Activated pancreatic stellate cells(PSCs)have been widely accepted as a key precursor of excessive pancreatic fibrosis,which is a crucial hallm.rk of chronic pancreatitis(CP)and its form.dable associated disease,pancreatic cancer(PC).Hence,anti-fibrotic therapy has been identified as a novel therapeutic strategy for treating CP and PC by targeting *** of the anti-fibrotic agents have been lim.ted to phaseⅠ/Ⅱclinical trials involving vitam.n analogs,which are abundant in m.dicinal plants and have proved to be prom.sing for clinical *** use of phytom.dicines,as new anti-fibrotic agents,has been applied to a variety of com.lem.ntary and alternative *** aim.of this review was to present a focused update on the selective new potential anti-fibrotic agents,including curcum.n,resveratrol,rhein,em.din,green tea catechin derivatives,m.tform.n,eruberin A,and ellagic acid,in com.ating PSC in CP and PC *** aim.d to describe the m.chanism.s)of the phytochem.cals used,either alone or in com.ination,and the associated m.lecular *** of them.were tested in PC m.dels with sim.lar m.chanism.of actions,and curcum.n was tested *** research m.y explore the issues of bioavailability,drug design,and nano-form.lation,in order to achieve successful clinical outcom.s with prom.sing activity and tolerability.

A new heterogeneous catalyst com.osed of Pd nanoparticles im.obilized within a HypoG el resin has been prepared in the absence of any ligands using an extensive cross-linking *** newly developed nanocatalyst was characterized by N_2 adsorption-desorption,X-ray diffraction(XRD),transm.ssion electron m.croscopy(TEm.,scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.,energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy and inductively coupled plasm.-m.ss spectrom.ter(ICP-m.)*** and XRD results revealed that the Pd nanoparticles were well dispersed with diam.ters in the range of 4–12 nm.and an average size of about 8 *** cross-linked Pd catalyst dem.nstrated excellent catalytic activity towards the synthesis of a series of biaryl com.ounds by the reaction of various aryl halides(e.g.,brom.des andiodides)with phenylboronic acid in the presence of tetrabutylam.onium.***-m. analysis indicated that there was only 0.25%weight loss of Pd(0.55±0.02 ppm.from.the supported catalyst after the first cycle ***,the catalyst showed excellent reusability(up to five uses)with consistently high levels of catalytic activity following its recovery by filtration.

Fish species com.osition and spatio-tem.oral variability of the com.unity were studied in a tropical seagrass m.adow located in a lagoon in the eastern part of North Sulawesi. The diversity of fish com.unity in the seagrass m.adows was relatively high, with the Shannon-Wiener index ranging from.1.57 to 3.69. The fam.ly Apogonidae was the m.st dom.nant in abundance(8.27 ind./(100 m.)) and biom.ss(28.49 g/(100 m.)). At the species level,Apogon lateralis and Sphaeram.a orbicularis were the m.st dom.nant species in abundance and biom.ss,respectively. For spatial distribution on species, the end, m.ddle and m.uth of the lagoon clustered together as a whole, which m.y be due to the substrate types found in those zones. The fish species, fish abundance and fish biom.ss were greater in the dry and wet seasons than in the transition season, which is explained by the strong m.nsoon, which provides a m.re suitable environm.nt and food for the fish. The m.xim.m.length of 93.10% of the captured species was less than their length at m.turity, indicating that seagrass m.adows are nursery habitats for m.ny fishes. Therefore, protection of the seagrass m.adows is essential for fisheries and sustainable resource utilization.

Water contam.nation by non-steroidal anti-inflam.atory drugs,such as acetam.nophen,is an em.rging ecological *** this study,a newthree-dim.nsionalm.nganese dioxideengrafted reduced graphene oxide(3D m.O_(2)/rGO)hybrid aerogel was developed for acetam.nophen *** synthesis involved firstly the self-assem.ly of GO aerogel,followed by therm.l reduction and in-situ m.O_(2) growth by *** aerogel dem.nstrated interlinked planes with sm.oth surfaces deposited with m.O_(2) nanospheres and pores of 138.4–235.3μm.*** influences of adsorbent dosage,initial pH,acetam.nophen concentration,tem.erature and contact tim. were *** was determ.ned that the adsorption of acetam.nophen occurred on uniform.sorption sites in the aerogel,as suggested by the best fit of data to the Langm.ir isotherm.yielding a m.xim.m.adsorption capacity of 252.87 m./*** highest adsorption perform.nce of the 3D m.O_(2)/rGO aerogel was attained at a dosage of 0.6 g/L,initial pH of 6.2 and tem.erature of 40℃.The process kinetics were in-line with the pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetics at 10 and 20–500 m./L concentrations,*** assay showed the spontaneity and endotherm.city features of the 3D m.O_(2)/rGO-acetam.nophen *** acetam.nophen adsorption m.chanism. were m.inly hydrogen bonding and pore ***,the as-synthesised aerogel was effectively regenerated using acetone and re-utilised in four adsorption-desorption ***,the results highly recom.end the im.lem.ntation of the 3D m.O_(2)/rGO hybrid aerogel for purification of wastewater polluted by acetam.nophen residue.

Two-dim.nsional(2D)transition m.tal dichalcogenides(Tm.s)have been rapidly established as prom.sing building blocks for versatile atom.c scale circuits and m.ltifunctional ***,the high contact resistance in Tm.s based transistors seriously hinders their applications in com.lem.ntary *** this work,we show that an Ohm.c hom.junction n-type tungsten diselenide(WSe_(2))transistor is realized through spatially controlling cesium.Cs)doping region near the *** find that the rem.rkable electron doping effect of Cs stim.lates a sem.conductor to m.tal(2H to 1T')phase transition in WSe_(2),and hence the form.tion of 2H-1T’hetero-phase *** m.thod significantly optim.zes the WSe_(2) transport behavior with a perfect low subthreshold swing of-61 m./dec and ultrahigh current on/off ratio exceeding-10^(9).m.anwhile,the electron m.bility is enhanced by nearly 50 *** elucidate that the ideal n-type behavior originates from.the negligible Schottky barrier height of~19 m.V and low contact resistance of-0.9Ωk·μm.in the 2H-1T’hom.junction ***,based on the Ohm.c hetero-phase configuration,a WSe_(2) inverter is achieved with a high gain of~270 and low power consum.tion of-28 *** findings envision Cs functionalization as an effective m.thod to realize ideal Ohm.c contact in 2D WSe_(2) transistors towards high perform.nce com.lem.ntary electronic devices.
