This paper studies the reliability evaluation of a stochastic manufacturing system with multiple production lines in parallel. Multiple repairs and different failure rates, never simultaneously addressed in earlier works, are taken into account. First, a revised graphical methodology integrating transformation and decomposition is utilized to construct the stochastic manufacturing system as a multi-state manufacturing network （MSMN）. In particular, a ＂predecessor-set＂ technique is proposed to deal with multiple repairs. An algorithm is proposed to generate the lowest capacity vectors （LCVs） that stations should provide to satisfy the workloads. Subsequently, the system reliability of the MSMN, which is defined as the probability of demand satisfaction, is calculated in terms of the LCVs. A real case of a printed circuit board manufacturing system is utilized to demonstrate how the system reliability can be evaluated. A further decision making issue is addressed based on the derived system reliability.

This paper proposes a graphical-based methodology to evaluate the performance of a manufacturing system in terms of network *** focus on a manufacturing system which consists of multiple distinct production lines.A transformation technique is developed to build the manufacturing system as a manufacturing *** such a manufacturing network,the capacity of each machine is multistate due to failure,partial failure,or ***,this manufacturing network is also regarded as a multistate *** evaluate the probability that the manufacturing network can meet a given demand,where the probability is referred to as the system reliability.A simple algorithm integrating decomposition technique is proposed to generate the minimal capacity vectors that machines should provide to eventually satisfy *** system reliability is derived in terms of such capacity vectors afterwards.A practical application in the context of IC card manufacturing system is utilized to demonstrate the performance evaluation procedure.

Background: Obesity is a common public health issue and is currently deemed a disease. Research has shown that the risk of gallstones in individuals with obesity is elevated. This study aimed to explore the bile proteomics differences between cholelithiasis patients with obesity and normal body weight. Methods: Bile samples from 20 patients(10 with obesity and 10 with normal body weight) who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy at our center were subjected to tandem mass tag labeling(TMT) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS), followed by further bioinformatic analysis. Results: Among the differentially expressed proteins, 23 were upregulated and 67 were downregulated. Bioinformatic analysis indicated that these differentially expressed proteins were mainly involved in cell development, inflammatory responses, glycerolipid metabolic processes, and protein activation cascades. In addition, the activity of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR, a subfamily of nuclear receptors) signaling pathway was decreased in the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) enrichment analysis. Two downregulated proteins in the PPAR signaling pathway, APO A-Ⅰ and APO A-Ⅱ, were confirmed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Conclusions: The PPAR signaling pathway may play a crucial role in the development of cholelithiasis among patients with obesity. Furthermore, biliary proteomics profiling of gallstones patients with obesity is revealed, providing a reference for future research.

Grain growth of magnesium(Mg)and its hydride is one of the main reasons for kinetic and capacity degradation during the hydrogen absorption and desorption *** solve this problem,herein we propose a novel method involving synergistic effect of inside embedded metals and outside coated graphene to limit the growth of Mg and its hydride *** graphene coated Mg-Y-Al alloys were selected as a model system for demonstrating this positive effect where the Mg_(91)Y_(3)Al_(6)alloy was first prepared by rapidly solidified method and then high-pressure milled with 5 wt%graphene upon 5 MPa hydrogen gas for obtaining in-situ formed YAl_(2)and YH_(3)embedded in the MgH_(2)matrix with graphene shell(denoted as MgH_(2)-Y-Al@GR).In comparison to pure MgH_(2),the obtained MgH_(2)-Y-Al@GR composites deliver much better kinetics and more stable cyclic *** instance,the MgH_(2)-Y-Al@GR can release about 6.1 wt%H_(2)within 30 min at 300℃ but pure MgH_(2)only desorbs∼1.5 wt%H_(2).The activation energy for desorption of MgH_(2)-Y-Al@GR samples is calculated to be 75.3±9.1 kJ/mol that is much lower than approximately 160 kJ/mol for pure MgH_(2).Moreover,its capacity retention is promoted from∼57%of pure MgH_(2)to∼84%after 50th cycles without obvious particle agglomeration and grain *** synergistic effect of outside graphene coating with inside embedded metals which could provide a huge number of active sites for catalysis as well as inhibit the grain growth of Mg and its hydride is believed to be responsible for these.

Single wall carbon nanotube(SWCNT)/Si heterojunction photodetectors have the advantages of high photoresponse ability and simple structure,however,their detection wavelength range are usually lower than 1100 nm,which limits their application in the infrared *** report a SWCNT/Cu/Si photodetector with both a high photoresponse and a detection range up to the infrared band by depositing a Cu nanoparticles(NPs)layer between a SWCNT film and a n-Si *** was found that the Cu NPs produce strong surface plasmon resonance(SPR)under laser irradiation,which breaks through the limitation of Si band gap and greatly improves the photoresponse of the SWCNT/Cu/Si photodetector in the near infrared *** responsivity(R)of the photodetector in the wavelength range of 1850–1200 nm reached 2.2–14.15 mA/W,which is the highest value in the reported plasmon enhanced n-Si based photodetectors,and about 20,000 times higher than that of a SWCNT/Si *** R value for 1550 nm wavelength used in optical communications reached~8.2 mA/W,which is 64%higher than the previously reported values of commonly used *** attribute the significant increase to the strong SPR and low Schottky barrier of Cu with n-Si,which facilitates the generation and transfer of the carriers.
