Aim:To investigate the effect of in utero exposure to hydroxyprogesterone(Hp)on liver metabolism in adult male albino ***:pregnant Wistar strain albino rats were exposed to supra-normal levels(10 mg/kg and 25 mg/kg)of Hp on days 1,7 and 14 of *** male pups were maintained under controlled conditions and the rats were killed 90 days after *** liver tissue was immediately excised,weighed and used for biochemical assays. 采空区综合治理是削弱或消除采空区安全隐患的具体措施。在研究国内外采空区治理现状的基础上,对封堵隔离方式进行了深入研究,从采空区顶板岩块冒落可能形成的两种冲击气浪形式出发,对岩块冒落诱导的风流速度进行了推导,分析了齿状阻波墙的作用机理及受力状态,并就齿状阻波墙厚度、数量及设置方式进行理论与数值模拟计算分析。研究结果表明:钢筋混凝土齿状阻波墙理论计算厚度为1.5 m~2.5 m,其阻波效果随墙体面积减小而减小,但墙体面积越小则要求墙体厚、数量多;当阻波墙面积占巷道断面面积约1/2时,墙体阻波效果及墙体数量、厚度能达到较好效果,对于人员、设备通行也较为方便,可作为巷道及采空区封堵隔离的推广形式。研究结果可为构筑齿状阻波墙提供科学依据,为实现安全生产条件重构提供强有力的技术支撑。

Backscattered electron BSE-CL images,U-Th abundance,and U-pb ages were obtained for zircons from the Nkogho granitic basement rocks cropping out in the Mamfe Basin(SW Cameroon).These data are used to characterize and classify each zircon,elucidate their geochemical *** were also used to formulate a model of their host composition to ascertain the source,and document any preserved postemplacement *** zircons mainly form long to short prisms that are pyramidal to dipyramidal in *** typically exhibit complex oscillatory growth zoning,as well as exhibit sector *** features are mainly compatible with igneous zircons,although a few examples have metamorphic *** U(30 ppm–6380 ppm),Th(4 ppm–1280 ppm),and pb(12 ppm–648 ppm)contents show core to rim variations with most values fall within the range of crustal granitic *** Th/U ratios(0.08–1.23),with core to rim differences mainly encompass values typical of magmatic zircons with a few values characterizing metamorphic zircons that grew in equilibrium with an anatectic *** U-pb ages(108.4±1.7 to 988.4±19.0 Ma)with some core and rim age differences date Early Neoproterozoic,Cryogenian–Ediacarian,Early Cambrian–Ordovician,Devonian–Carboniferous,and Aptian–Albian *** arc-like Nkogho I-type granitoid crystallized from granitic magma during Cryogenian to Ediacarian times and was later affected by post-Ediacarian Cambrian to Albian magmatic ***–Albian ages probably reflect opening of the Mamfe Basin.

For the first time, sulfanilamide(SFD) was determined in otologic solution, human urine and serum by electroanalytical techniques on glassy carbon electrode(GCE). The cyclic voltammetry(CV) experiments showed an irreversible oxidation peak at t 1.06 V in 0.1 mol/L BRBS(p H ? 2.0) at 50 m V/s. Different voltammetric scan rates(from 10 to 250 m V/s) suggested that the oxidation of SFD on the GCE was a diffusioncontrolled process. Square-wave voltammetry(SWV) method under optimized conditions showed a linear response to SFD from 5.0 to 74.7 μmol/L(R ? 0.999) with detection and quantification limits of 0.92 and3.10 μmol/L, respectively. The developed SWV method showed better results for detection limit and linear range than the chronoamperometry method. It has been successfully applied to determine SFD concentration in pharmaceutical formulation, human urine and serum samples with recovery close to 100%.

Aim: To evaluate the effect of Chinese Traditional Medicine, acupuncture and moxa treatment, on the semen quality in patients with semen abnormalities. Methods: In a prospective, controlled and blind study, nineteen patients, aged 24 years-42 years and married for 3 years-11 years without children with semen abnormalities in concentration, morphology and/or progressive motility without apparent cause, were randomized into two groups and submitted to acupuncture and moxa treatment at the therapeutic (Study Group) and the indifferent points (Control Group), respectively, for 10 weeks. Semen analyses were performed before and after the treatment course. Results: The patients of the Study Group presented a significant increase in the percentage of normal-form sperm compared to the Control Group (calculated U=16.0, critical U=17.0). Conclusion: The Chinese Traditional Medicine acupuncture and moxa techniques significantly increase the percentage of normal-form sperm in infertile patients with oligoastenoteratozoospermia without apparent cause.

The Tropical Cyclone(TC)track prediction using different NWp models and its verification is the critical task to provide prior knowledge about the model errors,which is beneficial for giving the model guidance-based real-time cyclone warning *** study has attempted to verify the Global Forecast System(GFS)model forecasted tropical cyclone track and intensity over the North Indian Ocean(NIO)for the years 2019 and *** is one of the operational models in the India Meteorological Department(IMD),which provides the medium-range weather forecast up to 10 *** forecasted tracks from the GFS forecast are obtained using a vortex tracker developed by Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory(GFDL).A total of 13 tropical cyclones formed over the North Indian Ocean,eight during 2019 and five in 2020 have been considered in this *** accuracy of the model predicted tracks and intensity is verified for five days forecasts(120 h)at 6-h intervals;the track errors are verified in terms of Direct position Error(DpE),Along Track Error(ATE)and Cross-Track Error(CTE).The annual mean DpE over NIO during 2019(51–331 km)is lower than 2020(82–359 km),and the DpE is less than 150 km up to 66 h during 2019 and 48 h during *** positive ATE(76–332 km)indicates the predicted track movement is faster than the observed track during both *** positive CTE values for most forecast lead times suggest that the predicted track is towards the right side of the observed track during both *** cyclone Intensity forecast for the maximum sustained wind speed(Max WS)and central mean sea level pressure(MSLp)are verified in terms of mean error(ME)and root mean square error(RMSE).The errors are lead time ***,most of the time model under-predicted the cyclone intensity during both ***,there is a significant variance in track and intensity errors from the cyclone to cyclone and Bay of Bengal basin to the Arabian Sea basin.
