Dendrite growth is a complex liquid-solid phase transition process invol.ing mul.iple physical factors.A phase-field lattice-Boltzmann method was developed to simulate the two-and three-dimension dendrite growth of Al-Cu *** effect of fully coupled thermal-solute-convection interaction on the dendrite growth was investigated by incorporating a parallel-adaptive mesh refinement algorithm into the numerical *** accurately reproducing the latent heat release,solute diffusion and convective transport behaviors at the liquidsolid interface,the interaction mechanism among thermal-solute-convection transport as well as their coupling effects on the dendrite growth dynamics were *** simulation results show that the release of latent heat slows down the dendrite growth rate,and both natural and forced convection disrupt the symmetrical growth of *** combination makes the growth of dendrites more complex,capturing important physical aspects such as recalescence,dendrite tip splitting,dendrite til.ing,dendrite remel.ing,and solute plume in the simulation *** on the robustness and powerful ability of the numerical model,the formation mechanisms of these physical aspects were revealed.

Existing studies have underscored the pivotal role of N-acetyltransferase 10(NAT10) in various cancers. However, the outcomes of protein-protein interactions between NAT10 and its protein partners in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC) remain unexplored. in this study, we identified a significant upregulation of RNA-binding protein with serine-rich domain 1(RNPS1) in HNSCC, where RNPS1 inhibits the ubiquitination degradation of NAT10 by E3 ubiquitin ligase, zinc finger SWiM domain-containing protein 6(ZSWiM6), through direct protein interaction, thereby promoting high NAT10 expression in HNSCC. This upregulated NAT10 stability mediates the enhancement of specific tRNA ac^(4)C modifications, subsequently boosting the translation process of genes involved in pathways such as il-6 signaling, il-8 signaling, and PTEN signaling that play roles in regulating HNSCC malignant progression, ul.imately influencing the survival and prognosis of HNSCC patients. Additionally, we pioneered the development of TRMC-seq, leading to the discovery of novel t RNA-ac^(4)C modification sites, thereby providing a potent sequencing tool for tRNAac^(4)C research. Our findings expand the repertoire of tRNA ac^(4)C modifications and identify a role of tRNA ac^(4)C in the regulation of mRNA translation in HNSCC.

The actual manufacture of supercapacitors(SCs)is restricted by the inadequate energy density,and the energy density of devices can be properly promoted by assembling zinc-ion capacitors(ZiCs)which used capacitive cathode and battery-type ***-dimensional(2D)MXene has brought great focuses in the electrode research on the foundation of large redox-active surface,but the specific capacitance is still affected by the tight stacking of ***_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@polyaniline(PANi)heterostructures are prepared by uniformly depositing the conductive polymer PANi nanorods as the intercalation agent into the external of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)nanosheets to inhibit ***,by using graphene oxide(GO)-assisted low-temperature hydrothermal self-assembly manufacture,2D heterostructures are assembled into the three-dimensional(3D)porous crosslinked Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@PANi-reduced graphene oxide(RGO)*** to the synergistic work of PANi nanorods,Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(X)nanosheets,and 3D crosslinking frameworks of RGO to match capacitive and battery effects,3D porous hierarchical Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@PANi-RGO heterostructure hydrogels have rich ion transport channels,a large number of active sites,and excellent reaction *** is assembled by using Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@PANi-RGO heterostructure hydrogels as cathodes and zinc foil as *** this work,Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)@PANi-RGO//Zn ZiC exhibits a wide working window(2.0 V),marked specific capacitance(589.89 F·g^(−1)at 0.5 A·g−1),salient energy density(327.71 Wh·kg^(−1)at 513.61 W·kg^(−1)and 192.20 Wh·kg^(−1)at 13,005.87 W·kg^(−1)),and durable cycling stability(97.87%capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles at 10 A·g^(−1)).This study emphasizes the device design of ZiCs and the broad prospect of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)-based hydrogels as viable cathodes for ZiCs.

The gradient nanostructure is machined on the aluminum(Al)alloy by the two-dimensional ultrasonic surface burnishing process(2D-USBP).The mechanism of why the gradient nanostructure enhances wear resistance is *** mechanical properties and microstructure characterization for the gradient nanostructure are performed by operating a nanoindenter,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD).Dry wear tests are performed on the samples before and after machining to evaluate the wear resistance and *** effect of the gradient nanostructure on the wear resistance is explored by developing the crystal plasticity(CP)finite element and molecular dynamics(MD)*** characterization results show that the 2D-USBP sample prepared a gradient structure of~600μm thick on the aluminum surface,increasing the surface hardness from 1.13 to 1.71 GPa and reducing the elastic modulus from 78.84 to 70.14 *** optimization of the surface microstructure and the increase of the mechanical properties effectively enhance the wear resistance of the sample,with 41.20%,39.07%,and 54.58% of the wear scar areas for the 2D-USBP treated samples to the original samples under 5,10,and 15 N loads,*** gradient nanostructure hinders the slip of dislocations inside the sample during the wear process and reduces the size and scope of plastic deformation;meanwhile,the resistance to deformation,adhesion,and crack initiation and propagation of the sample surface is improved,resul.ing in enhanced wear resistance.

Upland crop-rice cropping systems(UCR)facilitate sustainable agricultural *** UCR cul.ivation mapping is needed to ensure food security,sustainable water management,and rural ***,datasets describing cropping systems are limited in spatial coverage and crop *** UCR is more challenging than crop identification and most existing approaches rely heavily on accurate phenology calendars and representative training samples,which limits its applications over large *** describe a novel algorithm(RRSS)for automatic mapping of upland crop-rice cropping systems using Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)and Sentinel-2 Mul.ispectral.instrument(MSi)*** indicator,the VV backscatter range,was proposed to discriminate UCR and another two indicators were designed by coupling greenness and pigment indices to further discriminate tobacco or oilseed *** RRSS algorithm was applied to South China characterized by complex smallholder rice cropping systems and diverse topographic *** study developed 10-m UCR maps of a major rice bowl.in South China,the Xiang-Gan-Min(XGM)*** performance of the RRSS algorithm was validated based on 5197 ground-truth reference sites,with an overall accuracy of 91.92%.There were7348 km^(2) areas of UCR,roughly one-half of them located in *** UCR was represented mainly by oilseed-UCR and tobacco-UCR,which contributed respectively 69%and 15%of UCR *** patterns accounted for only one-tenth of rice production,which can be tripled by intensification from single rice *** to complex and fragmented subtropical regions suggested the spatiotemporal robustness of the RRSS algorithm,which could be further applied to generate 10-m UCR datasets for application at national or global scales.

Co-seismic landslide detection is essential for post-disaster rescue and risk assessment after an earthquake ***,a variety of ground objects,including roads and bare land,have spectral characteristics similar to those of co-seismic landslides,making it difficult to gather information and assess their impact rapidly and ***,an automatic detection method based on a deep learning model,named ENViNet5,with mul.iple features(ENViNet5_MF)was proposed to solve this problem and improve the detection accuracy of co-seismic *** ENViNet5_MF method is advantageous for co-seismic landslide detection because it features a landslide gain index(l.i)that effectively eliminates the spectral.interference of bare land and *** conducted two experiments using mul.i-temporal PlanetScope images acquired in Hokkaido,Japan,and Mainling,*** accuracy evaluation and rationality analysis show that ENViNet5_MF performed better than comparative methods and that the co-seismic landslide areas detected by ENViNet5_MF were the most consistent with ground reference *** findings of this study suggest that ENViNet5_MF can provide an efficient and accurate method for coseismic landslide detection to ensure a rapid response to co-seismic landslide disasters.
