Neurodegenerative diseases with an iron accumulation component: A wide variety of neurological diseases are characterized by the accumulation of iron in different areas of the central nervous system, include Parkinson’s disease, Huntington disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Friedreich’s ataxia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration and other neuropathologies associated with brain iron accumulation (Hayflick et al., 2018).

Bile duct tumors are comprised of tumors that originate from both intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile ducts and gallbladder *** are aggressive tumors and chemotherapy is still the main treatment for advanced-stage disease and most of these cases have a poor overall *** are aimed at treatments with better outcomes and less toxicity which makes immunotherapy an area of significant *** Food and Drug Administration approvals of immune checkpoint inhibitors(IcI)for agnostic tumors based on biomarkers such as microsatellite instability-high and tumor mutation burden-high are important steps in the treatment of patients with advanced bile duct *** limited responses with isolated checkpoint inhibitors in later lines of systemic treatment in advanced disease,drug combination strategies have been demonstrating encouraging results to enhance IcI efficacy.

In the quest for decreasing fuel consumption and resulting gas emissions in the aeronautic sector,lightweight materials such as carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers(cFRPs)and Ti-6Al-4V alloys are being *** materials,with excellent weight-to-strength ratios,are widely used for structural applications in aircraft *** date,several studies have been published showing that the use of metalworking fluids(MWFs),special tool geometries,or advanced machining techniques is required to ensure a surface quality that meets aerospace component *** MWFs pose a number of environmental and worker health hazards and also degrade the mechanical properties of cFRPs due to water absorption in the ***,a transition to more environmentally friendly cooling/lubrication techniques that prevent moisture problems in the composite is *** research shows that lubricated LcO_(2) is a viable option to improve the quality of drilled cFRP and titanium aerospace components compared to dry machining,while maintaining clean work *** results show that the best combination of tool geometry and cooling conditions for machining both materials is drilling with Brad point drills and lubricated LcO_(2).Drilling under these conditions resulted in a 90%improvement in fiber pullout volume compared to dry machined cFRP *** addition,a 33% reduction in burr height and a 15% improvement in surface roughness were observed compared to dry drilling of titanium.

Sejima and Nishizawa have developed their work without explicitly referencing a theoretical ***,they have stated that their housing projects describe their"architectural biography."This study presents the hypothesis that systermic theories had infu-enced their housing projects at a spatial and constructive *** the aim of testing it,the research produces four lines of ***,we observe that the word system is prominently current in a signifcant sample of their published *** describe how architects like Tomi-naga,Ito,Taki,and Shinohara,who infuenced Sejima when she was still a student,discussed this concept inspired by christopher Alexander's *** second line brings together all the couple's single-family housing projects published between 1987 and 2010 for the first time in a single document,as well as an original graphic-constructive reconstruction of the most outstanding ***,we unveil the emergence of four constructive patterns by applying these theories to the graphic material ***,we summarize the results in dia-grams,showing the frequency,intensity,and continuity of the identified patterns in the four phases throughout the studied *** the hypothesis facilitates further research relate their domestic work and their other types of projects.

The intracortical microstimulation(IcMS) from 40 to 100 μA is useful to elicit tactile sensations,which could be employed in neuroprostheses to control the robotic arms' ***,this electrical current applied for prolonged periods of time could damage the neuronal ***,there is a necessity to create new strategies for the practical use of IcMS in a safe intensity range for potential clinical applications in tetraplegic *** we describe crucial studies supporting the use of electrical and optical noise to guarantee a safe IcMS delivered through brain-machine interface technologies.

For a bipartite graph G on m and n vertices, respectively, in its vertices classes, and for integers s andt such that 2≤ s ≤ t, 0≤ m-s ≤ n-t, andre＋n≤ 2s＋t-1, we prove that if G has at least mn- （2（m - s）＋ n - t） edges then it contains a subdivision of the complete bipartite K（s,t） with s vertices in the m-class and t vertices in the n-class. Furthermore, we characterize the corresponding extremal bipartite graphs with mn- （2（m - s）＋ n - t ＋ 1） edges for this topological Turan type problem.

Distributed energy systems are considered as a promising technology for sustainable development and have become a popular research topic in the areas of building energy systems. This work presents a case study of optimizing an integrated distributed energy system consisting of combined heat and power(cHP), photovoltaics(PV), and electric and/or thermal energy storage for a hospital and large hotel buildings located in Texas and california. First, simulation models for all subsystems, which are developed individually, are integrated together according to a control strategy designed to satisfy both the electric and thermal energy requirements of a building. Subsequently, a multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MOPSO) is employed to obtain an optimal design of each subsystem. The objectives of the optimization are to minimize the simple payback period(PBP) and maximize the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions(RcDE). Finally, the energy performance for the selected building types and locations are analyzed after the optimization. Results indicate that the proposed optimization method could be applied to determine an optimal design of distributed energy systems, which reaches a trade-off between the economic and environmental performance for different buildings. With the presented distributed energy system, a peak shaving in electricity of about 300 kW and a reduction in boiler fuel consumption of 610 kW could be attained for the hospital building located in california for a winter day. For the summer and transition seasons, electricity peak shaving of 800 kW and 600 kW could be achieved, respectively.
