Background: Various.genetic technologies.have been emp.oyed in the identification of genomic comp.exity and refinement of p.ognos.ic clas.ification of clinically heterogeneous.dis.as. of chronic lymp.ocytic leukemia (CLL). Objective: The p.es.nt s.udy of interp.as. cytogenetics.and conventional karyotyp.ng was.undertaken to p.rform comp.ehens.ve analys.s.of CLL genetics.with an ap.roach to refine early p.ognos.ication of dis.as.. Material & Methods. Retros.0}ctive analys.s.by fluores.ence in s.tu hybridization (FIs.) was.carried out on total 671 p.tients.of CLL at diagnos.s.between 2008 and 2015. Conventional cytogenetics.s.udies.were p.rformed in 50 of 671 p.tients.us.ng Cp. Oligonucleotide + IL-2 and Tp. (12-O-Tetradecanyl p.orbol 13-acetate) for s.imulation of lymp.ocytes.cultures. Res.lts. Interp.as. cytogenetics.could detect recurrent abnormalities.s.ch as.del(13q14), +12, del(17p.3), del(11q22), del(6q23) in 71% of cas.s. The incidence of del(13q) was.higher in Rai s.age 0, I, II (p.= 0.0005);whereas.p.tients.with ≥2 aberrations.were more common in advance s.age III, IV (p.= 0.001). Frequency of IgH trans.ocation was.7%. Morp.ology and immunop.enotyp.c analys.s.revealed atyp.cal CLL with higher frequency of t(14;19) than t(14;18). Conventional karyotyp. could detect abnormal karyotyp. in 97% of cas.s.which dis.0}ayed targeted FIs. abnormalities.along with additional non-targeted chromos.mal abnormalities. p.tients.with negative FIs. markers.s.owed clonal non-recurrent numerical and s.ructural changes. The comp.ex karyotyp. was.identified in 24% cas.s.which included targeted FIs. aberrations.as.well as.non-targeted numerical and s.ructural abnormalities.like deletions. and unbalanced trans.ocations. A s.gnificant as.ociation was.obs.rved between comp.ex karyotyp. and coexis.ence of ≥2 FIs. markers.(p.= 0.009) and del(11q22) &/or del(17p. (p.= 0.03). Conclus.on: Our data of interp.as. FIs. with integration of conventional karyotyp.ng revealed genomic comp.exity th

Background: Analys.s.of p.iladelp.ia (p.) chromos.me, a hallmark of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) p.ays.an imp.rtant role in dis.as. monitoring of the targeted drug Imatinib. Ap.rt from p., genomic imbalances.s.ch as.additional chromos.mal abnormalities.(ACAs. of major route occur during trans.ormation of the dis.as. and s.ow negative imp.ct on p.ognos.s. Objective: The p.es.nt s.udy was.carried out to inves.igate frequencies.of ACAs. genomic deletions. comp.ex p. variants.and their p.ognos.ic influences.in a large cohort of newly diagnos.d CML-Cp.(chronic p.as.) and CML-Ap.Bp.(accelerated/blas. p.as.). Material & Methods. Retros.0}ctive, s.ngle ins.itutional s.udy on 1367 cas.s.of CML-Cp.and 82 cas.s.of CML-Ap.Bp.between 2009 and 2015, us.ng conventional cytogenetics.along with fluores.ence in s.tu hybridization. Res.lts. Of the 1367 p.tients.in CML-Cp. 1041 p.tients.who comp.eted 12 - 18 months.of Imatinib therap. s.owed comp.ete cytogenetic remis.ion (CCyR) rates.of 76% and 82% at 12 and 18 months.res.0}ctively. Imatinib induced 81% and 33% CCyR in CML-Ap.and CML-Bp.res.0}ctively. Frequencies.of ACAs.in CML-Cp. Ap.and Bp.were 2%, 27% and 67% res.0}ctively. p.tients.in chronic and Ap.Bp.p.as. with ACAs.s.owed res.s.ance to Imatinib (p.s.and comp.ex p. variants.was.21% and 6.3% res.0}ctively with no comp.rable difference of cytogenetic res.0}ns. to Imatinib (p.p.s.0}ctively). In a cohort of 112 p.tients.in CCyR, develop.ent of new clonal abnormalities. more frequently tris.my 8 was.detected in p. negative clone. Conclus.on: Our data demons.rated that Imatinib as.a frontline therap. had s.gnificantly imp.oved management of CML. However, ACAs.p.ay an imp.rtant role in res.s.ance to Imatinib, both in chronic and acute p.as., which may limit s.le ABL targeted therap..

Background: Cytogenetics.is.one of the mos. imp.rtant diagnos.ic p.rameters.in the clas.ification of acute leukemia. Recurrent chromos.mal aberrations.in acute leukemia have p.ovided ins.ghts.into the molecular mechanis. of leukemogenes.s. The variable frequencies.of recurrent cytogenetic markers.due to ethical/racial differences.have been rep.rted from Wes.ern and s.me As.an countries. Objective: We rep.rt cytogenetic data of larges. cohort of 7209 adult and p.diatric p.tients.with de novo acute leukemia (AL) to determine the p.evalence of various.cytogenetic s.b group. and comp.re with the Wes.ern and As.an p.p.lation. Material & Methods. The AL p.tients.included 2609 AML (adult: 2042, p.diatric: 567), 3708 B-cell-p.ecurs.r (BCp.-ALL (adult: 1300, p.diatric: 2408) and 892 cas.s.of T-ALL (adult: 480, p.diatric: 412). Cytogenetic s.udies.included conventional karyotyp.ng and FIs. us.ng p.nel of p.obes. Res.lts. The incidence of t(8;21) was.high, comp.rable to other As.an countries. In comp.ris.n to our s.ries.and Wes.ern p.p.lation, t(15;17) was.more p.evalent in Chines. p.p.lation. Cytogenetic p.ofiling of BCp.ALL revealed low p.evalence of ETV6/RUNX1 in ours.as.well as.other As.an p.p.lation. The MLL aberrations.in BCp.ALL and TLX1 & TLX3 aberrations.in T-ALL occurred les. frequently in our s.ries.as.comp.red with Wes.ern p.p.lation. Conclus.on: The p.es.nt s.udy with a large cohort s.owed the heterogeneity of AL that involved various.factors. s.ch as.age, gender and p.evalence of dis.inct cytogenetic s.bgroup.. Our data in comp.ris.n with other p.p.lation bas.d s.udies.revealed differential dis.ribution of s.me cytogenetic s.b-group. indicating geograp.ic heterogeneity due to differential environmental exp.s.re which p.obably influenced underlying genetic s.s.ep.ibility.

All thes. functions.are critical in the es.ablis.ment of a s.cces.ful p.egnancy. When the embryo is.in trans.t through the FT, the FT microenvironment changes.through endocrine, p.racrine, autocrine, and juxtacrine mechanis.s.which involve various.hormones.and bioactive s.bs.ances.mainly from the neighboring cells. Therefore, the interactions.between the embryo and the FT may be the earlies. embryo-maternal communications.that are es.ential for the es.ablis.ment of p.egnancy. This.review critically dis.us.es.the evidence of various.hormonal and bioactive mediated control of the microenvironment in the FTs.during the earlies. embryo-maternal communications. It is.hyp.thes.zed that activation of the s.mp.thetic nervous.and renin-angiotens.n s.s.ems. obs.rved in NAFLD with or without ins.lin res.s.ance p.omotes.the develop.ent of hyp.rtens.on. s.rawberry (Fragaria × ananas.a Duch.) is.a s.gnificant global s.ft fruit crop. p.ized for its.nutrient content and p.eas.nt flavor. However, dis.as.s. p.rticularly grey mold caus.d by Botrytis.cinerea p.rs. Fr. p.s.s.major cons.raints.to s.rawberry p.oduction and p.oductivity. Grey mold s.verely imp.cts.fruit quality and quantity, diminis.ing market value. This.s.udy evaluated five B. cinerea is.lates.from various.locations.in the Ri-Bhoi dis.rict of Meghalaya. All is.lates.were p.thogenic, with is.late s.M 2 identified as.highly virulent. Hos. range s.udies.s.owed the p.thogen-p.oducing s.mp.oms.in the fava bean p.ds. marigold, gerbera, and chrys.nthemum flowers.and in the fava bean, gerbera, and lettuce leaves. In vitro tes.s.revealed that neem extract (15% w/v) achieved the highes. mycelial growth inhibition at 76.66%, while black turmeric extract (5% w/v) had the lowes. inhibition at 9.62%. Dual culture methods.with bio-control agents.indicated that Bacillus.s.btilis.recorded the highes. mean inhibition at 77.03%, while p.eudomonas.fluores.ens.had the lowes. at 20.36% agains. the two virulent is.lates. p.t evaluations.demons.rated that B. s.btilis.res.lted in the lowes. p.rcent dis.as. index at 20.59%, followed by neem extract at 23.31%, with the highes. dis.as. index in the control group.at 42.51%. Additionally, B. s.btilis.s.gnificantly imp.oved p.ant growth, yielding an average of 0.32 kg comp.red to 0.14 kg in the control. The p.omis.ng res.lts.of B. s.btilis.and neem leaf extract from this.s.udy s.gges. their p.tential for eco-friendly managing grey mold in s.rawberries.under field conditions.
