Optimization of enzymatic hydrolysis of pigeon pea for cooking quality of dhal

Cooking quality of dehusked splits is influenced by the dehulling method,in particular,by the pre-milling *** effects of four enzymatic hydrolysis parameters,i.e.,enzyme concentration(20-60 mg/100 g dry matter),incubation time(3-15 h),incubation temperature(40-60℃)and tempering water pH(4.0-6.0)on cooking time of pigeon pea dhal were optimized using response surface *** kinds of enzymes,i.e.,xylanase,pectinase,and cellulas were used in combination for enzymatic pre-treatment.A quadratic model satisfactorily described the dehulling efficiency with high value for the coefficient of determination R^(2)(0.9062).It predicted a minimum cooking time of 21.91 min at enzyme concentration of 37.8 mg/100 g dry matter,incubation time 8.69 min,incubation temperature 48.5℃ and pH 5.49 of tempering *** time at optimum condition was observed to be 21.50 min and the predicted values of cooking time showed 2.19% deviation from the experimental *** of the study revealed that cooking time of enzyme treated dhal could be decreased by 19.77% compared to the oil treated dhal.

In this paper, a computationally efficient method is proposed for automated design of the prefilters for multivariable systems. In quantitative feedback theory （QFT） method, proposed by Horowitz, the prefilter is designed to achieve the desired tracking specifications. In the proposed approach, we pose the prefilter design problem as an interval constraint satisfaction problem and solve it using the well-established interval constraint satisfaction techniques. The proposed method finds optimal values of the parameters of fixed structure prefilter within the initial search domain. An approach based on prefilter synthesis for single-input single-output is already developed. The purpose of this paper is to extend this approach to QFT prefilter design for general multivariable systems. To validate the above design approach, we applied the method to a laboratory setup of magnetic levitation system.

The oxovanadium（Iv） complexes of the Schiff base hydrazones, synthesized from 3-hydrazinoquinoxaline-2- one （HQO） with salicylaldehyde （HSHQO）, o-hydroxyacetophenone （HHAHQO）, dehydroacetic acid （HDHAHQO） and o-nitrobenzaldehyde （NBHQO） were synthesized and characterized on the basis of analytical, conductance, magnetic moment, infrared, NMR, ESR and electronic spectral data. The ligands HSHQO, HDHAHQO behaved as monobasic tridentate ONN donors through phenolic oxygen, azomethine nitrogens. The ligand HAHQO acted as a monobasic bidentate ON donor through the phenolic oxygen, azomethine （free） nitrogen and the ligand NBHQO acted as neutral bidentate ON donor through oxygen of the nitro group and azomethine （free） nitrogen.

Using animal mesentery with intravital optical microscopy is a well-established experimental model for studying blood and lymph microcirculation in vivo. Recent advances in cell biology and optical techniques provide the basis for extending this model for new applications, which should generate significantly improved experimental data. This review summarizes the achievements in this specific area, including in vivo label-free blood and lymph photothermal flow cytometry, super-sensitive fluorescence image cytometry, light scattering and speckle flow cytometry, microvessel dynamic microscopy, infrared (IR) angiography, and high-speed imaging of individual cells in fast flow. The capabilities of these techniques, using the rat mesentery model, were demonstrated in various studies; e.g., real-time quantitative detection of circulating and migrating individual blood and cancer cells, studies on vascular dynamics with a focus on lymphatics under normal conditions and under different interventions (e.g. lasers, drugs, nicotine), assessment of lymphatic disturbances from experimental lymphedema, monitoring cell traffic between blood and lymph systems, and high-speed imaging of cell transient deformability in flow. In particular, the obtained results demonstrated that individual cell transportation in living organisms depends on cell type (e.g., normal blood or leukemic cells), the cell’s functional state (e.g., live, apoptotic, or necrotic), and the functional status of the organism. possible future applications, including in vivo early diagnosis and prevention of disease, monitoring immune response and apoptosis, chemo- and radio-sensitivity tests, and drug screening, are also discussed.

vertical ZnO nanotube （ZNT） arrays were synthesized onto an indium doped tin oxide （ITO） glass substrate by a simple electrochemical deposition technique followed by a selective etching process. Scanning electron microscopy （SEM） showed formation of well-faceted hexagonal ZNT arrays spreading uniformly over a large area. X-ray diffraction （XRD） of ZNT layer showed substantially higher intensity for the （0002） diffraction peak, indicating that the ZnO crystallites were well aligned with their c-axis. profilometer measurements of the ZNT layer showed an average thickness of -7 μm. Diameter size distribution （DSD） analysis showed that ZNTs exhibited a narrow diameter size distribution in the range of 65-120 nm and centered at -75 nm. The photoluminescence （pL） spectrum measurement showed violet and blue luminescence peaks that were centered at 410 and 480 nm, respectively, indicating the presence of internal defects. Ultra-violet （Uv） spectroscopy showed major absorbance peak at ,-348 nm, exhibiting an increase in energy gap value of 3.4 ev. By employing the formed ZNTs as the photo-anode for a dye-sensitized solar cell （DSSC）, a full-sun conversion efficiency of 1.01% was achieved with a fill factor of 54%. Quantum efficiency studies showed the maximum of incident photon-to-electron conversion efficiency in a visible region located at 590-550 nm range.
