t.o new hydralazine hydrochloride-deriv.d Schiff bases: (E)-1-(Phthalazin- 1-yl)-1-[(Pyridin-2-yl)Ethylidene]Hydralazine (PPEH), and 1-[2-(1-(pyridine- 3-yl)ethylidene)hydrazinyl]phthalazine (PEHP), were synthesized and partially characterized by spectroscopic and crystallographic methods including IR and X-ray. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) analysis of PEHP indicates that the hydralazine moiety of both ligands possesses the exocyclic C=N bond. Both, PPEH and PEHP were tested as antimicrobials and antiparasites. Just PEHP could be considered as slightly antiplasmodial and antibacterial agent. In effect, PPEH showed low antimicrobial activity against one bacterial strain with Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) value of 250 μg/ml while PEHP showed very interesting activity against 18 out of 19 bacterial strains with MIC of 31.25 - 250 μg/ml compared to the standard drug, amoxicillin. PPEH and PEHP showed higher reducing activity on ferric ions compared to Vitamin C. t.o nov.l Schiff bases, 3-[1-(2-(pht.alazin-1-yl)hydrazono)et.yl)-1,3-oxa- zinane (PHEO) and 2-[(2-(pht.alazin-1-yl)hydrazono)met.yl]phenol (PHMP), deriv.d from hydralazine hydrochloride, an effect.v. drug against.hypert.nsion, were synt.esized and charact.rized by spect.oscopic met.ods, Infrared (IR), Prot.n Nuclear Magnet.c Resonance (1H NMR) and Carbon-13 Nuclear Magnet.c Resonance (13C NMR). PHEO showed low ant.microbial act.v.t. against.one bact.rial st.ain wit. MIC v.lue of 250 μg/ml while PHMP showed int.rest.ng act.v.t. against.4 bact.rial st.ains wit. MIC of 31.25 - 250 μg/ml compared t. t.e st.ndard drug, amoxicillin. PHEO and PHMP showed higher reducing act.v.t. on ferric ions compared t. v.t.min C. On lipid peroxidat.on, PHEO showed higher inhibit.on while PHMP showed lower inhibit.on compared t. v.t.min C. Bot. compounds present.d lower st.mulat.ng effect.and lower cat.lase act.v.t. compared t. t.e st.ndard v.t.min C. PHEO and PHMP showed less t.an 80% inhibit.on in t.e preliminary ant.plasmodial assay and so were not.considered for t.e dose-response st.dies.

苏格兰猛禽监测计划(SRMS)于2002年制定,包含7个合作机构。其动因是:1)英国政府所出版的《猛禽工作组报告》中提出了加强猛禽监测的建议;2)对应用资料的需求(比如选点所需的资料)越来越多;3)对某些物种现状的关注。苏格兰猛禽监测计划有3个主要目标:1)促进各方之间的合作;2)通过分析猛禽数量、活动范围、存活率,繁育生产力的趋势并了解其变化原因,提供有关苏格兰猛禽种群的稳定而丰富的信息;3)在资料的收集、整理、审核、分析以及信息的报告方面保持高标准和统一标准。文中主要收集了19种猛禽的资料:14种昼行猛禽,4种鸮以及1种鸦科鸟类——渡鸦。本文将介绍监测计划的发展、面临的挑战、前4年所取得的成果、所收集资料的性质和价值以及未来的计划。
