To design a propeller for ship power plant,the interaction between ship hull and propeller must be taken into *** main concern is to apply the wake effect of ship stern on the propeller *** this paper,a coupled BEM(Boundary Element Method)/RANS(Renolds-Averaged Navier−Stokes)solver is used to simulate propeller behind the hull in the self-propulsion *** motivation of this work is to develop a practical tool to design marine propulsion system without suffering long computational *** unsteady boundary element method which is also known as panel method is chosen to estimate the propeller *** wakes are treated using a time marching wake alignment ***,a RANS code coupled with VoF equation is developed to consider the ship motions and wake field effects in the problem.A coupling algorithm is developed to interchange ship wake field to the potential flow solver and propeller thrust to the RANS *** on the difference between hull resistance and the propeller thrust,a PI controller is developed to compute the propeller RPM in every time *** of the solver is carried out using the towing tank test report of a 50 m oceanography research *** factor and trust deduction coefficient are estimated ***,the wake rollup pattern of the propeller in open water is compared with the propeller in real wake field.

Structural superlubricity(SSL) refers to a state of ultralow friction and zero wear when two solid surfaces slide against each other. Recent investigations have identified amorphous carbon at the edge of the graphite mesa as the primary source of friction in such SSL systems. Here, the tensile stress of metal thin film is exploited to engineer vertically conductive edge-warping graphite mesas(EWGM). Through this approach, robust SSL performance is realized, demonstrated by sliding an 8 μm side length square EWGM on an atomically smooth Au substrate for 10000 cycles at a constant voltage of 1 m V. In this SSL system,differential friction coefficients lower than 1.5 × 10^(-4) are achieved, with static contact resistance between EWGM and Au substrate as low as 28Ω and sliding contact resistance as low as 32Ω. Moreover, the EWGM exhibits SSL behavior on polished Si wafer substrates. Furthermore, because of the no-edge contact with the substrate during sliding, friction is independent of the sliding speed of the EWGM. This study presents the first successful fabrication of conductive EWGM. Remarkably, in both EWGM-Au and EWGM-Si SSL systems, the measured frictions are more than one order of magnitude lower than those of ordinary self-retracting graphite mesas with no-edge warping, and no wear is observed during extended current-carrying ***, these findings establish a solid groundwork for the future realization of macroscale conductive SSL systems.

Low-densityδ-quenching and partitioning(δ-QP)steels with excellent strength and ductility have been recently ***,there are still rare reports on the formability of δ-QP steels,which are critical for satisfying the manufacture of structural parts during the application in automotive *** the present work,an 1180 MPa Fe–Mn–Al–C–Nbδ-QP steel with a high ductility was adopted for the stretch–flangeability ***δ-QP steel was developed by separated quenching and partitioning processes.A good hole expansion ratio(HER)of 34.9±0.9%was obtained in the quenched steel,but it has been further increased to 52.2%by the tempering *** improved stretch–flangeability was attributed to the enhanced austenite stability and deformation *** the one hand,the stability of austenite was increased by carbon partitioning during tempering,which reduced crack possibility via the suppression of the fresh martensite *** the other hand,the tempering treatment released the internal stress caused by martensitic transformation and reduced the difference in strength among different phases,resulting in an increase in the resistance to crack initiation and propagation.

Climate change alters the intensity and frequency of drought and rewetting(D/W)events;however,the influence patterns of D/W on soil N_(2)O efflux in the water-limited area were not fully ***,the impacts of D/W cycles varying in different extent of rewetting and frequency to N_(2)O efflux in two kinds of soil on the Loess Plateau were *** incubation conditions consisted of 1)D/W treatments with four 7-day cycles from 10%water holding capacity(WHC)to 60%WHC or 90%WHC,2)constant moisture of 60%WHC and 90%*** pulse of N_(2)O efflux rate under 10-60%WHC treatment was higher than that under 10-90%WHC treatment in calcic cambisols,while opposite trend was observed in earth-cumuli-orthic ***,the pulse of N_(2)O efflux rate decreased as cycle number increased for different wetting intensities and soil *** direct N_(2)O efflux under 10-60%WHC and 10-90%WHC treatments were 5.49 and 1.89μg N_(2)O-N g^(-1)soil in calcic cambisols,with those being 1.92 and 10.85μg N_(2)O-N g^(-1)soil in earth-cumuli-orthic anthrosols,*** N loss in earth-cumuli-orthic anthrosols was approximately 5.74 times greater than that in calcic cambisols under 10-90%WHC treatment,whereas the N loss under 10-60%WHC treatment was about 2.86 times greater in calcic cambisols than that in earth-cumuli-orthic *** study suggested that extreme rainfall events can enhance the N_(2)O efflux and N loss in agricultural soils on the Loess Plateau in terms of soil type and wetting intensity,which should not be ignored in the N fertilizer management.

Organocatalytic cascade reactions represent a powerful strategy for the rapid construction of complex chiral molecules with multiple stereocenters from simple substrates under mild conditions. The intriguing structural feature and diverse reactivity of catalytically generated dienolate species render them competent and versatile intermediates for the development of practical and valuable cascade reactions. Over the past years, a plethora of innovative and pioneering noncovalent ammonium dienolatemediated cascade reactions have been designed and implemented under the catalysis of chiral organocatalysts, making dienolate activation a general, robust, and complementary method for the functionalization of unsaturated carbonyl compounds and related substances. This review illustrates the recent advances in organocatalytic noncovalent ammonium dienolate-mediated cascade reactions(mainly from 2010 to 2023), including the cascade transformations of ammonium dienolates directly generated from unsaturated ketone/aldehyde, ester/lactone/azlactone, amide/lactam/pyrazolone/oxindole, and alkylidene nitrile compounds. The contents are arranged based on the reaction types of the ammonium dienolates, with an emphasis on cascade 2,5-, 3,5-, and 4,5-difunctionalizations of these intermediates. Furthermore, other cascade reactions involving the 1,3-, 2,3-, and even more complex 3,4,5-reactivities of ammonium dienolates were also discussed. The reaction pathway, reaction stereoinduction, and synthetic applications of the ammonium dienolate-mediated cascade reactions were highlighted throughout the article. As a stimulating and ever-growing research area, the organocatalytic noncovalent ammonium dienolate-mediated cascade reactions are expected to continue demonstrating their magic power for constructing chiral targets in the future and further expanding the boundaries of asymmetric catalysis.

Objective:To explore effect of calcium citrate on bone integration in a rabbit femur defect model, and to compare the bone formation with different sizes by radiological and histological study. Methods:Twenty-four male Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups (Group A.B.C)in this *** anesthesia,defects of four sizes(1.2,1.5,2.0 and 2.5 mm) were created in each of the *** pure calcium citrate powder was placed inside the medullary compartment of the femur(Experimental),while in the contralateral femur(Control) nothing was *** defects were analyzed using radiography and histological analysis by using Imagepro-Plus 6.0 software after animal was sacrificed at 4th(Group A),6th(Group B) and 8th(Group C) weeks *** samples were analyzed for each size of defect and each healing ***:The histological and the radiologic evaluation were performed after sacrification of all rabbits on postoperative 4th and 6th weeks,It showed significant difference between the experimental group and the control group when these defects were less than or equal to 2.0 *** statistical difference was observed when these defects were larger than 2.0 mm at all healing periods except at the 4th ***:Calcium citrate affects the early periods of hone defects healing mechanism in Japanese white rabbits positively,especially when the defect is not too large,We suggest further studies on calcium citrate to determine the effects of various dosages,administration ways and the experimental time on the bone defects.

TO SEE THE WORLD IN A GRAIN OF *** microscopy has proved to be essential for seeing life in a grain of a *** epifluorescence microscopes,such as wide-field microscopes and laser scanning confocal microscopes,have been widely used for biology research over the past few *** goal of fluorescence microscopy is to observe the structure and function of cellular events across time and threedimensional(3D)space with spatiotemporal resolution as high as ***,conventional epifluorescence microscopes illuminate the entire 3D volume of the sample while detecting signals only from the 2D focal plane,thereby leading to low photon utilization and high phototoxicity issues that notably prevent high-resolution imaging of live biological specimens(Figure 1A).It becomes increasingly noteworthy that the massively emerging biomedical applications are posing significant challenges to current fluorescence microscopy techniques.
