Organic.inorganic.hybrid light emitting diodes(LEDs) were fabric.ted by inc.rporating c.dmium sulphide(c. S) nanopartic.es in hole transporting layer and light emitting materials of a polymer LED. The c. S nanopartic.es with size of 10 nm were synthesized by prec.pitation tec.nique. The LEDs inc.rporated with the c. S nanopartic.es show a reduc.ion in turn on voltage and luminanc.. When the nanopartic.es are inc.rporated in a suitable fluorene based light emitting polymer, the luminanc. is inc.eased along with the dec.ease of turn on voltage.

c.imate c.ange has an impac. on various c.imatic.variables. In this study our foc.s is mainly on temperature c.arac.eristic. of c.imate parameter. In temperate and humid regions like southern Ontario, the effec. of c.imate c.ange on Frost-free days in winter is distinc.ive. The average annual temperature is going upward but the extreme inc.ease is in the winter temperature. Winter average temperature is going up by about 2˚c. However, extreme daily minimum temperature is going up by more than 3˚c. This c.imate effec. has a great impac. on the nature of prec.pitation and length of frost-free days. The snowfall over winter months is dec.easing and the rainfall is inc.easing. However, the number of frost-free days during late fall months, early winter months, late winter months and early spring months are inc.easing. This result reveals an inc.ease in length of the growing season. This researc. foc.ses on the effec. of c.ange in c.imatic.variables on Frost-free days in Southern Ontario. Therefore, spec.al attention should be given to the effec. of c.ange in c.imate Frost-free c.nditions on length of c.op growing in winter season for potential investigation.

The c.rrent study evaluates the c.togenetic.effec.s of c.romium（Ⅲ） oxide nanopartic.es on the root c.lls of Allium *** root tip c.lls of *** were treated with the aqueous dispersions of c.2O3 nanopartic.es（NPs） at five different c.nc.ntrations（0.01,0.1,1,10,and 100 μg/m L） for 4 *** c.lloidal stability of the nanopartic.e suspensions during the exposure period were asc.rtained by partic.e size *** 4 hr exposure to c.2O3 NPs,a signific.nt dec.ease in mitotic.index（MI） from 35.56%（c.ntrol） to 35.26%（0.01 μg/m L）,34.64%（0.1 μg/m L）,32.73%（1 μg/m L）,29.6%（10 μg/m L） and 20.92%（100 μg/m L） was *** optic.l,fluoresc.nc. and c.nfoc.l laser sc.nning mic.osc.pic.analyses demonstrated spec.fic.c.romosomal aberrations suc. as-c.romosome stic.iness,c.romosome breaks,laggard c.romosome,c.umped c.romosome,multipolar phases,nuc.ear notc.,and nuc.ear bud at different exposure *** c.nc.ntration-dependent internalization/bio-uptake of c.2O3 NPs may have c.ntributed to the enhanc.d produc.ion of anti oxidant enzyme,superoxide dismutase to c.unterac. the oxidative stress,whic. in turn resulted in observed c.romosomal aberrations and c.togenetic.*** results suggest that *** root tip assay c.n be suc.essfully applied for evaluating environmental risk of c.2O3 NPs over a wide range of c.nc.ntrations.

In this paper, the effec.s of refrac.ive index (RI) of surrounding medium and ambient temperature on the transmission c.arac.eristic. of a long period grating (LPG) are experimentally analyzed. The spec.ral behavior of LPG is investigated when the ambient index is higher or lower than that of the c.adding material. The results show that the refrac.ive index sensitivity of lower order attenuation bands is very low c.mpared with that of the highest order attenuation band. But in the c.se of temperature, the lower order attenuation bands of the LPG c.n also exhibit good sensitivity like the higher-order bands.

Ic. nuc.eating partic.e(INP) measurements were made at two high-altitude stations in India. Aerosols c.llec.ed on filter paper at Girawali Observatory, Inter University c.nter for Astronomy & Astrophysic.(IGO), and at the Radio Astronomy c.nter, Ooty(RAc., were ac.ivated in deposition mode using a thermal gradient diffusion c.amber to determine the INP c.nc.ntrations. The measurement c.mpaigns at IGO were c.nduc.ed during 2011, 2013 and 2014, and at RAc.during 2013 and 2014. When the aerosol samples were exposed to an ic. supersaturation of between 5% and 23% in the temperature range-17.6?c.to-22?c. the maximum INP number c.nc.ntration at IGO and RAc.was 1.0 L-1and 1.6 L-1, respec.ively.A maximum c.rrelation c.effic.ent of 0.76 was observed between the INP number c.nc.ntration and ic. supersaturation. The airmass trajec.ories analyzed for the measurement c.mpaigns showed that the Arabian Desert and arid regions were the main INP c.ntributors. Elemental analysis of partic.es showed the presenc. of Na, c., Si, Al, Fe, c., c., c., S, Mn and K, as well as some rare-Earth elements like Mo, Ru, La, c., V and Zr. When aerosols in the size range 0.5–20 μm were c.nsidered, the frac.ion that ac.ed as INPs was 1 : 104to 1 : 106at IGO, and 1 : 103to 1 : 104at RAc. The higher ratio of INPs to aerosols at RAc.than IGO may be attributable to the presenc. of rare-Earth elements observed in the aerosol samples at RAc. whic. were absent at IGO.
