite element model of orbital blowout fracture and absorbable repair plate was established using 3-matic13.0 and ANSYS Workbench 21.0 *** mechanical response of absorbable plates,with thicknesses of 0.6 and 1.2 mm,was modeled after their placement in the *** patients with inferior orbital wall fractures volunteered to receive single-layer and double-layer absorbable plates combined with 3D printing technology to facilitate surgical treatment of orbital wall ***:The finite element models of orbital blowout fracture and absorbable plate were successfully *** element analysis(FEA)showed that when the Young’s modulus of the absorbable plate decreases to 3.15 MPa,the repair material with a thickness of 0.6 mm was influenced by the gravitational forces of the orbital contents,resulting in a maximum total deformation of approximately 3.3 ***,when the absorbable plate was 1.2 mm thick,the overall maximum total deformation was around 0.4 *** half-year follow-up results of the clinical cases confirmed that the absorbable plate with a thickness of 1.2 mm had smaller maximum total deformation and better clinical ***:The biomechanical analysis observations in this study are largely consistent with the clinical *** use of double-layer absorbable plates in conjunction with 3D printing technology is recommended to support surgical treatment of infraorbital wall blowout fractures.

Global Weak Solutions to a Fluid-particle System of an Incompressible Non-Newtonian Fluid and the Vlasov Equation

The purpose of this work is to investigate the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the initial-boundary value problem for a coupled system of an incompressible non-Newtonian fluid and the Vlasov *** coupling arises from the acceleration in the Vlasov equation and the drag force in the incompressible viscous non-Newtonian fluid with the stress tensor of a power-law structure for p≥11/*** main idea of the existence analysis is to reformulate the coupled system by means of a so-called truncation *** advantage of the new formulation is to control the external force term G=-∫Rd(u-v)fdc(d=2,3).The global existence of weak solutions to the reformulated system is shown by using the Faedo-Galerkin method and weak compactness *** further prove the uniqueness of weak solutions to the considered system.
