bats are the second-most diverse group of mammals in the world,and bat flies are their main ***,significant knowledge gaps remain regarding these antagonistic interactions,especially since diverse factors such as seasonality and host sex can affect their network ***,we explore the influence of such factors by comparing species richness and composition of bat flies on host bats,as well as specialization and modularity of bat–bat fly interaction networks between seasons and adult host *** captured bats and collected their ectoparasitic flies at 10 sampling sites in the savannahs of AmapáState,northeastern region of the brazilian *** female bats being more parasitized and recording greater bat fly species richness in the wet season,neither relationship was statistically *** pooled network could be divided into 15 compartments with 54 links,and all subnetworks comprised>12 *** total number of links ranged from 27 to 48(for the dry and wet seasons,respectively),and female and male subnetworks had 44 and 41 links,*** values were very low for the pooled network and for all *** results revealed higher bat fly species richness and abundance in the wet season,whereas specialization and modularity were higher in the dry ***,the subnetwork for female bats displayed higher specialization and modularity than the male ***,both seasonality and host sex contribute in different ways to bat–bat fly network *** studies should consider these factors when evaluating bat–bat fly interaction networks.

To explore highly active and thermomechanical stable air electrodes for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells(ITSOFCs),10mol%Ta5+doped in the b site of strontium ferrite perovskite oxide(SrTa_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3-δ),STF)is investigated and *** effects of Ta^(5+)doping on structure,transition metal reduction,oxygen nonstoichiometry,thermal expansion,and electrical performance are evaluated *** 10mol%Ta^(5+)doping,the thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)decreased from 34.1×10^(-6)(SrFeO_(3-δ))to 14.6×10^(-6) K^(-1)(STF),which is near the TEC of electrolyte(13.3×10^(-6) K^(-1) for Sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(1.9),SDC),indicates excellent thermomechanical *** 550-750℃,STF shows superior oxygen vacancy concentrations(0.262 to 0.331),which is critical in the oxygen-reduction reaction(ORR).Oxygen temperature-programmed desorption(O_(2)-TPD)indicated the thermal reduction onset temperature of iron ion is around 420℃,which matched well with the inflection points on the thermos-gravimetric analysis and electrical conductivity *** 600℃,the STF electrode shows area-specific resistance(ASR)of 0.152Ω·cm^(2) and peak power density(PPD)of 749 mW·cm^(-2).ORR activity of STF was further improved by introducing 30wt%Sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(1.9)(SDC)powder,STF+SDC composite cathode achieving outstanding ASR value of 0.115Ω·cm2 at 600℃,even comparable with benchmark cobalt-containing cathode,ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)(bSCF).Distribution of relaxation time(DRT)analysis revealed that the oxygen surface exchange and bulk diffusion were improved by forming a composite *** 650℃,STF+SDC composite cathode achieving an outstanding PPD of 1117 mW·cm^(-2).The excellent results suggest that STF and STF+SDC are promising air electrodes for IT-SOFCs.

Many studies propose a significant shift in the tectonic and paleogeographic evolution of the Andes in south-central Chile and Argentina during the Late *** has been proposed that the preceding jurassic-Early Cretaceous extensional regime that resulted in a low-relief volcanic arc and the backarc Neuquén basin came to an end,giving way to shortening and Andean growth from the Late Cretaceous ***,there are disagreements regarding the timing and nature of this transition to Andean *** address these issues,we conducted geochronologic(U-Pb and^(40)Ar/&(39)Ar),sedimentologic,and structural studies on Mesozoic-Cenozoic sedimentary and volcanic rocks in the Río Maule area(Principal Cordillera,Chile,36°S).From our findings and prior analyses,we propose the following tectono-stratigraphic evolution of the region.(1)Marine deposition of the Tithonian-Hauterivian baños del Flaco Formation took place in an extensional backarc basin.(2)After a~40 Myr hiatus,fluvial deposits of the Colimapu Formation and volcanic rocks of the Plan de los Yeuques Formation accumulated during the *** the Colimapu Formation displays evidence of syndepositional shortening,the Plan de los Yeuques Formation exhibits synextensional growth *** to other studies,our results suggest that the Chilean part of the Principal Cordillera was largely a zone of active deposition rather than an elevated fold-thrust belt during the Late *** propose that sedimentation occurred within a series of relatively stable intermontane subbasins generated by shortening,followed by extension.(3)After a~20 Myr hiatus,middle Eocene to early Miocene(Lutetian-Aquitanian)accumulation of a thick succession of andesitic lavas and minor clastic sediments of the Abanico Formation occurred in an intraarc extensional basin.(4)Finally,major shortening and uplift of previously deposited Mesozoic-Cenozoic rocks took place throughout the *** phase constitu

The effectiveness of current control measures against Aedes mosquitoes remains low, resulting in persistent epidemics in urban areas. The emergence of resistant mosquito populations to chemical insecticides highlights the need for novel, environmentally friendly, cost-effective control strategies. This study explored the potential of environmental bacterial isolates to biocontrol wild Aedes larvae. Initially, we collected bacterial samples from infectious masses of Aedes fluviatilis larvae. The isolated bacteria were identified using biochemical, enzymatic, and molecular methods, including 16S rRNA sequencing and MALDI-TOF. Previously, Aeromonas hydrophila and bacillus thuringiensis isolated from these infectious masses showed limited Aedes larval inhibition. Consequently, we screened additional environmental isolates from the bacteriotheque. Six isolates previously identified were tested: Chromobacterium violaceum, Enterobacter cloacae, bacillus cereus, bacillus sphaericus, and two strains of bacillus thuringiensis israelensis. Among these strains, b. thuringiensis and C. violaceum exhibited significant inhibitory activities against wild Aedes larvae. bacillus thuringiensis cultures grown under daylight conditions showed a slight ability to inhibit Aedes larvae. The potential of b. thuringiensis and C. violaceum strains studied, along with optimized culture growth conditions, will be further investigated to develop bioinsecticide products to provide safer and more sustainable alternatives for controlling larvae of Aedes mosquitoes.

The scope and aim of this work is to describe the two-body interaction mediated by a particle （either the scalar or the gauge boson） within the light-front formulation. To do this, first of all we point out the importance of propagators and Green functions in Quantum Mechanics. Then we project the covariant quantum propagator onto the light front time to get the propagator for scalar particles in these coordinates. This operator propagates the wave function from x＋ = 0 to x＋〉 0. It corresponds to the definition of the time ordering operation in the light front time x＋. We calculate the light-front Green＇s function for 2 interacting bosons propagating forward in x＋. We also show how to write down the light front Green＇s function from the Feynman propagator and finally make a generalization to N bosons.

The treatment of wastewaters is crucial to maintain the ecological status of receiving waters,and thereby guarantee the protection of aquatic life and human *** quality evaluation is conventionally based on physicochemical parameters,but increasing attention has been paid to integrate physicochemical and biological ***,the regulatory use of fish in biological testing methods has been subject to various ethical and cost concerns,and in vitro cell-based assays have thus become an important topic of ***,the present study intends:(a) to evaluate the efficiency of two different sample pre-concentration techniques (lyophilisation and solid phase extraction) to assess the toxicity of municipal effluents on rat cardiomyoblast H9c2(2-1) cells,and (b) maximizing the use of the effluent sample collected,to estimate the environmental condition of the receiving *** gathered results demonstrate that the H9c2(2-1) sulforhodamine b-based assay is an appropriate in vitro method to assess biological effluent toxicity,and the best results were attained by lyophilising the sample as *** to its response,the H9c2(2-1) cell line might be a possible alternative in vitro model for fish lethal testing to assess the toxicity of municipal *** physicochemical status of the sample suggests a high potential for eutrophication,and iron exceeded the permissible level for wastewater discharge,possibly due to the addition of ferric chloride for wastewater *** general,the levels of carbamazepine and sulfamethoxazole are higher than those reported for other countries,and both surpassed the aquatic protective values for long-term exposure.
