The Lower Cambrian nagaur Sandstone（Marwar Supergroup） has yielded trace fossils Treptichnus, Cruziana, serially repeated Rusophycus, Diplichnites, Monomorphichnus, Bergaueria,arthropod swimming traces and leap frogging marks of Cruziana ichnofacies. This ichnofossils assemblage is dominantly preserved in fine to medium grained red sandstone beds of the Mohra Member（nagaur Sandstone）. The presence of graded rip-up clasts, current ripples, dune crossstratification with mud drapes and tidal bundles indicates a subtidal paleoenvironment for the deposition of nagaur Sandstone Formation, which is corroborated by the Cruziana ichnofacies trace fossil assemblage.

Solar energy is the primary driving force behind a planet’s climate system,and surface albedo plays a key role in determining the energy budget of the *** the Snow,Ice,and Aerosol Radiation(SnICAR)with the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique(LMD)Mars General Circulation Model(MGCM)to create a new coupled model leads to an approximately 4%drop in the net CO2 ice deposition on *** simulated surface albedo affects the concentration of gaseous species in the Martian atmosphere(condensation-sublimation cycle).The new set-up also impacts the solar energy available in the *** two effects together lead to subsequent and significant changes in other chemical species in the Martian *** with results of the MGCM model alone,in the new coupled model CO2(gas)and O3 show a drop of about 1.17%and 8.59%in their respective concentrations,while H2O(vapor)and CO show an increase of about 13.63%and 0.56%in their respective *** trace species,OH shows a maximum increase of about 29.44%,while the maximum drop of 11.5%is observed in the O *** neutral species such as Ar and n2 remain unaffected by the albedo changes.

In view of the difficulties in stand volume estimation in natural forests, we derived real form factors and models for volume estimation in these types of forest ecosystems, using Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary as a case study. Tree growth data were obtained for all trees （dbh 〉10 cm） in 4 plots （25 × 25 m） randomly located in each of three strata selected in the forest. The form factor calculated for the stand was 0.42 and a range of 0.42 0.57 was estimated for selected species （density 〉10）. The parameters of model variables were consistent with general growth trends of trees and each was statistically significant. There was no significant difference （p〉0.05） between the observed and predicted volumes for all models and there was very high correlation between observed and predicted volumes. The output of the performance statistics and the logical signs of the regression coefficients of the models demonstrated that they are useful for volume estimation with minimal error. Plotting the biases with respect to considerable regressor variables showed no meaningful and evident trend of bias values along with the independent variables. This showed that the models did not violate regression assumptions and there were no heteroscedacity or multiculnarity problems. We recommend use of the form factors and models in this ecosystem and in similar ones for stand and tree volume estimation.

Objective:To explore the immunomodulatory properties of 80% ethanol extract and butanol fraction of Gentiana olivieri(G. olivieri) Griseb on Balb/C ***:The study was performed with basic models of immunomodulation such as the humoral antibody response(hemoglutination antibody titres), cell mediated immune response(delayed type hypersensitivity and in vivocarbon clearance or phagocytosis). Ethanol(80%) extract of flowering aerial parts of *** its butanol fraction were administered p.o.(orally) to the mice. Levamisole, 2.5 mg/kg was used as standard ***:There was a potentiation of immune response to sheep red blood cells by cellular and humoral mediated mechanisms comparable to levamisole(2.5 mg/kg) by both 80% ethanol extract and the butanol fraction at doses of 50-200 mg/kg in male Balb/C mice. Both significantly(Pntiated the humoral immune response in cyclophosphamide(250 mg/kg)immunosupressed mice at 100 and 200 mg/kg of each extract and fraction as compared to *** potentiation of delayed type hypersensitivity response was statistically significant(Pnol extract and 100, 200 mg/kg of butanol fraction as compared to control. The phagocytosis was significant at 200 mg/kg with butanol fraction ofG. ***:The results reveal the immunostimulant effects of plantG. olivieriin mice by acting through cellular and humoral immunity in experimental models of immunity in mice. Butanol fraction is the most effective at a dose level of 200 mg/kg.

Frequency and scale of the blasting events are increasing to boost limestone production. Mines areapproaching close to inhabited areas due to growing population and limited availability of land resourceswhich has challenged the management to go for safe blasts with special reference to opencast *** study aims to predict the distance covered by the flyrock induced by blasting using artificial neuralnetwork （Ann） and multi-variate regression analysis （MVRA） for better assessment. Blast design andgeotechnical parameters, such as linear charge concentration, burden, stemming length, specific charge,unconfined compressive strength （UCS）, and rock quality designation （RQD）, have been selected as inputparameters and flyrock distance used as output parameter. Ann has been trained using 95 datasets ofexperimental blasts conducted in 4 opencast limestone mines in India. Thirty datasets have been used fortesting and validation of trained neural network. Flyrock distances have been predicted by Ann, MVRA,as well as further calculated using motion analysis of flyrock projectiles and compared with the observeddata. Azadirachta indica seed samples were collected from four different agro-ecological regions（AERs） viz.,AER-2,AER-4,AER-5A and AER-5B of Gujarat state,India during 2000 to 2002 with an aim to assess variability in azadirachtin,oil and fatty acids content of the seeds and assess correlation of these parameters with morphological ***,oil and fatty acids content indicated significant（p0.01） variations between years and AERs in *** azadirachtin ranged from 142 to 9 527 μg·g-1 seed kernel with an average of 2 426 μg·g-1 for the ***-5B recorded highest azadirachtin and oil *** acid composition was found to be affected by environmental factors particularly varying degree of annual rainfall and temperature during fruit ripening *** trees growing in AER-5B performed better in term of azadirachtin,oil and stearic acid *** girth at breast height showed no significant relation with these biochemicals.

The guinea pigs were dermally exposed to paraphenylenediamine (PPD) and in presence of an oxidising agent hydrogen peroxide for 15 and 30 d to assess their effects on some enzymes, lipid peroxidation and histamine contents in the skin. The activities of acid and alkaline phosphatases, β-glucuronidase, gamma glutamyl transpeptidase, histidase and tyrosinase were enhanced after application of either PPD or PPD plus hydrogen peroxide. The lipid peroxidation and histamine contents also showed marked elevation following exposure to the chemicals.

In this paper,we have studied heat transfer process in a continuously moving fin whose themmal conductivity,heat transfer coefficient varies with temperature and surface enmissivity varies with temperature and *** transfer cofficient is assumed to be a power law type form where exponent represent different types of convection,nucleate boiling,condensation,radiation *** themmal conductivity is assumed to be a linear and quadratic function of *** solution obtained in case of temperature independent thermal conductivity and in absence of radiation conduction parameter is compared with those obtained by present method and is same up to ten decimal *** whole analysis is presented in dimensionless form and the effect of variability of several parameters namely convection-conduction,radiation-conduction,themmal conductivity,emissivity,convection sink temperature,radiation sink temperature and exponent on the temperature distribution in fin and surface heat loss are studied and discussed in detail.
