We have conducted a two-color visible-ultraviolet （VIS-UV） resonance-enhanced laser pho- toionization and pulsed field ionization-photoelectron （PFI-PE） study of gaseous vana- dium mononitride （VN） in the total energy range of 56900-59020 cm-1. The VN molecules were selectively excited to single rotational levels of the intermediate VN（D3H0, v＇=0） state by using a VIS dye laser prior to photoionization by employing a UV laser. This two-color scheme allows the measurements of rovibronically selected and re- solved PFI-PE spectra for the VN＋（X2A; v＋=0, 1, and 2） ion vibrational bands. By simulating the rotationally resolved PFI-PE spectra, J＋=3/2 is determined to be the lowest rotational level of the ground electronic state, indicating that the symmetry of the ground VN＋ electronic state is 2A3/2. The analysis of the PFI-PE spectra for VN＋ also yields accurate values for the adiabatic ionization energy for the formation of VN＋（X2A3/2）, IE（VN）=56909.5＋0.8 cm-1 （7.05588±0.00010 eV）, the vibrational fre- quency wc＋=1068.0±0.8 cm-1, the anharmonicity constant wc＋Xe＋=5.8±0.8 cm-1, the rotational constants Be＋=0.6563±0.0005 cm-1 and ae＋=0.0069±0.0004 cm-1, and the equi-librium bond length, re＋=1.529A, for VN＋（X2A3/2）; along with the rotational constants Bc＋=0.6578i0.0028 cm-1 and a＋=0.0085±0.0028 cm-1, and the equilibrium bond length re＋=1.527A for VN＋（X2As/2）, and the spin-orbit coupling constant A=153.3±0.8 cm-1 for VN＋（X2/k5/2,3/2）. The highly precise energetic and spectroscopic data obtained in the present study are valuable for benchmarking the predictions based on state-of-the-art ab initio quantum calculations.

Recent studies have strongly indicated that certain daily-consumed dietaryphytochemicals could have cancer protective effects against transgenic mice can-cer models and cancers mediated by carcinogens,irradiations and carcinogenicmetabolites derived from exogenous or endogenous *** cancer-protec-tive effects elicited by these dietary compounds are believed to be due at least inpart to the induction of cellular defense systems including the detoxifying andantioxidant enzymes system,as well as the inhibition of anti-inflammatory andanti-cell growth signaling pathways culminating in cell cycle arrest and/or cell-death,in this review,we summarize the potential mechanisms including the modu-lation of nuclear factor kappaB (NF-kB),cyclooxygenases-2 (COX-2),activatorprotein-1 (AP-1),mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) and the inductionof phase Ⅱ cellular detoxifying and antioxidant enzymes mediated mainly by theantioxidant response elements (ARE) within the promoter regions of these genesthrough nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nff2),a member of the Cap‘n’collar (CNC) family of the basic region-leucine zipper transcription ***,we also review several animal models of carcinogenesis and cancerchemopreventive efficacy studies of these animal models using dietarychemopreventive ***,we discuss the cellular signaling cascadesmediated by Nrf2,NF-kB,AP-1,MAPKs and COX-2,which have been consideredto play pivotal roles in tumor initiation,promotion and progression processes,and could be promising molecular targets for the design of drugs targeting cancerprevention and therapy.

MHC class II expression is controlled mainly at transcriptional level by class II transactivator(CIITA),which is a non-DNA binding coactivator and serves as a master control factor for MHC class II genes ***,we describe the function of a novel splice-isoform of CIITA,DC-expressed caspase inhibitory isoform of CIITA(or DC-CASPIC),and we show that the expression of DCCASPIC in DC is upregulated upon lipopolysaccharides(LPS)***-CASPIC localizes to mitochondria,and protein-protein interaction study demonstrates that DC-CASPIC interacts with caspases and inhibits its activity in ***,DC-CASPIC suppresses caspases-induced degradation of nitric oxide synthase-2(NOS2)and subsequently promotes the synthesis of nitric oxide(NO).NO is an essential regulatory molecule that modulates the capability of DC in stimulating T cell proliferation/activation in vitro;hence,overexpression of DC-CASPIC in DC enhances this ***,our findings reveal that DC-CASPIC is a key molecule that regulates caspases activity and NO synthesis in DC.

Introduction:Antigen testing has been crucial in effectively managing the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** study evaluated the clinical performance of a nasopharyngeal swab(NPS)-based antigen rapid diagnostic test(Ag-RDT)compared to the gold standard real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)for early detection of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).Methods:We developed an IgM-based rapid antigen test for early detection of SARS-CoV-2 *** July 2021 and January 2022,we analyzed 1,030 NPS samples from participants at three centers in different countries,using both antigen rapid diagnostic tests(Ag-RDT)and ***:The Ag-RDT demonstrated minimal detection limits as low as 0.1 ng/mL for recombinant N antigen and 100 TCID50/mL for heat-inactivated SARS-CoV-2 *** assessments involving four human coronaviruses and 13 other respiratory viruses showed no *** Ag-RDT assay(ALLtest)exhibited high sensitivity(93.18%-100%)and specificity(99.67%-100%)across all *** such as cycle threshold(Ct)values and the timing of symptoms since onset were influential,with sensitivity increasing at lower Ct values(ng suspected COVID-19 cases.
