Electric vehicles(EVs)are going to overrule the transportation sector due to their pollution-free technology and low running ***,charging the EVs causes significant power demand and stress on the power delivery *** challenge can be tackled well when charging and discharging scheduling are coordinated with intelligent EV *** this work,two-stage charging and discharging scheduling are *** the first stage,a time scheduling algorithm is structured to identify EV charging/discharging slots at different hours,and at a later stage,the slots are optimally distributed among different charging *** of the EVs towards the EVCSs has been designed to enhance the useful participation of the EVs in the charging and discharging *** this regard,a possible number of EVs in the test region has been forecasted with a regression *** adequacy of the combined charging-discharging and location scheduling model is tested on a typical PV-enhanced 28-bus Indian distribution *** case studies containing three sub-cases in each have been performed incorporating the choice of the EV owners towards charging and discharging in different time slots in a *** case studies have resulted in a peak-to-average ratio(PAR)of 1.151,0,1.165,0,1.196,8,1.165,0,1.180,9,1.196,8,1.196,8,1.196,8 and 1.196,8 for the 24-h demand pattern in Case-1a,Case-1b,Case-1c,Case-2a,Case-2b,Case-2c,Case-3a,Case-3b and Case-1c respectively in comparison to a PAR of 1.2 for the 24-h demand in base case.

Background & Objectives: Sustainable development Goals (SDGs) are set up as a part of the Post Millennium development Goals (MDGs). Then it becomes essential to review the achievement of the MDGs in India and lessons learned to incorporate into the SDGs. The present study reviews and predicts different components of under-five mortality rate beyond 2015 to assess the present situation and to determine the future possibilities of achieving the new targets for SDGs in India. Data and Methods: It uses available time series data on different components of U5MR from the India’s Sample Registration System (SRS). Autoregressive Integrated Moving Averages (ARIMA) model has been taken as the method of time series analysis to forecast the mortality rates beyond 2015. Results: There is a consistent pattern of faster decline in the under-five mortality compared with the neonatal mortality rate across all major states in India although neonatal mortality contributes largest share in under-five mortality. Again, share of neonatal death among under-five death is increasing steadily over the future projected years. This indicates very slow progress of reduction in neonatal mortality. Stimulating efforts with new intervention programmes will be needed to focus more on lowering neonatal mortality particularly in rural India.

Cervical cancer is a severe threat to women's health. The majority of cervical cancer cases occur in developing countries. The WHO has proposed screening 70% of women with high-performance tests between 35 and 45 years of age by 2030 to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer. Due to an inadequate health infrastructure and organized screening strategy, most low-and middleincome countries are still far from achieving this goal. As part of the efforts to increase performance of cervical cancer screening, it is necessary to investigate the most accurate, efficient, and effective methods and strategies. Artificial intelligence(AI) is rapidly expanding its application in cancer screening and diagnosis and deep learning algorithms have offered human-like interpretation capabilities on various medical images. AI will soon have a more significant role in improving the implementation of cervical cancer screening, management, and follow-up. This review aims to report the state of AI with respect to cervical cancer screening. We discuss the primary AI applications and development of AI technology for image recognition applied to detection of abnormal cytology and cervical neoplastic diseases, as well as the challenges that we anticipate in the future.

Bioremediation is an eco-compatible and economical approach to counter textile dye menace. The isolated Lentinus squarrosulus AF5 was assessed for decolourization of textile azo dyes, and had shown ~93%, 88% and 70% decolorization of Reactive blue 160 (RB160), Reactive black 5 (RB5) and Amido black 10B (AB10B) respectively. Further analysis using UV-vis, HPLC, and FTIR, 1H NMR had shown the degradation of the dyes. Toxicity analysis of the metabolites was performed using seed germination and plant growth on two agriculturally important plants Guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) and wheat (Triticum aestivum) as well as cytotoxicity analysis using the human keratinocyte cell line (HaCaT). The dye mix appeared inhibitory for seed germination (20% - 40%), whereas metabolites were non-inhibitory for germination. Treatment of HaCaT cells with of dye mix and metabolites led into 45% and ~100% of cell viability of HaCaT cells respectively. Therefore, metabolites following degradation of the dye mix were observed to be non-toxic.

A radiation hard phase-locked loop （PLL） is designed at 2.5 GHz using silicon on sapphire complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor process. Radiation hardness is achieved through improving circuit design without sacrificing real estate. Stability is guaranteed by a fully self-bias architecture. The lock time of PLL is minimized by maximizing the loop bandwidth. Frequency tuning range of voltage controlled oscillator is significantly enhanced by a novel load configuration. In addition, multiple bias stages, asynchronous frequency divider, and silicon on sapphire process jointly make the proposed PLL more radiation hard. Layout of this PLL is simulated by Cadence Spectre RF under both single event effect and total induced dose effect. Simulation results demonstrate excellent stability, lock time 〈 600 ns, frequency tuning range [1.57 GHz, 3.46 GHz], and jitter 〈 12 ps. Through comparison with PLLs in literatures, the PLL is especially superior in terms of lock time and frequency tuning range performances.

The advantages of multivalued logic in optical parallel computation need no introduction. There are lots of proposals, already reported, where tristate, quarternary state logic operations can be performed with optics. Here we report a new approach to implement tristate logic based all optical flip-flop using optical nonlinear material. The concept and the principle of operation of this type of flip-flop are different from that of the conventional binary one.
