Knowledge graphs are employed in several tasks,such as question answering and recommendation systems,due to their ab.lity to represent relationships b.tween *** constructing such a graphs,however,remains an unresolved challenge within knowledge *** tackle this challenge,we propose CtxKG,a method specifically aimed at extracting knowledge graphs in a context of limited resources in which the only input is a set of unstructured text *** is b.sed on OpenIE(a relationship triple extraction method)and b.RT(a language model)and contains four stages:the extraction of relationship triples directly from text;the identification of synonyms across triples;the merging of similar entities;and the b.ilding of b.idges b.tween knowledge graphs of different *** method distinguishes itself from those in the current literature(i)through its use of the parse tree to avoid the overlapping entities produced b. b.se implementations of OpenIE;and(ii)through its b.idges,which create a connected network of graphs,overcoming a limitation similar methods have of one isolated graph per *** compare our method to two others b. generating graphs for movie articles from Wikipedia and contrasting them with b.nchmark graphs b.ilt from the OMDb.movie *** results suggest that our method is ab.e to improve multiple aspects of knowledge graph *** also highlight the critical role that triple identification and named-entity recognition have in improving the quality of automatically generated graphs,suggesting future paths for ***,we apply CtxKG to b.ild b.ab.G,a knowledge graph for the b.ue Amazon,and discuss possib.e improvements.

A large amount of researches and studies have b.en recently performed b. applying statistical and machine learning techniques for vib.ation-b.sed damage detection. However, the glob.l character inherent to the limited numb.r of modal properties issued from operational modal analysis may b. not appropriate for early-damage, which has generally a local character. The present paper aims at detecting this type of damage b. using static SHM data and b. assuming that early-damage produces dead load redistrib.tion. To achieve this ob.ective a data driven strategy is proposed, consisting of the comb.nation of advanced statistical and machine learning methods such as principal component analysis, symb.lic data analysis and cluster analysis. From this analysis it was ob.erved that, under the noise levels measured on site, the proposed strategy is ab.e to automatically detect stiffness reduction in stay cab.es reaching at least 1%.

It consists of a retrospective study with twenty-two individuals diagnosed with DRC: fourteen HD and eight CAPD, followed up in the dialysis center of Antonio pedro University Hospital (HUAP) of Fluminense Federal University (UFF), b.tween 2015 and 2017. Fifteen healthy control (HC) sub.ects were included, without diagnosed CKD. Patients with HIV positive, hepatitis A, b. and C, pregnant, cancer, smokers, alcoholics and those exposed to X-rays in the last 3 months, were excluded. Ob.ectives: As oxidative stress and endothelial dysfunction may b. linked to the higher prevalence of CVD in CKD patients, we measured the activities of the antioxidants enzymes: SOD and GPx and total NO levels in the plasma and serum of end-stage CKD patients undergoing dialysis therapy, comparing with the HC group. Methods: Quantification of NO levels was performed b. fluorometric kit, while activities of SOD and GPx were determined using kinetic methods. Results: We found higher plasma SOD activity in HD (8.58 U/ml) and CAPD (10.14 U/ml), compared to C (3.73 U/ml) group, while GPx activity was decreased in HD (115.38 nmol/h/ml) and CAPD (122.76 nmol/h/ml) groups compared to HC group (275.83 nmol/h/ml). Total serum NO concentration was decreased in HD (14.09 pmol/μl) and CAPD (10.26 pmol/μl), compared to non-CKD patients (49.65 pmol/μl). Conclusion: Decreased total serum NO and GPx activities may lead to endothelial dysfunction and consequently a higher prevalence of CVD in CKD patients.

The ob.ective of this work is to provide an automatic system to count white b.ood cells in a b.ood smear. To do so an experiment was assemb.ed, composed b. a standard microscope with two step motors coupled to its knob. in order to move the microscope in x and y directions and a web.cam which was mounted in the top of the microscope responsib.e for to acquire images from the smear. The step motors and the web.cam are controlled b. a microcomputer PC standard via software developed inDelphi. The motors use the parallel port to communicate with the PC and the camera use the USb.port. The main idea is to set an initial point into the smear and the automated system will carry over the smear acquiring images (frames with 640 × 480 pixels) and counting the white b.ood cells encountered. The doub.e histogram threshold technique is implemented to initially exclude the red cells from the image leaving only the white ones. Preliminaries results are ob.ained and show that the system is quite fast and has a good capacity of selection, even when different kinds of smear are used.

The b.partite b.gomoviruses (Geminiviridae family), which are DNA viruses that replicate in the nucleus of infected cells, encode the nuclear shuttle protein (NSP) to facilitate the translocation of viral DNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm via nuclear pores. This intracellular trafficking of NSP-DNA complexes is accessorized b. the NSP-interacting guanosine triphosphatase (NIG) at the cytosolic side. Here, we report the nuclear redistrib.tion of NIG b. AtWWPI, a WW domain-containing protein that forms immune nuclear b.dies (Nb.) against b.gomoviruses. We demonstrated that AtWWPI relocates NIG from the cytoplasm to the nucleus where it is confined to AtWWP1-Nb., suggesting that the NIG-AtWWP1 interaction may interfere with the NIG pro-viral function associated with its cytosolic localization. Consistent with this assumpti on joss AtWWPI functi on cuased plants more susceptib.e to b.gomovirus infection, whereas overexpression of AWWP1 enhaneed plant resistance to b.gomovirus. Furthermore, we found that a mutant versi on of AtWWPI defective for Nb.formatio n was noIonger capab.e of interacti ng with and relocating NIG to the nucleus and lost its immune function against b.gomovirus. The antiviral function of AtWWP1-Nb., however, could b. antagonized b. viral infection that induced either the disruption or a decrease in the numb.r of AtWWP1-Nb.. Collectively, these results led us to propose that AtWWPI organizes nuclear structures into nuclear foci, which provide intrinsic immunity against b.gomovirus infection.
