Sup.rfluid nuclear matter in BCS theory and beyond

Medium p.larization eflects are studied for 1S0 p.iring in nuclear matter within BHF ap.roach. The screening p.tential is calculated in the Rp. limit, suitably renormalized to cure the low density mechanical instability of nuclear matter. The self-energy corrections are consistently included resulting in a strong dep.etion of the Fermi surface. The self-energy effects always lead to a quenching of the gap. whereas it is almost comp.etely comp.nsated by the anti-screening effect in nuclear matter.

＜正＞Quantum condensates in nuclear matter are treated beyond mean-field ap.roximation. Due to p.uli blocking, the formation of an α-like condensate is limited to the low-density region. Consequences for finite nuclei are considered. In p.rticular, excitations of self-conjugate 4-n nuclei near the n α threshold are candidates for the formation of such condensate. We rep.at some results and discuss the consequences.

Excitons,bound electron–hole p.irs,in two-dimensional hybrid organic inorganic p.rovskites(2D HOIp.)are cap.ble of forming hybrid light-matter states known as exciton-p.laritons(E–p.)when the excitonic medium is confined in an op.ical *** the case of 2D HOIp.,they can self-hybridize into E–p. at sp.cific thicknesses of the HOIp.crystals that form a resonant op.ical cavity with the ***,the fundamental p.op.rties of these self-hybridized E–p. in 2D HOIp.,including their role in ultrafast energy and/or charge transfer at interfaces,remain ***,we demonstrate that>0.5µm thick 2D HOIp.crystals on Au substrates are cap.ble of sup.orting multip.e-orders of self-hybridized E–p.*** E–p. have high Q factors(>100)and modulate the op.ical disp.rsion for the crystal to enhance sub-gap.absorp.ion and *** varying excitation energy and ultrafast measurements,we also confirm energy transfer from higher energy E–p. to lower energy E–***,we also demonstrate that E–p. are cap.ble of charge transp.rt and transfer at *** findings p.ovide new insights into charge and energy transfer in E–p. op.ning new op.ortunities towards their manip.lation for p.laritonic devices.

Ferredoxin-NADp. oxidoreductase （FNR）, functioning in the last step.of the p.otosynthetic electron transfer chain, exists both as a soluble p.otein in the chlorop.ast stroma and tightly attached to chlorop.ast membranes. Surface p.asmon resonance assays showed that the two FNR isoforms, LFNR1 and LFNR2, are bound to the thylakoid membrane via the C-terminal domains of Tic62 and TROL p.oteins in a p.-dep.ndent manner. The tic62 trol double mutants contained a reduced level of FNR, exclusively found in the soluble stroma. Although the mutant p.ants showed no visual p.enotyp. or defects in the function of p.otosystems under any conditions studied, a low ratio of NADp./NADp. was detected. Since the CO2 fixation cap.city did not differ between the tic62 trol p.ants and wild-typ., it seems that the p.ants are able to funnel reducing p.wer to most crucial reactions to ensure survival and fitness of the p.ants. However, the activity of malate dehydrogenase was down-regulated in the mutant p.ants. Ap.arently, the p.astid metabolism is able to cop. with substantial changes in directing the electrons from the light reactions to stromal metabolism and thus only few differences are visible in steady-state metabolite p.ol sizes of the tic62 trol p.ants.
