The vibration disturbance from an external environment affects the machining accuracy of ultra-precision machining *** active vibration-isolation systems(AVIS)have been developed based on static *** a vibration-isolation load changes dynamically during ultra-precision turning lathe machining,the system parameters change,and the efficiency of the active vibration-isolation system based on the traditional control strategy *** solve this problem,this paper proposes a vibration-isolation control strategy based on a genetic algorithm-back propagation neural network-PID control(GA-BP-PID),which can automatically adjust the control parameters according to the machining ***-isolation simulations and experiments based on passive vibration isolation,a PID algorithm,and the GA-BP-PID algorithm under dynamic load machining conditions were *** experimental results demonstrated that the active vibration-isolation control strategy designed in this study could effectively attenuate vibration disturbances in the external environment under dynamic load *** design is reasonable and feasible.

Waste heat recovery of high-temperature granules is one of the most promising sustainable energy supply and carbon reduction ways for industry.A moving bed indirect heat exchanger(MBIHE)with inner-migration was proposed for granular heat *** migration and the enhanced heat transfer induced by two types of agitators(i.e.,agitator with slanted stick A_(s)and with plow-shaped surface A_(p))in the MBIHE are analyzed based on DEM coupled with *** to the effective agitation,the average heat transfer coefficient in the granule side is enhanced to∼3 times compared to that without *** heat recovery efficiency in the moving bed reached more than 70%with the agitations of either A_(s)or A_(p).The heat efficiency of A_(s)is∼7%higher than that of A_(p),but with at least 60%greater rotational *** ensure reliable agitation,the A_(p)is suggested to be adopted in the MBIHE to induce granule migration.

The development of efficient and robust anode materials for stable alkaline seawater electrolysis is severely limited by chlorine evolution reaction and chloride ***,the sulfur-doped cobalt-nickel bimetallic phosphides(CoNiPS)are specifically designed as a pre-catalyst for navigating a surface reconstruction to fabricate the anions(PO^(3-)_(4) and SO^(2-)_(4))-decorated Co(Ni)OOH catalyst(R-CoNiPS)with exceptional durability and high activity for stable alkaline seawater oxidation(ASO).Various experiment techniques together with theoretical simulations both demonstrate that the in situ-generated PO^(3-)_(4) and SO^(2-)_(4) anions on catalyst surface can improve the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity,regulating and stabilizing the catalytic active species Co(Ni)OOH,as well as make a critical role in inhibiting the adsorp-tion of chloride ions and extending the service life of ***,this R-CoNiPS electrode exhi-bits superb OER activity toward AsO and stands out among the non-precious ASO electrocatalysts reported recently,requiring low overpotentials of 420 and 440 mV to attain large current densities of 500 and 1000 mA cm^(-2) in an alkaline natural seawater electrolyte,***,the catalyst displays a negligible chloride corrosion at room temperature during ASO operation(>200 h)at 500 mA cm^(-2).This work opens up a new viewpoint for designing high-activity and durable electrocata-lystsforseawaterelectrolysis.

Chemical short-range orders(CSROs),as the built-in sub-nanoscale entities in a high-/medium-entropy alloy(H/MEA),have aroused an ever-increasing *** multi-principal elements in an H/MEA to form a complex concentrated solution,a variety of sub-systems of species exist to induce the metastable ordered compounds as candidates for ultimate *** issues remain pending on the origin of CSROs as to how to judge if CSRO will form in an H/MEA and particularly,what kind of CSROs would be stably produced if there were multiple ***,the first-principles method,along with the proposed local formation energy calculation in allusion to the atomic-scale chemical heterogeneities,is used to predict the CSRO formation based on the mechanical stability,thermodynamic formation energy,and electronic *** simulations are detailed in an equiatomic ternary VCoNi MEA with three kinds of potential compounds,i.e.,L1_(1),L1_(2),and B2,in the face-centered cubic *** turns out that L1_(1)is stable but hard to grow up so as to become the final CSRO.L1_(1)is further predicted as CSROs in CrCoNi,but unable to form in feCoNi and CrMnfeCoNi *** predictions are consistent with the experimental *** findings shed light on understanding the formation of *** method is applicable to other H/MEAs to design and tailor CSROs by tuning chemical species/contents and thermal processing for high performance.

The drag coefficient,as the most important parameter that characterizes particle dynamics in flows,has been the focus of a large number of *** good predictability is achieved for simple shapes,it is still challenging to accurately predict drag coefficient of complex-shaped particles even under moderate Reynolds number(Re).The problem is that the small-scale shape details of particles can still have considerable impact on the drag coefficient,but these geometrical details cannot be described by single shape *** address this challenge,we leverage modern deep-learning method's ability for pattern recognition,take multiple shape factors as input to better characterize particle-shape details,and use the drag coefficient as *** obtain a high-precision data set,the discrete element method coupled with an improved velocity interpolation scheme of the lattice Boltzmann method is used to simulate and analyze the sedimentation dynamics of polygonal *** different machine-learning models for predicting the drag coefficient are developed and *** results show that our model can well predict the drag coefficient with an average error of less than 5%for *** findings suggest that data-driven models can be an attractive option for the drag-coefficient prediction for particles with complex shapes.

The static and predictable characteristics of cyber systems give attackers an asymmetric advantage in gathering useful information and launching *** reverse this asymmetric advantage,a new defense idea,called Moving Target Defense(MTD),has been proposed to provide additional selectable measures to complement traditional ***,MTD is unable to defeat the sophisticated attacker with f.ngerprint tracking *** overcome this limitation,we go one step beyond and show that the combination of MTD and Deception-based Cyber Defense(DCD)can achieve higher performance than either of *** particular,we first introduce and formalize a novel attacker model named Scan and foothold Attack(SfA)based on cyber kill ***,we develop probabilistic models for SfA defenses to provide a deeper analysis of the theoretical effect under different defense *** models quantify attack success probability and the probability that the attacker will be deceived under various conditions,such as the size of address space,and the number of hosts,attack analysis ***,the experimental results show that the actual defense effect of each strategy almost perfectly follows its probabilistic ***,the defense strategy of combining address mutation and f.ngerprint camouflage can achieve a better defense effect than the single address mutation.

Hearing loss and deafness,as a worldwide disability disease,have been troubling human ***,the auditory organ of the inner ear is highly heterogeneous and has a very limited number of cells,which are largely uncharacterized in ***,with the development and utilization of single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq),researchers have been able to unveil the complex and sophisticated biological mechanisms of various types of cells in the auditory organ at the single-cell level and address the challenges of cellular heterogeneity that are not resolved through by conventional bulk RNA sequencing(bulk RNAseq).Herein,we reviewed the application of scRNA-seq technology in auditory research,with the aim of providing a reference for the development of auditory organs,the pathogenesis of hearing loss,and regenerative *** about spatial transcriptomic scRNA-seq,single-cell based genome,and Live-seq technology will also be discussed.

Chemical modifications of proteins induced by ambient ozone(O_(3))and nitrogen oxides(NOx)are of public health concerns due to their potential to trigger respiratory *** laboratory and environmental exposure systems have been widely used to investigate their relevant mechanism in the *** bovine serum albumin(BSA)as a model protein,we evaluated the two systems and aimed to reduce the uncertainties of both the reactants and products in the corresponding kinetic *** the laboratory simulation system,the generated gaseous pollutants showed negligible *** layers of BSA were coated on the flow tube with protein extraction recovery of 87.4%.for environmental exposure experiment,quartz fiber filter was selected as the upper filter with low gaseous O_(3)(8.0%)and NO_(2)(1.7%)losses,and cellulose acetate filter was appropriate for the lower filter with protein extraction efficiency of 95.2%.The protein degradation process was observed without the exposure to atmospheric oxidants and contributed to the loss of protein monomer mass fractions,while environmental factors(e.g.,molecular oxygen and ultraviolet)may cause greater protein monomer *** on the evaluation,the study exemplarily applied the two systems to protein modification and both showed that O_(3) promotes the protein oligomerization and nitration,while increased temperature can accelerate the oligomerization and increased relative humidity can inhibit the nitration in the environmental exposure *** developed laboratory and environmental systems are suitable for studying protein modifications formed under different atmospheric conditions.A combination of the two will further reveal the actual mechanism of protein modifications.

The construction of lateral p-n junctions is very important and challenging in two-dimensional(2D)semiconductor manufacturing *** researches have demonstrated that vertical p-n junction can be prepared simply by vertical stacking of 2D ***,interface pollution and large area scalability are challenges that are difficult to overcome with vertical stacking *** 2D lateral p-n homojunction is an effective strategy to address these *** selective p-type doping of 2D semiconductors is expected to construct lateral p-n *** this work,we have developed a low-energy ion implantation system that reduces the implanted energy to 300 ***-energy implantation can form a shallow implantation depth,which is more suitable for modulating the electrical and optical properties of 2D ***,we utilize low-energy ion implantation to directly dope nitrogen ions into few-layer WS_(2) and successfully realize a precise regulation for WS_(2) with its conductivity type transforming from n-type to bipolar or even p-type ***,the universality of this method is demonstrated by extending it to other 2D semiconductors,including WSe_(2),SnS_(2) and MoS_(2).Based on this method,a lateral WS_(2) p-n homojunction is fabricated,which exhibits significant rectification characteristics.A photodetector based on p-n junction with photovoltaic effect is also prepared,and the open circuit voltage can reach to 0.39 *** work provides an effective way for controllable doping of 2D semiconductors.

In recent years, the demand direction for electronic equipment has expanded into embedded and miniaturized devices. The heat radiation problem has become one of the most significant factors for hindering the development of electronic devices. Since heat radiation material is one of the important components in electronic devices, the demand for enhancing thermal conductivity is also increasingly urgent. Research on thermal conductive polymer composites has become a major direction for developing functional composites. This work reviewed the recent progress in the fabrication of thermal conductive polymer composites. five different structures are presented, including the using of single fillers,hybrid fillers, double threshold percolation structure, segregated structure and other complex multiphase structures. Specifically, the preparation of high-performance thermal conductive polymer composites was introduced through the combination of various thermal conductive ***, the development direction of high thermal conductive polymer composites was briefly explored.
