Heat transport at the microscale is of vital importance in microtechnology applications. The heat transport equation is different from the traditional heat transport equation since a second order derivative of temperature with respect to time and a third-order mixed derivative of temperature with respect to space and time are introduced. In this study, we develop a hybrid finite element-finite difference (FE-Fd) scheme with two levels in time for the three dimensional heat transport equation in a cylindrical thin film with sub-microscale thickness. It is shown that the scheme is unconditionally stable. The scheme is then employed to obtain the temperature rise in a sub-microscale cylindrical gold film. The method can be applied to obtain the temperature rise in any thin films with sub-microscale thickness, where the geometry in the planar direction is arbitrary.

The purpose of this paper is to present a numerical approach based on the artificial neural networks(ANNs)for solving a novel fractional chaotic financial model that represents the effect of memory and chaos in the presented *** method is constructed with the combination of the ANNs along with the Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation(LMB),named the *** technique is tested for solving the novel problem for three cases of the fractional-order values and the obtained results are compared with the reference *** numbers neurons have been used to solve the fractional-order chaotic financial *** selection of the data to solve the fractional-order chaotic financial model are selected as 75%for training,10%for testing,and 15%for *** results indicate that the presented approximate solutions fit exactly with the reference solution and the method is effective and *** obtained results are testified to reduce the mean square error(MSE)for solving the fractional model and verified through the various measures including correlation,MSE,regression histogram of the errors,and state transition(ST).

The current investigations are presented to solve the fractional order HBV differential infection system(FO-HBV-dIS)with the response of antibody immune using the optimization based stochastic schemes of the Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation(LMB)neural networks(NNs),i.e.,*** FO-HBV-dIS with the response of antibody immune is categorized into five dynamics,healthy hepatocytes(H),capsids(d),infected hepatocytes(I),free virus(V)and antibodies(W).The investigations for three different FO variants have been tested numerically to solve the nonlinear *** data magnitudes are implemented 75%for training,10%for certification and 15%for testing to solve the FO-HBV-dIS with the response of antibody *** numerical observations are achieved using the stochastic LMBNNs procedures for soling the FO-HBV-dIS with the response of antibody immune and comparison of the results is presented through the database Adams-Bashforth-Moulton *** authenticate the validity,competence,consistency,capability and exactness of the LMBNNs,the numerical presentations using the mean square error(MSE),error histograms(EHs),state transitions(STs),correlation and regression are accomplished.

Self-mixing interferometry(SMI)is an attractive sensing scheme that typically relies on mono-modal operation of an employed laser ***,change in laser modality can occur due to change in operating ***,detection of occurrence of multi-modality in SMI signals is necessary to avoid erroneous metric ***,processing of multi-modal SMI signals is a difficult task due to the diverse and complex nature of such ***,the proposed techniques can significantly ease this task by identifying the modal state of SMI signals with 100%success rate so that interferometric fringes can be correctly interpreted for metric sensing applications.

The main purpose of the study is to present a numerical approach to investigate the numerical performances of the fractional 4-d chaotic financial system using a stochastic *** stochastic procedures mainly depend on the combination of the artificial neural network(ANNs)along with the Levenberg-Marquardt Backpropagation(LMB)i.e.,ANNs-LMB *** fractional-order term is defined in the Caputo sense and three cases are solved using the proposed technique for different values of the fractional orderα.The values of the fractional order derivatives to solve the fractional 4-d chaotic financial system are used between 0 and *** data proportion is applied as 73%,15%,and 12%for training,testing,and certification to solve the chaotic fractional *** acquired results are verified through the comparison of the reference solution,which indicates the proposed technique is efficient and *** 4-d chaotic model is numerically solved by using the ANNs-LMB technique to reduce the mean square error(MSE).To authenticate the exactness,and consistency of the technique,the obtained performances are plotted in the figures of correlation measures,error histograms,and *** these figures,it can be witnessed that the provided technique is effective for solving such models to give some new insight into the physical behavior of the model.

Insert geometry effects on surface roughness in turning process of AISI d2 steel

Surface roughness is an important parameter for ensuring that the dimension of geometry is within the permitted *** ideal surface roughness is determined by the feed rate and the geometry of the ***,several uncontrollable factors including work material factors,tool angle,and machine tool vibration,may also influence surface *** objective of this study was to compare the measured surface roughness (from experiment) to the theoretical surface roughness (from theoretical calculation) and to investigate the surface roughness resulting from two types of insert,‘C’ type and ‘T’ *** experiment was focused on the turning process,using a lathe machine Colchester *** feed rate was varied within the recommended feed rate *** found that there were large deviations between the measured and theoretical surface roughness at a low feed rate (0.05 mm/r) from the application of both inserts.A work material factor of AISI d2 steel that affects the chip character is presumably responsible for this ***,at a high feed rate (0.4 mm/r),the ‘C’ type insert resulted in 40% lower roughness compared to the ‘T’ type due to the difference in insert *** study shows that the geometry of an insert may result in a different surface quality at a particular level of feed rate.

Starch metabolism due to adsorption of enzyme amylase on the starch substrate is outlined *** explore the necessary conditions required for effective adsorption in biological media,ultrasonic techniques have been applied to elucidate the structural variations and component destruction in the considered *** ability of the enzyme amylase to break the linkages in starch(substrate)was determined from the observed ultrasonic velocity,which highlights the deciding factors of *** is concluded that the phenomenon of adsorption is decided by the surface area,the number of subunits held by the substrate,and the structure existing in the adsorbent,and above all,a relatively higher quantity of enzyme and the substrate.

The main objective of implementing charging stations is to ensure the good charging to theElectric Vehicles by using a solar PV array which is interconnected to the battery energy storagesystems. The charging station regulates the supply voltage and frequency without the use of amechanical speed governor. It also assures that energy gained from grid or by the dG set willhave the unity power factor (UPF) when the load is nonlinear. Besides this, the Point of CommonCoupling (PCC) voltage is synchronised with the grid/generator voltage in order to providecontinuous charging. In order to increase the optimal efficiency of the charging stations, thecharging stations will perform the active/reactive power transfer from the vehicle to grid, vehicleto house and vehicle to vehicle (V2V) power transfer. The operational experiment of the chargingstation is simulated and verified by using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
