The intricate interplay between the human immune system and cancer development underscores the central role of immunotherapy in cancer *** this landscape,the innate immune system,a critical sentinel protecting against tumor incursion,is a key *** cyclic GMP-AMP synthase(c GAS)and stimulator of interferon genes(STING)pathway has been found to be a linchpin of innate immunity:activation of this signaling pathway orchestrates the production of type I interferon(IFN-α/β),thus fostering the maturation,differentiation,and mobilization of immune effectors in the tumor ***,STING activation facilitates the release and presentation of tumor antigens,and therefore is an attractive target for cancer *** strategies to activate the STING pathway,including use of pharmacological agonists,have made substantial advancements,particularly when combined with immune checkpoint *** approaches have shown promise in preclinical and clinical settings,by enhancing patient survival *** review describes the evolving understanding of the c GAS-STING pathway's involvement in tumor biology and ***,this review explores classical and non-classical STING agonists,providing insights into their mechanisms of action and potential for optimizing immunotherapy *** challenges and complexities,the c GAS-STING pathway,a promising avenue for enhancing cancer treatment efficacy,has the potential to revolutionize patient outcomes.

Clinical effects of nonconvulsive electrotherapy combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction and changes of serum inflammatory factors in depression

Bioorthogonal reactions are a class of chemical reactions that can be carried out in living organisms without interfering with other reactions, possessing high yield, high selectivity, and high efficiency. Since the first proposal of the conception by Professor Carolyn Bertozzi in 2.03, bioorthogonal chemistry has attracted great attention and has been quickly developed. As an important chemical biology tool, bioorthogonal reactions have been applied broadly in biomedicine, including bio-labeling, nucleic acid functionalization, drug discovery, drug activation, synthesis of antibody–drug conjugates, and proteolysis-targeting chimeras. Given this, we summarized the basic knowledge, development history, research status, and prospects of bioorthogonal reactions and their biomedical applications. The main purpose of this paper is to furnish an overview of the intriguing bioorthogonal reactions in a variety of biomedical applications and to provide guidance for the design of novel reactions to enrich bioorthogonal chemistry toolkits.

Glufosinate-ammonium herbicides are the most widely used broad-spectrum,non-selective herbicides in the ***-ammonium is a structural analogue of glutamate(Glu)which can irreversibly inhibit the activity of glutamine synthetase(GS)and Glu decarboxylase in plants,thereby blocking the synthesis of glutamine(Gln)from Glu and ammonia(Hoerlein,1994).This causes the plants to die because of the nitrogen metabolism disorder and subsequent intracellular accumulation of *** humans,the characteristic features of glufosinate-ammonium herbicide poisoning include gastrointestinal symptoms and neurotoxicity(Watanabe and Sano,1998).
