The main aim of this paper is to present an analytical approach on the postbuckling for torsionally loaded sandwich carbon nanotube(CNT)reinforced cylindrical shells with the auxetic *** considered shells consist of three layers,external and internal CNT reinforced layers,and the auxetic lattice core made by isotropic *** homogenization model for honeycomb auxetic lattice core is utilized,and the equilibrium equations are formulated based on the nonlinear Donnell’s thin shell theory with von Karman geometrical *** three terms of deflection are considered,the Airy’s stress function and Galerkin’s method are utilized,the explicit expression of critical buckling of torsionally loaded shells and load-deflection expression of postbuckling states are *** effects of two carbon nanotube reinforced layers,the auxetic core layer,the volume fraction of carbon nanotube on the torsional buckling behavior are examined and remarked.

By analyzing the satellite images, topology map, geology map, geomorphology map, and field survey data, this study has determined the Cam Ranh-Tuy Phong fault in the South Central area, Viet Nam has NE-SW orientation and inclines to SE with high slope angle of 70-80°. During the Pliocene-Quaternary period, the Cam Ranh-Tuy Phong fault is left-lateral movement with the extension mechanisms, which formed the graben have an NE-SW orientation, deposited by Quaternary sediment. The fracture systems and fault are the channels for the mineral water and hot water to move up from the deep zone in the area of Cam Thinh Dong, Ha Nhi, Vinh Hao, Nha Me, Tuy Thinh..., and also to be the channels for the mud material, clay and underground water to move from below zone to the surface to form high mud mounds. The analytical results of clay mud have identified clay mineral composition to be main montmorilonit, illite, kaolinite, calcite, chlorite. The occurrence of montmorilonit minerals in this study area is characterized by the alkali-rich environment. The chemical composition of calcite is determined forming in the environment of with pH 〉 9, characterized by the add climates. Besides, other analytical results of clay mud also identified some minerals, such as： ankerite （Fe, Mg）CO3, calcite and some accessory minerals such as： fluorite, lepidocrokit with the participation hydrothermal process.

White mulberry Morus alba and jackfruit Artocarpus heterophyllus are two of seven chosen Vietnamese folk plants which showed the highest tyrosinase inhibition activity. Besides, both of them showed antioxidant and antibacterial activities. Especially, the Sulforhodamine B (SRB) assay test result of the root core extract of M. alba figured out its non-toxicity on foreskin fibroblasts.

Objective:To evaluate the antitumor activity both in vitro and in vivo of saponin–phospholipid complex of Panax ***:The in vitro cytotoxic effect of saponins extract and saponin–phospholipid complex against human lung cancer NCI-H460 and breast cancer cell lines BT474 was examined using MTS *** in vivo evaluation of antitumor potential,saponin and saponin–phospholipid complex were administered orally in rats induced mammary carcinogenesis by 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene,for 30 ***:Our data showed that saponin–phospholipid complex had stronger anticancer effect compared to saponin *** IC50 values of saponin–phospholipid complex and saponin extract for NCI-H460 cell lines were 28.47 mg/m L and 47.97 mg/mL,respectively and these values for BT474 cells were 53.18 mg/mL and 86.24 mg/mL,*** vivo experiments,administration of saponin,saponin–phospholipid complex and paclitaxel(positive control) effectively suppressed 7,12-dimethylbenz(a) anthracene-induced breast cancer evidenced by a decrease in tumor volume,the reduction of lipid peroxidation level and increase in the body weight,and elevated the enzymatic antioxidant activities of superoxide dismutase,catalase,glutathione peroxidase in rat breast ***:Our study suggests that saponin extract from Panax notoginseng and saponin–phospholipid complex have potential to prevent cancer,especially breast cancer.

The paper presents a generalization of the conventional analytical approach where the quasisteady theory is utilised to evalu-ate the across-wind aerodynamic damping of slender single beam *** generalized theory considers the variation of structural and aerodynamic parameters along the structural height,together with the nature of the vertical wind profile and mode ***-form solutions for typical uniform and tapered tall buildings are given.A numerical application on a prototype tall building shows that the conventional method may be oversimplified,which results in incorrect predictions of the aerodynamic damping.

Objective:To investigate the antitumor effect of maesopsin 4-O-β-glucoside(TAT2) isolated from the leaves of Artocarpus tonkinensis(***) *** ***:The antitumor activity of TAT2 was evaluated in Lewis lung carcinoma(LLC) tumor-bearing ***/c mice had tumors induced by implantation with 2× 10~6 LLC cells into the subcutaneous right posterior ***-bearing mice were treated orally with a range of doses of TAT2 and a standard drug,*** were observed for tumor growth and mortality *** was collected to determine hematological and biochemical *** TAT2 was isolated from an ethanolic extract of *** *** structure was determined by MS and NMR spectroscopy,and identified as *** compound did not show acute toxicity at the highest dose tested(2 OIK) mg/kg body weight).TAT2 exhibited antitumor activity by decreasing tumor growth,increasing the survival rale,and ameliorating some hematological and biochemical parameters at doses of 100 and 200 mg/kg body weight(P<0.05).Conclusions:These results indicate that TAT2 possesses clear antitumor *** to its bioavailability and low toxicity,and the fact that it could be isolated in a large scale from *** leaves,the compound shows promise as a potential anticancer drug.

The paper presents a novel configuration in order to improve the compactness and manufacturing cost of magneto-rheological material(or fluid)based brakes(MRB in short).In conventional configurations of MRBs,the coil is normally wound on a nonmagnetic bobbin which is placed on the *** causes difficulties in manufacturing of the brake and the bottle-neck problem of magnetic *** the proposed configuration,the coil is wound directly on the inner cylinder of the *** this case,the inner cylinder of the housing should be designed in a special shape that maximizes the magnetic flux across the MR fluid(MRF)*** proposing of the new configuration of the MRBs,the modeling of the MRBs is performed based on Bingham rheological model of the *** optimal design of the proposed MRBs and conventional MRBs is then performed based on finite element analysis results of magnetic circuit of the MRBs.A comparative work between the optimal parameters of the proposed MRBs and conventional MRBs is conducted and the advanced performance characteristics of the proposed MRBs are investigated.

Background: Innominate osteotomy procedures have been widely used as an integral component of combined surgery to treat developmental dysplasia of the hip in children. Autograft concern is further supported by authors who suggest the routine use of internal fixation. Problems such as graft extrusion, rotation and absorption, leading to loss of acetabular correction, were often noted in cases previously treated at our National Hospital for Pediatrics. This retrospective study reviewed the radiographic results of this treatment protocol in 106 hips developmental dislocated hips which met our inclusion criteria. The efficacy of this method to achieve and maintain a well covered and stable hip was the main objective of the study. Methods: This retrospective study reviewed the radiographs of 106 hips presenting with developmental dislocation which were treated by modified Salter’s innomiate osteotomy and using a fibular allograft as the interposition material. Dislocations of the hip were graded using the T?nnis system. Measurement of the acetabular index (AI) was the main variable. The minimum follow up period was 2 years. Possible complications such as loss of acetabular correction, hip redislocation, graft extrusion or resorption, the need for osteotomy internal fixation, delayed or non union, infection or avascular necrosis (AVN) were documented in this series. Results: Between January 2004 and December 2008, 106 surgeries were performed in 95 patients. Sixty-three (86.3%) of the patients were girls and ten (13.7%) were boys, thirteen patients (13.7%) were between twelve and eighteen months old at the time of the operation, the remaining eighty-two (86.3%) patients being between eighteen and thirty-six months old, with the mean age of 22.6 months at the time of surgery. There were eleven (11.6%) patients who had bilateral dislocation. Eighty-four (88.4%) patients were affected unilaterally. Congenital Club Foot in Children Younger than 24 Months: Decancelous Cuboid Combined with Selective Soft Tissue Release

Purpose: To evaluate 2 surgical prosedures in treatment of congenital clubfeet in children younger than 24 months. Materials and methods: Data were analyzed on 319 patients (448 feet) from July 1990 to December 2005. Clinical and classification for all patients according to Diméglio. Operated patients were devided into two group: Group1, selective soft tissue release;and Group 2, selective soft tissue release combined with cuboid decancelation. Surgical result were classified according to McKay’s system. Results: There were 103 females (32.3%) and 216 males (67.7%) in this study. There were 192 patients (268 feet) in group 1, 127 patients (180 feet) in group 2. Bilateral involvement was found in 129 patients (40.4%), only the left foot affected in 65 patients (20.4%), and only the right in 125 patients (39.2%). According to the classification of Diméglio Grade II was seen in 32.4%, Grade III in 53,1%, and Grade IV in 14.5%. Postoperatively, in group 1, we got excellent result in 29.1%, good result in 49.2%, fair result in 18.3%, and poor result in 3.4%. In group 2, we attained excellent result in 50.6%, good result in 42.2%, fair result in 6.1% and poor result in 1.1%. The good to excellent result in group 2 was significantly higher in group 1 with p = 0.000042. There was no failure in both groups. Residual adduction of forefoot in frontal plane was seen in 78.0% of group 1, and 10.6% of group 2, which was also statistically significant with p ~ 0. Conclusion: Generally speaking, the procedure of selective soft tissue releases combined with cuboid decancelation showed an outstanding result with good to excellent result of 92.8%. Surgical procedure is simple, safe, and applicable for all patients with clubfeet’s deformyties.

The development of accounting systems is influenced by socio-economic characteristics at each stage. The paper explores the impact of the characteristics of political institutions at every stage in the development of social economy, which determines the objects using accounting information, as well as the legal accounting system issued so that accounting can meet the demand for accounting information of these objects in Vietnam from 1975 to the present. Based on studies by authors in this period as well as issued accounting documents system, this paper aims to point out the formation and development process of Vietnam accounting system, providing researchers and elaborating agencies with a basis for determining the right development direction of Vietnam accounting in the coming time.
