Single argon bubble dynamics in liquid steel under Ruhrstahl-Heraeus(RH)vacuum conditions were simulated using the volume of fluid method,and the ideal gas law was used to consider bubble growth due to heat transfer and pressure drop.Additional simulation with a constant bubble density was also performed to validate the numerical method,and the predicted terminal bubble shape and velocity were found to agree with those presented in the Grace diagram and calculated by drag correlation,respectively.The simulation results under RH conditions indicate that the terminal bubble shape and velocity cannot be reached.The primary bubble growth occurs within a rising distance of 0.3 m owing to heating by the high-temperature liquid steel;subsequently,the bubble continues to grow under equilibrium with the hydrostatic pressure.When the initial diameter is 8-32 mm,the bubble diameter and rising velocity near the liquid surface are 80-200 mm and 0.5-0.8 m/s,respectively.The bubble rises rectilinearly with an axisymmetric shape,and the shape evolution history includes an initial sphere,(dimpled)ellipsoid,and spherical cap with satellite bubbles.

The tumor development and metastasis are closely related to the structure and function of the tumor microenvironment(TME).Recently,TME modulation strategies have attracted much attention in cancer immunotherapy.Despite the preliminary success of immunotherapeutic agents,their therapeutic effects have been restricted by the limited retention time of drugs in TME.Compared with traditional delivery systems,nanoparticles with unique physical properties and elaborate design can efficiently penetrate TME and specifically deliver to the major components in TME.In this review,we briefly introduce the substitutes of TME including dendritic cells,macrophages,fibroblasts,tumor vasculature,tumor-draining lymph nodes and hypoxic state,then review various nanoparticles targeting these components and their applications in tumor therapy.In addition,nanoparticles could be combined with other therapies,including chemotherapy,radiotherapy,and photodynamic therapy,however,the nanoplatform delivery system may not be effective in all types of tumors due to the heterogeneity of different tumors and individuals.The changes of TME at various stages during tumor development are required to be further elucidated so that more individualized nanoplatforms could be designed.

BACKGROUND Depression is a common and serious psychological condition,which seriously affects individual well-being and functional ability.Traditional treatment methods include drug therapy and psychological counseling;however,these methods have different degrees of side effects and limitations.In recent years,nonconvulsive electrotherapy(NET)has attracted increasing attention as a noninvasive treatment method.However,the clinical efficacy and potential mechanism of NET on depression are still unclear.We hypothesized that NET has a positive clinical effect in the treatment of depression,and may have a regulatory effect on serum inflammatory factors during treatment.AIM To assess the effects of NET on depression and analyze changes in serum inflammatory factors.METHODS This retrospective study enrolled 140 patients undergoing treatment for depression between May 2017 and June 2022,the observation group that received a combination of mindfulness-based stress reduction(MBSR)and NET treatment(n=70)and the control group that only received MBSR therapy(n=70).The clinical effectiveness of the treatment was evaluated by assessing various factors,including the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)-17,self-rating idea of suicide scale(SSIOS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and levels of serum inflammatory factors before and after 8 wk of treatment.The quality of life scores between the two groups were compared.Comparisons were made using t and χ^(2) tests.RESULTS After 8 wk of treatment,the observation group exhibited a 91.43%overall effectiveness rate which was higher than that of the control group which was 74.29%(64 vs 52,χ^(2)=7.241;P<0.05).The HAMD,SSIOS,and PSQI scores showed a significant decrease in both groups.Moreover,the observation group had lower scores than the control group(10.37±2.04 vs 14.02±2.16,t=10.280;1.67±0.28 vs 0.87±0.12,t=21.970;5.29±1.33 vs 7.94±1.35,t=11.700;P both<0.001).Additionally,there was a notable decrease in the IL-2,IL-1β,and IL-6 in both groups after treatment.Furthermore,the observation

The Chinese government is deepening reformation of electricity prices during the 14th Five Year Plan period and has set a carbon emission reduction target of reaching carbon peak before 2030.In this context,will the carbon emission target influence electricity pricing and will electricity price influence competitiveness of Chinese main industries are two questions needing to be answered.This paper compares China's electricity price level with the selected major countries in the world,and four typical industries are selected to evaluate their electricity burden respectively.Then,the correlation between residential electricity price and industrial electricity price and the influencing factors is analyzed,from the perspectives of scale,structure and technology.According to the model obtained by regression analysis,the electricity price level and corresponding residential and industrial electricity burden in 2025 and 2030 are forecasted.Index Terms-Electricity burden,industrial electricity price,regression analysis,residential electricity price.

With the rapid development of fifth-generation mobile com-munication technology and wearable electronic devices,electromagnetic interference and radiation pollution caused by electromagnetic waves have attracted worldwide attention.Therefore,the design and development of highly efficient EMI shielding materials are of great importance.In this work,the three-dimensional graphene oxide(GO)with regular honeycomb structure(GH)is firstly constructed by sacrificial template and freeze-dry-ing methods.Then,the amino functionalized FeNi alloy particles(f-FeNi)are loaded on the GH skeleton followed by in-situ reduction to prepare rGH@FeNi aerogel.Finally,the rGH@FeNi/epoxy EMI shielding com-posites with regular honeycomb structure is obtained by vacuum-assisted impregnation of epoxy resin.Benefitting from the construction of regular honeycomb structure and electromagnetic synergistic effect,the rGH@FeNi/epoxy composites with a low rGH@FeNi mass fraction of 2.1 wt%(rGH and f-FeNi are 1.2 and 0.9 wt%,respectively)exhibit a high EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)of 46 dB,which is 5.8 times of that(8 dB)for rGO/FeNi/epoxy composites with the same rGO/FeNi mass fraction.At the same time,the rGH@FeNi/epoxy composites also possess excellent thermal stability(heat-resistance index and temperature at the maximum decomposition rate are 179.1 and 389.0°C respectively)and mechanical properties(storage modulus is 8296.2 MPa).

Deep venous thrombosis(DVT)poses a major challenge to public health worldwide.Endothelial cell injury evokes inflammatory and oxidative responses that contribute to thrombus formation.Tea polyphenol(TP)in the form of epigallocatechin-3-gallate(EGCG)has anti-inflammatory and oxidative effect that may ameliorate DVT.However,the precise mechanism remains incompletely understood.The current study was designed to investigate the anti-DVT mechanism of EGCG in combination with warfarin(an oral anticoagulant).Rabbits were randomly divided into five groups.A DVT model of rats was established through ligation of the inferior vena cava(IVC)and left common iliac vein,and the animals were orally administered with EGCG,warfarin,or vehicle for seven days.In vitro studies included pretreatment of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)with different concentrations of EGCG for 2 h before exposure to hydrogen peroxide.Thrombus weight and length were examined.Histopathological changes were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining.Blood samples were collected for detecting coagulation function,including thrombin and prothrombin times,activated partial thromboplastin time,and fibrinogen levels.Protein expression in thrombosed IVCs and HUVECs was evaluated by Western blot,immunohistochemical analysis,and/or immunofluorescence staining.RT-qPCR was used to determine the levels of AGTR-1 and VEGF mRNA in IVCs and HUVECs.The viability of HUVECs was examined by CCK-8 assay.Flow cytometry was performed to detect cell apoptosis and ROS generation was assessed by 2′,7ʹ-dichlorofluorescein diacetate reagent.In vitro and in vivo studies showed that EGCG combined with warfarin significantly reduced thrombus weight and length,and apoptosis in HUVECs.Our findings indicated that the combination of EGCG and warfarin protects HUVECs from oxidative stress and prevents apoptosis.However,HIF-1αsilencing weakened these effects,which indicated that HIF-1αmay participate in DVT.Furthermore,HIF-1αsilencing significantly up-regulated cell apoptosis and

When the face of the inspected person and the photograph on their identification(ID)card cannot be clearly matched,the individual is undocumented,or the ID is forged,it is often difficult for the on‑site police to respond in time.This study proposes a number of key technologies for collecting fingerprints at mobile terminals for fast comparison using an automated fingerprint ID system(AFIS).These technologies ensure intelligent mobile fingerprint collection and allow the transmission of fingerprint information from the terminal to AFIS,over a wireless public security network for real‑time fingerprint comparison.This study also analyzes the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed technologies for system design and the applicability of fingerprint ID algorithms.The system achieved good results in a test by the Shanghai Public Security Bureau Criminal Investigation Corps.
