An Innovative Deep Architecture for Flight Safety Risk Assessment Based on Time Series Data

With the development of the integration of aviation safety and artificial intelligence,research on the combination of risk assessment and artificial intelligence is particularly important in the field of risk management,but searching for an efficient and accurate risk assessment algorithm has become a challenge for the civil aviation ***,an improved risk assessment algorithm(PS-AE-LSTM)based on long short-term memory network(LSTM)with autoencoder(AE)is proposed for the various supervised deep learning algorithms in flight safety that cannot adequately address the problem of the quality on risk level ***,based on the normal distribution characteristics of flight data,a probability severity(PS)model is established to enhance the quality of risk assessment ***,autoencoder is introduced to reconstruct the flight parameter data to improve the data ***,utilizing the time-series nature of flight data,a long and short-termmemory network is used to classify the risk level and improve the accuracy of risk ***,a risk assessment experimentwas conducted to analyze a fleet landing phase dataset using the PS-AE-LSTMalgorithm to assess the risk level associated with aircraft hard landing *** results show that the proposed algorithm achieves an accuracy of 86.45%compared with seven baseline models and has excellent risk assessment capability.

Application of meshless method to electromagnetic NDT

In this paper, a meshless method is introduced for NDT computation. Compared with the conventional FEM, it can avoid the onerous mesh generation and updating, only a distribution of points and the description of the boundaries are needed. The mathematical background for moving least square approximation employed in the method is given, and the numerical implementation is discussed. Application of the method for MFL computation and comparison with the results from FEM are also presented.

Semiconducting conjugated polymer nanoparticles(SPNs)represent an emerging class of phototheranostic materi-als with great promise for cancer *** this report,low-bandgap electron donoracceptor(DA)-conjugated SPNs with sur-face cloaked by red blood cell membrane(RBCM)are developed for highly e ective photoacoustic imaging and photothermal *** resulting RBCM-coated SPN(SPN@RBCM)displays remarkable near-infrared light absorption and good photosta-bility,as well as high photothermal conver-sion e ciency for photoacoustic imaging and photothermal ***,due to the small size(<5 nm),SPN@RBCM has the advantages of deep tumor penetration and rapid clearance from the body with no appreciable *** RBCM endows the SPNs with prolonged systematic circulation time,less reticuloendothelial system uptake and reduced immune-recognition,hence improving tumor accumulation after intravenous injection,which provides strong photoacoustic signals and exerts excellent photothermal therapeutic e ***,this work provides a valuable paradigm for safe and highly e cient tumor pho-toacoustic imaging and photothermal therapy for further clinical translation.

CuS-PNIPAm nanoparticles with the ability to initiatively capture bacteria for photothermal treatment of infected skin

Copper sulfide nanoparticles(CuS NPs)have shown great potential in various application fields,especially in biomedical engineering *** NPs,with the ability to actively capture and kill bacteria and without the worry of biocompatibility,will greatly expand their ***,a four-arm star thermosensitive polyisopropylacrylamide(4sPNIPAm)was used to modify CuS NPs(CuS-PNIPAm NPs).The obtained NPs displayed the controlled release of copper ions and higher photothermal conversion ability in comparison with contrast materials CuS-PEG NPs and CuS *** of CuS-PNIPAm NPs at above 34℃resulted in capturing bacteria by forming the aggregates of *** Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli co-cultured with CuS-PNIPAm NPs were completely killed upon near-infrared irradiation in ***,CuS-PNIPAm NPs were verified to be a photothermal agent without toxic *** in vivo experiment,the NPs effectively killed the bacteria in the wound and accelerated the process of wound ***,photothermal treatment by CuS-PNIPAm NPs demonstrates the ability to actively capture and kill bacteria,and has a potential in the treatment of infected skin and the regeneration of skin *** therapy will exert a far-reaching impact on the regeneration of stubborn chronic wounds.

As a research focus, energy conservation has attracted a great deal of attention in recent years due to the energy crisis and environmental pollution concerns. Many countries made great efforts on both research and implementing energy conservation technologies. Cur- rently more than 50% of the total world＇s delivered energy is consumed by industry and about one sixth of the total energy consumed is wasted as low-grade heat, for example through radiation loss, exhaust gas flows, and cooling fluid circuits. Therefore, the recovery and reuse of waste heat is an effective way to significantly improve energy utilization. In addition, solar energy can provide low grade heat and is a clean and renewable form of energy. The efficient use of low grade heat from these sources can play an important role for a large number of applications.

Highly efficient Zr doped-TiO_2/glass fiber photocatalyst and its performance in formaldehyde removal under visible light

Zr-doped-TiO2 loaded glass fiber（ZT/GF） composite photocatalysts with different Zr/Ti ratios were prepared with a sol–gel process. Zr4＋can replace Ti4＋in the TiO2 lattice, which is conducive to forming the anatase phase and reducing the calcination temperature. The glass fiber carrier was responsible for better dispersion and loading of Zr-doped-TiO2 particles, improving the applicability of the Zr-doped-TiO2. The ZT/GF photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microscope（SEM）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR）, ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy（UV–vis） and Barrett–Joyner–Halenda（BJH）. The performance of photocatalysts with different loading was evaluated in formaldehyde degradation under visible light at room temperature. ZT/GF0.2exhibited the highest activity, with a formaldehyde removal rate as high as 95.14% being observed, which is better than that of the photocatalyst particles alone. The stability of the catalyst was also tested, and ZT/GF exhibited excellent catalytic performance with 94.38%removal efficiency, even after seven uses.

Vehicle-bridge coupled vibrations in different types of cable stayed bridges

Numerical analyses of the coupled vibrations of vehicle-bridge system and the effects of different types of cable stayed bridges on the coupled vibration responses have been presented in this paper using ANSYS. The bridge model and vehicle model were independently built which have no internal relationship in the ANSYS. The vehicle-bridge coupled vibration relationship was obtained by using the APDL program which subsequently imposed on the vehicle and bridge models during the numerical analysis. The proposed model was validated through a field measurements and literature data. The judging method, possibility, and criterion of the vehicle-bridge resonance （coupled vibrations） of cable stayed bridges （both the floating system and half floating system） under traffic flows were presented. The results indicated that the interval time between vehicles is the main influence factor on the resonance excitation frequency under the condition of equally spaced traffic flows. Compared to other types of cable stayed bridges, the floating bridge system has relatively high possibility to cause vehicle-bridge resonance.

One-step exfoliation and deprotonation of ANF/BNNS suspension for constructing 3D vertically aligned skeleton in epoxy-based thermal management composites

Two-dimensional(2D)boron nitride nanosheet(BNNS)is promising in polymer-based thermal management materials(TMMs)by pre-constructing three-dimensional(3D)thermally conductive skeleton,but it yet suffers from the challenges of higheffective exfoliation and affinitive compatibility with *** this work,we developed a one-step exfoliation and deprotonation approach by the high-effective ball milling technique to prepare aramid nanofiber(ANF)/BNNS *** the strong collision/shear effect of ball-milling,micron-level h BN sheets were exfoliated into smaller and thinner BNNS with edge functional groups,meanwhile,poly-p-phenylene terephthalamide(PPTA)fibers were split into ANF by dissociating the intermolecular hydrogen *** importantly,both the exfoliation and deprotonation could be accelerated by each other to achieve a 100%yield of ANF/BNNS suspension with strong hydrogen/covalent bonding interactions between ***,the prepared ANF/BNNS suspension was used to construct 3D vertically aligned ANF/BNNS skeleton by the unidirectional freezing *** obtained epoxy-based composite(EP/ANF/BNNS)revealed excellent thermal conductivity of 2.41 W m^(-1)K^(-1) at 14.9 vol%BNNS loading due to the vertically oriented heat conduction paths and low interfacial thermal resistance in the ***,EP/ANF/BNNS composite showed high thermal stability and extraordinary fire retardancy with dramatically decreased heat release rate(265 W g^(-1)) and total heat release(20.6 kJ g^(-1)).Therefore,this work demonstrates a high-efficient one-step ball-milling exfoliation and deprotonation technique for preparing ANF/BNNS suspension,which reveals an enormous potential in preparing advanced TMMs by constructing 3D thermally conductive skeletons.

Realization of THz dualband absorber with periodic cross-shaped graphene metamaterials
