AIM:To investigate the association between central serous chorioretinopathy(CSC)and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)by summarizing all available evidence.METHODS:The Scopus,Embase,EBSCO,PubMed,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library databases for all relevant studies published from inception to October 2022 were searched,and manually searched for relevant reference lists as a supplement.Studies investigating the association between CSC and Hp infection were included.Finally,8 case-control studies were included in the Meta-analysis after study selection.RESULTS:The results showed no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC[odds ratio(OR)1.89,95%confidential interval(CI)0.58–6.15,I2=96%,P=0.29].After subgroup analysis based on the degree of development of the study(developing/developed countries),it was found that the results of the two subgroups were the same as the whole,and no significant difference between the two subgroups existed.Meta-regression showed that the effect of sample size on heterogeneity among studies was more prominent(P<0.01,adjusted R^(2)=89.72%),which can explain 89.72%of the sources of heterogeneity.CONCLUSION:This Meta-analysis reveals no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC,which still warrants further well-designed extensive sample studies to reach a more reliable conclusion and promote a better understanding of the treatment of CSC.

The rapidity and accuracy of the initial alignment influence the performance of the strapdown inertial navigation system(SINS),compass alignment is one of the most important methods for initial alignment.The selection of the parameters of the compass alignment loop directly affects the result of alignment.Nevertheless,the optimal parameters of the compass loop of different SINS are also different Traditionally,the alignment parameters are determined by experience and trial-and-error,thus it cannot ensure that the parameters are optimal.In this paper,the Genetic Algorithm-Particle Swarm Optimization(GA-PSO) algorithm is proposed to optimize the compass alignment parameters so as to improve the performance of the initial alignment of strapdown gyrocompass.The experiment results showed that the GA-PSO algorithm can find out the optimal parameters of the compass alignment circuit quickly and accurately and proved the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Background:Dry eye is a chronic inflammatory disease of the ocular surface that is caused by multiple factors,characterized by pain,visual disturbance,and ocular damage.It is a common ophthalmic disease worldwide and a hot research field for scholars both domestically and internationally.This article employs network pharmacology methods to analyze the mechanism of Chrysanthemum in treating dry eye,which is a promising approach.Methods:The TCMSP(http://***/tcmsp.php)was used to screen for candidate active ingredient molecules of chrysanthemum with oral bioavailability≥30%and drug similarity to chrysanthemum≥0.18 as parameters.The active ingredients of chrysanthemum were searched using the“Related Targets”column in the TCMSP,followed by target prediction.Subsequently,Cytoscape 3.6.0 was employed to construct a compound-target network for chrysanthemum.The Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man and DisGeNET databases were used to identify pathogenic genes associated with dry eye.Furthermore,the STRING database was used to construct an interaction network and bar graph of intersecting target proteins in chrysanthemum to analyze protein interactions and core targets.To obtain key targets of active ingredients of chrysanthemum for treating dry eye,active ingredients targets of chrysanthemum and dry eye targets were intersected using Venny.Finally,a drug-active ingredient-key target-disease network was constructed.Gene Ontology functional annotation of key targets was performed using the WEBGESTALT database,and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment was performed using the REACTOM database.Results:Eighty active ingredients of chrysanthemum corresponding to targets were obtained.Among active ingredients,508 predicted targets were identified,along with 4180 genes associated with dry eye and 45 key targets of chrysanthemum for treating dry eye.The functions of key targets primarily include regulation of gene expression,oxidative stress,immune response,apoptosis,proliferation,regulation of cellular inflamma

Objective:To explore the molecular mechanism of Mimenghua Granules in treating dry eye based on network pharmacology and bioinformatics methods.Methods:Screening and prediction of possible blood-inducing active ingredients and action target of Mimenghua Granules through Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology database and analysis platform;mining dry eye-related diseases through disease gene database,gene target;use the functional protein combined network database STRING to draw the component-target and disease-target PPI networks,and extract the intersection of these two networks;use DAVID database analysis to screen key targets and analyze the mechanism of action.Results:A total of 593 active ingredients related to Mimenghua Granules were retrieved from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology database,and 59 blood active ingredients were obtained by screening based on pharmacokinetic parameters,and 680 targets related to these ingredients were retrieved;from disease genes,the database searches for 47 genes directly related to dry eye;3 key genes(ICAM1,IFNG,and IL-6)were obtained after the intersection of the component target and disease target PPI network;these genes are mainly involved in natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity,Jak-STAT signaling pathway,and Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction.Conclusion:The mechanism of Mimenghua Granules in treating dry eye is related to the interaction of cytotoxic pathway,Jak-STAT signal pathway,and cytokines.The key gene targets are ICAM1,IFNG,and IL-6.

BACKGROUND Diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)has been developed to stage liver fibrosis.However,its diagnostic performance is inconsistent among studies.Therefore,it is worth studying the diagnostic value of various diffusion models for liver fibrosis in one cohort.AIM To evaluate the clinical potential of six diffusion-weighted models in liver fibrosis staging and compare their diagnostic performances.METHODS This prospective study enrolled 59 patients suspected of liver disease and scheduled for liver biopsy and 17 healthy participants.All participants underwent multi-b value DWI.The main DWI-derived parameters included Mono-apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)from mono-exponential DWI,intravoxel incoherent motion model-derived true diffusion coefficient(IVIM-D),diffusion kurtosis imaging-derived apparent diffusivity(DKI-MD),stretched exponential model-derived distributed diffusion coefficient(SEM-DDC),fractional order calculus(FROC)model-derived diffusion coefficient(FROC-D)and FROC model-derived microstructural quantity(FROC-μ),and continuous-time random-walk(CTRW)model-derived anomalous diffusion coefficient(CTRW-D)and CTRW model-derived temporal diffusion heterogeneity index(CTRW-α).The correlations between DWI-derived parameters and fibrosis stages and the parameters’diagnostic efficacy in detecting significant fibrosis(SF)were assessed and compared.RESULTS CTRW-D(r=-0.356),CTRW-α(r=-0.297),DKI-MD(r=-0.297),FROC-D(r=-0.350),FROC-μ(r=-0.321),IVIM-D(r=-0.251),Mono-ADC(r=-0.362),and SEM-DDC(r=-0.263)were significantly correlated with fibrosis stages.The areas under the ROC curves(AUCs)of the combined index of the six models for distinguishing SF(0.697-0.747)were higher than each of the parameters alone(0.524-0.719).The DWI models’ability to detect SF was similar.The combined index of CTRW model parameters had the highest AUC(0.747).CONCLUSION The DWI models were similarly valuable in distinguishing SF in patients with liver disease.The combined index of CTRW parameters had the highest AUC.

As far as we known, with white powdery tungstic acid （WPTA） used as the dopant for the first time, tungsten-doped vanadium dioxide （VO2） nanopowders were synthesized through thermolysis at low temperature. The products were characterized by XRD, TEM and DSC. When WPTA was added into V205 （with W/V = 2 atom %）, the phase transition temperature （Tc） of VO2 decreased markedly from 67.15℃ to 26.46℃ after annealing at 500℃. Such a low Tc is beneficial to the application and development of smart windows materials.

To design a propeller for ship power plant,the interaction between ship hull and propeller must be taken into account.The main concern is to apply the wake effect of ship stern on the propeller performance.In this paper,a coupled BEM(Boundary Element Method)/RANS(Renolds-Averaged Navier−Stokes)solver is used to simulate propeller behind the hull in the self-propulsion test.The motivation of this work is to develop a practical tool to design marine propulsion system without suffering long computational time.An unsteady boundary element method which is also known as panel method is chosen to estimate the propeller forces.Propeller wakes are treated using a time marching wake alignment method.Also,a RANS code coupled with VoF equation is developed to consider the ship motions and wake field effects in the problem.A coupling algorithm is developed to interchange ship wake field to the potential flow solver and propeller thrust to the RANS code.Based on the difference between hull resistance and the propeller thrust,a PI controller is developed to compute the propeller RPM in every time step.Verification of the solver is carried out using the towing tank test report of a 50 m oceanography research vessel.Wake factor and trust deduction coefficient are estimated numerically.Also,the wake rollup pattern of the propeller in open water is compared with the propeller in real wake field.

Molecular surface functionalization of In_(2)O_(3) to tune interfacial microenvironment for enhanced catalytic performance of CO_(2) electroreduction

Indium-based materials(e.g.,In_(2)O_(3))are a class of promising non-noble metal-based catalysts for electroreduction of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)).However,competitive hydrogen reduction reaction(HER)on indium-based catalysts hampers CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)process.We herein tune the interfacial microenvironment of In_(2)O_(3) through chemical graft of alkyl phosphoric acid molecules using a facile solution-processed strategy for the first time,which is distinguished from other researches that tailor intrinsic activity of In_(2)O_(3) themselves.The surface functionalization of alkyl phosphoric acids over In_(2)O_(3) is demonstrated to remarkably boost CO_(2) conversion.For example,octadecylphosphonic acid modified In_(2)O_(3) exhibits Faraday efficiency for H_(2) H_(2) H_(2)(FE)of as low as 6.6%and FEHCOOH of 86.5%at-0.67 V vs.RHE,which are far superior to parent In_(2)O_(3) counterparts(FE of 24.0%and FEHCOOH of 63.1%).Moreover,the enhancing effect of alkyl phosphoric acid functionalization is found to be closely related to the length of alkyl chains.By virtue of comprehensive experimental characterizations and molecular dynamics simulations,it is revealed that the modification of alkyl phosphoric acids significantly alters the interface microenvironment of the electrocatalyst,which changes the electrocatalyst surface from hydrophilic and aerophobic to hydrophobic and aerophilic.In this case,the water molecules are pushed away and more CO_(2) molecules are trapped,increasing local CO_(2) concentration at In_(2)O_(3) active sites,thus leading to the significantly enhanced CO_(2)RR and suppressed HER.This work highlights the importance of regulating the interfacial microenvironment of inorganic catalysts by molecular surface functionalization as a means for promoting the electrochemical performance in electrosynthesis and beyond.

The response of structure and nitrogen removal function of the biofilm on submerged macrophytes to high ammonium in constructed wetlands

The ammonium exceedance discharge from sewage treatment plants has a great risk to the stable operation of subsequent constructed wetlands(CWs).The effects of high ammonium shocks on submerged macrophytes and epiphytic biofilms on the leaves of submerged macrophytes in CWs were rarely mentioned in previous studies.In this paper,the 16S rRNA sequencing method was used to investigate the variation of the microbial communities in biofilms on the leaves of Vallisneria natans plants while the growth characteristics of V.natans plants were measured at different initial ammonium concentrations.The results demonstrated that the total chlorophyll and soluble sugar synthesis of V.natans plants decreased by 51.45%and 57.16%,respectively,and malondialdehyde content increased threefold after8 days if the initial NH_(4)^(+)-N concentration was more than 5 mg/L.Algal density,bacterial quantity,dissolved oxygen,and pH increased with high ammonium shocks.The average removal efficiencies of total nitrogen and NH_(4)^(+)-N reached 73.26%and 83.94%,respectively.The heat map and relative abundance analysis represented that the relative abundances of phyla Proteobacteria,Cyanobacteria,and Bacteroidetes increased.The numbers of autotrophic nitrifiers and heterotrophic nitrification aerobic denitrification(HNAD)bacteria expanded in biofilms.In particular,HNAD bacteria of Flavobacterium,Hydrogenophaga,Acidovorax,Acinetobacter,Pseudomonas,Aeromonas,and Azospira had higher abundances than autotrophic nitrifiers because there were organic matters secreted from declining leaves of V.natans plants.The analysis of the nitrogen metabolic pathway showed aerobic denitrification was the main nitrogen removal pathway.Thus,the nitrification and denitrification bacterial communities increased in epiphytic biofilms on submerged macrophytes in constructed wetlands while submerged macrophytes declined under ammonium shock loading.

Inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)are a group of chronic relapsing gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases with significant global incidence.Although the pathomechanism of IBD has been extensively investigated,several aspects of its pathogenesis remain unclear.Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are transcripts with more than 200 nucleotides in length that have potential protein-coding functions.LncRNAs play important roles in biological processes such as epigenetic modification,transcriptional regulation and posttranscriptional regulation.In this review,we summarize recent advances in research on IBD-related lncRNAs from the perspective of the overall intestinal microenvironment,as well as their potential roles as immune regulators,diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets or agents for IBD.
