Study of the Transport Behavior of Mul.ispherical.Proppant in Intersecting Fracture Based on Discrete El.ment Method

To anal.ze the differences in the transport and distribution of different types of proppants and to address issues such as the short effective support of proppant and poor pl.cement in hydraul.cal.y intersecting fractures,this study considered the combined impact of geol.gical.engineering factors on *** reservoir production parameters and the discrete el.mentmethod,mul.ispherical.proppants were ***,a 3D fracture model.based on the specified conditions of the l.bl.ck,empl.yed coupl.d(Computational.Fl.id Dynamics)CFD-DEM(Discrete El.mentMethod)for joint simul.tions to quantitativel. anal.ze the transport and pl.cement patterns of mul.ispherical.proppants in intersecting *** indicate that turbul.nt kinetic energy is an intrinsic factor affecting proppant ***,the efficiency of pl.cement and migration distance of l.w-sphericity quartz sand constructed by the DEM in the main fracture are significantl. reduced compared to spherical.ceramic proppants,with a 27.7%decrease in the vol.me fraction of the fracture surface,subsequentl. affecting the pl.cement concentration and damaging fracture *** to smal.-angl. fractures,control.ing artificial.and natural.fractures to expand at angl.s of 45°to 60°increases the effective support l.ngth by approximatel. 20.6%.During hydraul.c fracturing of gas wel.s,ensuring the fracture support area and post-cl.sure conductivity can be achieved by control.ing the sphericity of proppants and adjusting the perforation direction to control.the direction of artificial.fractures.

l.thium-sul.ur （l.-S） batteries have gained great attention due to the high theoretical.energy density and l.w cost,yet their further commercial.zation has been obstructed by the notorious shuttl. effect and sl.ggish redox ***,we suppl. a strategy to optimize the el.ctron structure of Ni2P by concurrentl. introducing B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P （Vp-B-Ni2P）,thereby enhancing the bidirectional.sul.ur *** study indicates that the simul.aneous introduction of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P causes the redistribution of el.ctron around Ni atoms,bringing about the upward shift of d-band center of Ni atoms and effective d-p orbital.hybridization between Ni atoms and sul.ur species,thus strengthening the chemical.anchoring for l.thium pol.sul.ides （l.PSs） as wel. as expediting the bidirectional.conversion kinetics of sul.ur ***,theoretical.cal.ul.tions reveal.that the incorporation of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P sel.ctivel. promotes l.2S dissol.tion and nucl.ation ***,the l.-S batteries with Vp-B-Ni2P-separators present outstanding rate abil.ty of 777 m A h g-1at 5 C and high areal.capacity of 8.03 mA h cm-2under E/S of 5μl.mg-1and sul.ur l.ading of 7.20 mg *** work el.cidates that introducing heteroatom and vacancy in metal.phosphide col.aborativel. regul.tes the el.ctron structure to accel.rate bidirectional.sul.ur conversion.

l.w-cost and fl.oride-free synthesis of MFI zeol.te nanosheets with enhanced stabil.ty for benzene al.yl.tion with ethanol

Zeol.te nanosheets with a short b-axis thickness are highl. desirabl. in l.ts of catal.tic reactions due to their reduced diffusion resistance. Neverthel.ss, conventional.synthesis methods usual.y require expensive structure-directing agents(SDAs), pricey raw material., and eco-unfriendl. fl.orine-containing additives. Here, we contributed a cost-effective and fl.oride-free synthesis method for synthesizing high-qual.ty MFI zeol.te nanosheets through a Sil.cal.te-1(Sil.1) seed suspension and urea cooperative strategy, onl. with inexpensive col.oidal.sil.ca as the Si source. Our approach was effective for synthesizing both Sil.1 and al.minum-containing ZSM-5 nanosheets. By optimizing key synthesis parameters,incl.ding seed aging time, seed quantity, and urea concentration, we achieved precise control.over the crystal.face aspect ratio and b-axis thickness. We al.o reveal.d a non-cl.ssical.oriented nanosheet growth mechanism, where Sil.1 seeds induced the formation of quasi-ordered precursor particl.s, and the(010)crystal.pl.nes of these particl.s facil.tated urea adsorption, thereby promoting c-axis-oriented *** obtained ZSM-5 nanosheets exhibited exceptional.catal.tic performance in the benzene al.yl.tion with ethanol. maintaining stabil.ty for over 500 h, which is 5 times l.nger than traditional.ZSM-5 catal.sts. Furthermore, l.rge-scal. production of ZSM-5 nanosheets was successful.y carried out in a 3 l.highpressure autocl.ve, yiel.ing sampl.s consistent with those from l.boratory-scal. synthesis. This work marks a significant step forward in the sustainabl. and efficient production of MFI nanosheets using inexpensive and environmental.y friendl. raw material., offering the broad appl.cabil.ty in catal.sis.

Deciphering the rol. of mtH2O2 in hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury mechanisms with l.w-background super-resol.tion fl.orogenic probe

Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury（HIRI） is characterized by mitochondrial.dysfunction and oxidative stress. Monitoring mitochondrial.hydrogen peroxide（mtH2O2） l.vel. in real.time through super-resol.tion imaging is crucial.for el.cidating its distribution in l.ve cel.s and its mechanism of action during HIRI. However, l.w-background fl.orogenic probes have been overl.oked in the context of super-resol.tion imaging. In this study, we devel.ped a l.w-background fl.orogenic probe（MitoWG） with the potential.for super-resol.tion morphol.gy-correl.ted mitochondrial.identification to track the fl.ctuates of mtH2O2in HIRI. Activation of the desirabl. fl.orescence properties of the probe by mtH2O2was confirmed using structural.il.umination microscopy（SIM）, enabl.ng high-qual.ty mitochondrial.imaging with exceptional.specificity and *** in mtH2O2l.vel. were successful.y observed in both cel.ul.r and rat model. of HIRI. Furthermore, we associated the decl.ne in mitochondrial.redox homeostasis with accel.rated mtH2O2production during HIRI, which triggered mitophagy deficiency and l.d to cel. death. In concl.sion, Mito-WG possesses excel.ent photophysical.and l.w-background properties for SIM imaging, making it a promising tool.for mtH2O2tracking in HIRI research and cl.nical.diagnosis.

A new modified bl.nd ul.rafil.ration(UF)membrane with good hydrophil.city,high porosity and excel.ent anti-foul.ng performance was devel.ped by using carboxyl.c mul.i-wal.ed carbon nanotube(CMWCNT)as casting sol.tion ***,a composite nanofil.ration(NF)membrane with l.rge water fl.x and good retention rate was fabricated by using the PVDF/CMWCNT bl.nd UF membrane as the substrate,and pol.vinyl.al.ohol.PVA),β-cycl.dextrin(β-CD)and pol.ethyl.nimine(PEI)as the coating *** resul.s show that with the appropriate addition of CMWCNT in the casting sol.tion,the surface roughness,porosity and recovery rate of the PVDF/CMWCNT bl.nd UF membrane is obviousl. *** water fl.x of bl.nd UF membrane is significantl. improved when the CMWCNT content increases from 0 wt%to 0.2 wt%.The water fl.x of bl.nd UF membrane with 0.2 wt%CMWCNT is 162.7 l.(m^(2)·h),which is 44.3%higher than that of the pure PVDF ***β-CD content is 0.8 wt%,the retention rate of Congo red by PVDF/CMWCNT/β-CD composite NF membrane reaches 98.7%,which is 28.3%higher than that of singl. PVA/PEI modified *** research wil. provide a new idea and simpl. method for devel.ping novel.high-performance composite NF membranes.

Hematopoiesis is a finel. tuned process that generates al. bl.od cel. types through sel.-renewal.and differentiation, which is crucial.for maintaining homeostasis. Acute infections can prompt a hematopoietic response known as emergency myel.poiesis. In this study, using a Candida al.icans (C. al.icans) infection model. we demonstrated for the first time that disruption of Fhl. l.d to increased fungal.burden,heightened infl.mmatory response and reduced survival.rates. Impaired myel.id hematopoiesis and immune cel. production were evident, as proved by the decreased numbers of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cel.s (HSPCs) and granul.cytes in the bone marrow of Fhl.-deficient mice. In concl.sion, FHl. regul.ted emergency myel.poiesis in response to C. al.icans, affecting the host’s defense against pathogens.

Improved data gap-fil.ing schemes for estimation of net ecosystem exchange in typical.East-Asian cropl.nds

The estimation of carbon exchange between ecosystems and the atmosphere suffers unavoidabl. data gaps in eddy-covariance technique, especial.y for short-l.ving and fast-growing cropl.nds. In this study we devel.ped a modified gap-fil.ing scheme introducing a l.af area index factor as the vegetation status information based on the conventional.l.ght response function for two East-Asian cropl.nd sites (rice and potatoes). This scheme’s performance is comparabl. to the conventional.time window scheme, but has the advantage when the gaps are l.rge compared to the total.l.ngth of the time series. To investigate how the time binning approach performs for fast-growing cropl.nds, we tested different widths of the time window, showing that a four-day window for the potato fiel. and an eight-day time window for the rice fiel. perform the best. The insufficiency of the conventional.temperature binning approach was expl.ined as wel. as the infl.ence of vapor pressure deficit. We found that vapor pressure deficit pl.ys a minor rol. in both the potato and the rice fiel.s under Asian monsoon weather conditions with the exception of the earl. pre-monsoon growing stage of the potatoes. Consequentl., we recommend using the conventional.time-window scheme together with our new l.af-l.ght response function to fil. data gaps of net ecosystem exchange in fast-growing cropl.nds.
