Worldwide,flexible pavements are the paramount type of *** national assets can be recycled to serve the next design life without the need to dispose of them in *** old/distressed,flexible pavement material is called,reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP)*** view of the sustainable development practice,100%RAP should be ***,the practical range of RAP incorporation in a drum mix plant ranges from 10%to 50%whereas in a batch mix plant,it is 10%-35%.In a batch mix plant,incorporation of the hot dried RAP(instead of cold RAP feeding)can increase the RAP incorporation level by 20%.Studies recommended that the rejuvenator should be added over the RAP material instead adding with the base *** addition of rejuvenator on the RAP conveyor belt(to the pug mill),provided sufficient time for rejuvenating the aged binder coating over RAP ***,a thorough knowledge of the mix design process of recycled hot mix asphalt(RAP-HMA)is essential to produce a durable *** high RAP content(>20%),the RAP binder properties are important for the mix design ***,very limited studies discussed(in detail)the recovery process of the RAP *** review article through light on the binder recovery process,method of RAP gradation,specific gravity determination for RAP material,minimum desirable properties of the RAP material *** review paper also provides a narrative review of the historical development of RAP-HMA technology,technical aspects related to the procurement of RAP material,mix design and production of the recycled ***,the international&national policies/laws for construction and demolition waste are discussed.

Expanding Roles of PIFs in Signal Integration from Multiple Processes

PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTORs （PIFs） are members of the basic helix-loop-helix （bHLH） family of transcription factors in Arabidopsis. Since their discovery in phytochrome-mediated light signaling pathways, recent studies have unraveled new functions of PIFs in integrating multiple signaling pathways not only through their role as transcription factors directly targeting gene expression but also by interacting with diverse groups of factors to optimize plant growth and development. These include endogenous （e.g., hormonal） as well as abiotic （light, circadian, and elevated temperature） and biotic （defense responses） pathways. PIFs interact with key factors in each of these pathways and tailor the outcome of the signal integration among these pathways. This review discusses the roles of PIFs as pivotal signal integrators in regulating plant growth and development.

DTM Simulation of Peristaltic Viscoelastic Biofluid Flow in Asymmetric Porous Media： A Digestive Transport Model

A biofluid dynamics mathematical model is developed to study peristaltic flow of non-Newtonian physiological liquid in a two-dimensional asymmetric channel containing porous media as a simulation of obstructed digestive （intestinal） transport. The fractional Oldroyd-B viscoelastic rheological model is utilized. The biophysical flow regime is constructed as a wave-like motion and porous medium is simulated with a modified Darcy-Brinkman model. This model is aimed at describing the diges- tive transport in intestinal tract containing deposits which induce impedance. A low Reynolds number approximation is em- ployed to eliminate inertial effects and the wavelength to diameter ratio is assumed to be large. The differential transform method （DTM）, a semi-computational technique is employed to obtain approximate analytical solutions to the boundary value problem. The influences of fractional （rheological material） parameters, relaxation time, retardation time, amplitude of the wave, and permeability parameter on peristaltic flow characteristics such as volumetric flow rate, pressure difference and wall friction force are computed. The present model is relevant to flow in diseased intestines.

The effect of pH on stability and thermal performance of graphene oxide and copper oxide hybrid nanofluids for heat transfer applications:Application of novel machine learning technique

This paper investigates the effects of pH on stability and thermal properties of copper oxide(CuO),graphene oxide(GO),and their hybrid nanofluid(HNF)at different mixing ***,sol-gel and Hummer’s method was employed for the synthesis of CuO and GO nanoparticles(NPs),and they are characterized with various *** effects of two different surfactants were analyzed on nanofluid’s(NF’s)stability at different pH *** properties like thermal conductivity(TC)and viscosity(VST)of NFs were measured at different volume concentration(0.1 vol%to 1.0 vol%)and temperature range of 30-60℃,*** TC and VST of GO/CuO(50:50)HNF are higher than that of GO/CuO(20:80).The figure of merit(FOM)is determined for the studied *** correlations were presented to calculate the TC as well as VST of *** modern novel machine learning-based ensemble approaches were employed for predictive model development for TC and VST of considered *** comparison of prognostic models with Taylor’s diagram revealed that Bayesian optimized support vector machine(BoASVM)was superior to Bayesian optimized boosted regression trees(BoA-BRT)for both TC and VST models.

The intent of this paper is to analyze the electromagnetic signature of stator winding inter-turn short-circuit fault in a closed loop speed controlled Induction Motor(IM)employing Finite Element *** winding short-circuit nearly covers 21%of faults in *** the inter-turn fault at an incipient stage is one of the challenging task in the area of fault detection of IM to prevent crucial damages in industrial *** detecting the faults in inverter fed IM under variable speed applications under varying load is one of the major issues in industrial *** the signatures of electromagnetic field contains the entire data in association with the location of rotor,stator and mechanical parts of the motor,a regular monitoring of fields in the airgap can be used to diagnose the inter-turn fault in the stator winding of *** this direction,an IM is modeled with several inter-turn fault severities like 30 turns,15 turns,5 turns&1 turn short using ANSYS Maxwell FEA tool and coupled with ANSYS Simplorer for loading *** PWM inverter with closed loop speed controlled strategy is implemented in Matlab Simulink and co-simulated with ANSYS Simplorer to integrate all the components in one common simulation platform environment for accurate design&analysis for realistic *** electromagnetic variables like flux density,flux lines and airgap flux density distribution over the machine are *** spatial FFT spectrum of radial component of flux density in the airgap contains the information related to the diagnosis of inter-turn fault at the incipient stage.

Ferromagnetic–paramagnetic transition temperature in bulk and nanostructured La_(0.7)Sr_xCa_(0.3-x)MnO_3(x=0.10, 0.15, and 0.20) manganite materials

Series of bulk and nanostructured La0.7SrxCa0.3-xMnO3（x = 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20） manganites were synthesized and characterized using different techniques. In the series, both the bulk and nanostructured La0.7Sr0.10Ca0.20MnO3 and La0.7Sr0.20Ca0.10MnO3 manganites have orthorhombic and rhombohedral structures, whereas La0.7Sr0.15Ca0.15MnO3 manganite has rhombohedral and orthorhombic structures, respectively. Online ultrasonic velocity and attenuation measurements were taken through an indigenously designed ultrasonic setup, and the analysis was done from 300 to 400 K during the aging of the samples to explore the structural/phase transitions. The bulk and nanocrystalline La0.7SrxCa0.3-xMnO3 perovskite samples show the particle size distribution in the range of 197-943 and 24-93 nm, respectively. The addition of Sr^2＋ alters the size of particles, which decrease in size. The observed anomaly in ultrasonic velocities, attenuations, and elastic moduli is correlated with the ferromagnetic-paramagnetic（FM-PM） transition temperature（TC） in both bulk and nanocrystalline perovskites. In addition, the shift in TC and the magnitude and width of observed anomaly are correlated with the value of x to study the behavior of TC.

Fabrication, characterization, in vitro drug release and glucose uptake activity of 14-deoxy,11, 12-didehydroandrographolide loaded polycaprolactone nanoparticles

Biodegradable polymer based novel drug delivery systems brought a considerable attention in enhancing the therapeutic efficacy and bioavailability of various drugs. 14-deoxy 11, 12-didehydro andrographolide(poorly water soluble compound) loaded polycaprolactone(nanoDDA) was synthesized using the solvent evaporation technique. Nano-DDA was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and dynamic light scattering(DLS) studies. Fourier Transform InfraRed Spectroscopy(FTIR) was used to investigate the structural interaction between the drug and the polymer. Functional characterization of the formulation was determined using drug content, cellular uptake and in vitro drug release. 2-deoxy-D-[1-~3H] glucose uptake assay was carried out to assess the antidiabetic potential of nano-DDA in L6 *** nano-DDA displayed spherical shape with a smooth surface(252.898 nm diameter), zeta potential, encapsulation and loading efficiencies of -38.9 mV, 91.98 ± 0.13% and 15.09 ± 0.18% respectively. No structural alteration between the drug and the polymer was evidenced(FTIR analysis). Confocal microscopy studies with rhodamine 123 loaded polycaprolactone nanoparticles(Rh123-PCL NPs) revealed the internalization of Rh123-PCL NPs in a time dependent manner in L6 myoblasts. A dose dependent increase in glucose uptake was observed for nano-DDA with a maximal uptake of 108.54 ± 1.42% at 100 nM on L6 myotubes, thereby proving its anti-diabetic efficacy. A biphasic pattern of in vitro drug release demonstrated an initial burst release at 24 h followed by a sustained release for up to 11 days. To conclude,our results revealed that nano-DDA formulation can be a potent candidate for antidiabetic drug delivery.

Properties of Charmonium States in a Phenomenological Approach

We investigate the spectrum and decay rates of charmonium states within the framework of the non relativistic quark model by employing a Coulomb like potential from the perturbative one gluon exchange and the linear confining potential along with the potential derived from instanton vacuum to account for the hyperfine mass splitting of charmonium states in variational approach. We predict radiative E1, M1, two-photon, lepton and two-gluon decay rates of low lying charmonium states. An overall agreement is obtained with the experimental masses and decay *** have estimated the branching ratio of two gluons decaying into light hadrons.
