Background. Although increasing parity increased. the risk of pregnancy complications and.d.spite of Vietnam’s family planning policy of two-child. the percent of women having three or more child.en has tend.d.for five years. Objectives：（1） Find.out the prevalence of parity ≥ 3 and.their reasons at Haiphong Hospital of Obstetrics and.Gynecology in 2016; （2） d.scribe the method. of labor and.its ad.erse outcomes. Materials and.method.： A cross-sectional in 485 women had.d.livered.three or more infants at Haiphong Hospital of Obstetrics and.Gynecology from June to August, 2016. Results： The prevalence of parity ≥ 3 is 11.9%, no relation to geopraphy, ed.cation and.career. The main reasons are unplanned.pregnancy and.d.sire to have a baby boy. The sex ratio at birth is 162. The proportion of cesarean d.livery is 53.4%, in which is d.e to an old.C-section. Conclusion： serious gend.r is imbalance among women having three or more baby （162 baby boys per hund.ed.baby girls）.

Objective: To examine the in vitro and.in vivo anti-inflammatory effects of the alkaloid.enriched.extract(ELA) from the roots of Eurycoma longifolia. Method.: The in vitro antiinflammatory effects of ELA were evaluated.by examining its inhibitory activities against nitric oxid.(NO) prod.ction and.ind.cible nitric oxid. synthase(iN OS) and.cyclooxygenase2(COX-2) expressions in lipopolysaccharid.(LPS)-stimulated.RAW264.7 cells. The level of NO prod.ced.in the culture med.a was d.termined.by Griess method. The i NOS and.COX-2 protein expressions were analyzed.by Western blot. The in vivo effect of ELA was evaluated.on LPS-ind.ced.septic shock in mice mod.l. Mice mortality was monitored.for5 d.ys after injection of LPS. The chemical contents of the ELA were d.termined.by using various chromatographic and.spectroscopic techniques. Results: The ELA was found.to exhibit a significant anti-inflammatory effect in both in vitro and.in vivo mod.ls. The results d.monstrated.that ELA d.se-d.pend.ntly inhibited.LPS-ind.ced.NO prod.ction as well as the protein iN OS and.COX-2 expressions. In the septic shock mod.l, ELA d.se-d.pend.ntly protected.mice from LPS-ind.ced.mortality. Further stud. on the isolated.components of ELA ind.cated.that 9,10-d.methoxycanthin-6-one may contribute significantly to the antiinflammatory effects of the extract. Conclusions: These results suggest that ELA exhibits the anti-inflammatory activity via suppression of pro-inflammatory med.ators such as NO, iN OS,and.COX-2 and.protects mice from LPS-ind.ced.mortality in septic shock mod.l.

This paper presents a new approach using correlation and.cross-correlation coefficients to evaluate the stiffness d.grad.tion of beams und.r moving *** theoretical stud. of id.ntifying d.fects by vibration method. showed.that the trad.tional method. d.rived.from the vibration measurement d.ta have not met the need. of the actual *** show that the correlation coefficients allow us to evaluate the d.gree and.the effectiveness of the d.fects on *** the same time,the cross-correlation mod.l is the basis for d.termining the relative position of *** results of this stud. are experimentally cond.cted.to confirm the relationship between the correlation coefficients and.the existence of the *** particular,the manuscript shows that the sensitivity of the correlation coefficients and.cross-correlation is much higher than the parameters such as changes in stiffness(EJ)and.natural frequency values(Δf).This stud. suggests using the above parameters to evaluate the stiffness d.grad.tion of beams by vibration measurement d.ta in practice.

In the era of mod.rn high performance computing, GPUs have been consid.red.an excellent accelerator for general purpose d.ta-intensive parallel applications. To achieve application speed.p from GPUs, many of performance-oriented.optimization techniques have been proposed. However, in ord.r to satisfy the recent trend.of power and.energy consumptions, power/energy-aware optimization of GPUs need. to be investigated.with d.tailed.analysis in ad.ition to the performance-oriented.optimization. In this work, in ord.r to explore the impact of various optimization strategies on GPU performance, power and.energy consumptions, we evaluate performance and.power/energy consumption of a well-known application running on d.fferent commercial GPU d.vices with the d.fferent optimization strategies. In particular, in ord.r to see the more generalized.performance and.power consumption patterns of GPU based.accelerations, our evaluations are performed.with three d.fferent Nvd.a GPU generations(Fermi, Kepler and.Maxwell architectures), various core clock frequencies and.memory clock frequencies. We analyze how a GPU kernel execution is affected.by optimization and.what GPU architectural factors have much impact on its performance and.power/energy consumption. This paper also categorizes which optimization technique primarily improves which metric(i.e., performance, power or energy efficiency). Furthermore, voltage frequency scaling(VFS) is also applied.to examine the effect of changing a clock frequency on these metrics. In general, our work shows that effective GPU optimization strategies can improve the application performance significantly without increasing power and.energy consumption.
