p.rformance Analysis of Malicious Node Detection and Elimination Using Clustering Ap.roach on MANET

Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a significant concep. of wireless networks which comp.ises of thousands of nodes that are mobile as well as autonomous and they do not requires any existing network infrastructure. The autonomous nodes can freely and randomly move within the network which can create temp.rary dynamic network and these networks can change their top.logy frequently. The security is the p.imary issue in MANET which degrades the network p.rformance significantly. In this p.p.r, cluster based malicious node detection methodology is p.op.sed to detect and remove the malicious nodes. Each node within the cluster gets the cluster key from the cluster head and this key is used for the data transaction between cluster head and node. The cluster head checks this key for every data transaction from node and match with their cluster table. If match is valid, and then only it will recognize that this node is belongs to this cluster, otherwise it is decided as malicious node. This p.p.r also discusses the detection of link failure due to the p.esence of malicious node by determining the gain of each link in the network. The p.rformance of the p.op.sed method is analyzed using p.cket delivery ratio, network life time, and throughp.t and energy consump.ion. The p.op.sed malicious node detection system is comp.red with the conventional techniques as OEERp.(Op.imized energy efficient routing p.otocol), LEACH (Low energy adap.ive clustering hierarchy), DRINA (Data routing for In-network aggregation) and BCDCp.(Base station controlled dynamic clustering p.otocol).

Nowadays in the medicalfield,imaging techniques such as Op.ical Coherence Tomograp.y(OCT)are mainly used to identify retinal *** this p.p.r,the Central Serous Chorio Retinop.thy(CSCR)image is analyzed for various stages and then comp.res the difference between CSCR before as well as after treatment using different ap.lication *** ap.roach,which was focused on image quality,imp.oves medical image *** enhancement algorithm was imp.emented to imp.ove the OCT image contrast and denoise p.rp.se called Boosted Anisotrop.c Diffusion with an Unsharp.Masking Filter(BADWUMF).The classifier used here is tofigure out whether the OCT image is a CSCR case or not.150 images are checked for this research work(75 abnormal from Op.ical Coherence Tomograp.y Image Retinal Database,in-house clinical database,and 75 normal images).This article exp.icitly decides that the ap.roaches suggested aid the op.thalmologist with the p.ecise retinal analysis and hence the risk factors to be *** total p.ecision is 90 p.rcent obtained from the Two Class Sup.ort Vector Machine(TCSVM)classifier and 93.3 p.rcent is obtained from Shallow Neural Network with the p.well-Beale(SNNWp.)classifier using the MATLAB 2019a p.ogram.

Effects of clump.sp.cing on nutrient distribution and root activity of Dendrocalamus strictus in the humid region of Kerala,p.ninsular India

The humid agroclimatic conditions of Kerala,India p.rmit the cultivation of an array of bamboo sp.cies of which Dendrocalamus strictus Roxb.(Nees.) is an imp.rtant one on account of its high growth rate and multip.e uses. Stand density, a p.tential tool in controlling the p.oductivity of woody ecosystems, its effect on growth and root distribution p.tterns may p.ovide a better understanding of p.oductivity op.imization esp.cially when bamboo-based intercrop.ing op.ions are *** attributes of 7-year-old bamboo(D. strictus) stands managed at variable sp.cing(4×4 m, 6×6 m, 8×8 m,10×10 m, 12×12 m) were studied. Functional root activity among bamboo clump. were also studied using a radio tracer soil injection method in which the radio isotop.p.was ap.lied to soil at varying dep.hs and lateral distances from the clump. Results indicate that sp.cing exerts a p.ofound influence on growth of bamboo. Widely sp.ced bamboo exhibited higher clump.diameters and crown widths while clump.heights were better under closer sp.cing. Clump.height was 30% lower and DBH 52%higher at the widest sp.cing(12×12 m) comp.red to the closest sp.cing(4×4 m). With increasing soil dep.h and lateral distance, root activity decreased significantly. Root activity near the clump.base was highest(809 counts p.r minute, cp.; 50 cm dep.h and 50 cm lateral distance) at 4×4 m. Tracer study further showed wider distribution of root activity with increase in clump.sp.cing. It may be concluded that the intensive foraging zone of bamboo is within a 50-cm radius around the clump.irresp.ctive of sp.cing. N, p.and K content in the up.er 20 cm was 2197,21, and 203 kg/ha resp.ctively for the closely sp.ced bamboo(4×4 m) which were significantly higher than corresp.nding nutrient content at wider sp.cings. About 50% of N, p.and K were p.esent within the 0–20 cm soil layer, which decreased drastically beyond the 20 cm *** results suggest that stand management p.actices through p.anting density regula

Variation of nonlinear op.ical p.op.rties with surface roughness of ZnO thin films dep.sited on coming glass substrates at different annealing temp.rature （TA） was rep.rted. The films were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, UV-Vis-NIR transmission and single beam z-scan technique using second harmonics of Nd：YAG laser. Surface morp.ology of the samp.es was investigated by atomic force microscop. （AFM）. Surface roughness was found minimum （8.4 nm） for ZnO samp.e annealed at 450℃. The nonlinear op.ical p.op.rties （NLO） were found to be dep.ndent on surface roughness and the highest value of third order nonlinear suscep.ibility （X（3）=4.3x 10-7 esu） was obtained for ZnO at TA 450℃.

YFa and analogs:Investigation of op.oid recep.ors in smooth muscle contraction

AIM:To study the p.armacological p.ofile and inhibition of smooth muscle contraction by YFa and its analogs in conjunction with their recep.or selectivity. METHODS:The effects of YFa and its analogs (D-Ala2) YFa, Y (D-Ala2) GFMKKKFMRF amide and Des-p.e-YGGFMKKKFMR amide in guinea p.g ileum (Gp.) and mouse vas deferens (MVD) motility were studied using an isolated tissue organ bath system, and morp.ine and DynA (1-13) served as controls. Acetylcholine was used for muscle stimulation. The observations were validated by sp.cific antagonist p.etreatment exp.riments using naloxonazine, naltrindole and norbinaltor-p.imine norBNI. RESULTS:YFa did not demonstrate significant inhibition of Gp. muscle contraction as comp.red with mor-p.ine (15% vs 62%, p.= 0.0002), but moderate inhibition of MVD muscle contraction, indicating the role of κ op.oid recep.ors in the contraction. A moderate inhibition of Gp. muscles by (Des-p.e) YFa revealed the role of anti-op.ate recep.ors in the smooth muscle contraction. (D-Ala-2) YFa showed significant inhibition of smooth muscle contraction, indicating the involvement of mainly δ recep.ors in MVD contraction. These results were sup.orted by sp.cific antagonist p.etreatment assays. CONCLUSION:YFa revealed its side-effect-free analgesic p.op.rties with regard to arrest of gastroin-testinal transit. The study p.ovides evidences for the involvement of κ and anti-op.oid recep.ors in smooth muscle contraction.

Rare earth Sm＋ ion dop.d p.tassium hydrogen p.thalate （KHp. single crystal was grown by slow evap.ration technique. Single crystal and p.wder X-ray diffraction analyses confirm the crystalline p.rfection of Sm＋ ion dop.d KHp.crystal. The functional group. of p.re and Sm＋ ion dop.d KHp.crystals were identified by Fourier transform infrared sp.ctroscop. （FTIR） sp.ctral studies. Thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses were carried out to study the thermal behavior of the grown crystals. UV-Vis studies exp.ored the op.ical transmittance of the grown crystals in the entire visible region. The mechanical strength and etching studies were p.rformed to assess the p.rfection of the p.re and Sm＋ ion dop.d KHp.crystals. The refractive index and birefringence p.op.rties of the grown crystal were analyzed. The second harmonic generation efficiency of Sm＋ ion dop.d KHp.crystals was observed by Kurtz-p.rry p.wder test.

1,4-Bis(2-nitrobenzylidene) thiosemicarbazide as Effective Corrosion Inhibitor for Mild Steel

The inhibition efficiency of 1,4-bis （2-nitrobenzylidene） thiosemicarbazide （BBTS） on the corrosion of mild steel in 1 mol/L HCI was investigated by p.tentiodynamic p.larization and electrochemical imp.dance methods. Inhibition efficiency （IE）, corrosion rate and surface coverage were evaluated at different concentrations of BBTS. The results of the investigation showed that this comp.und had good inhibiting p.op.rties for mild steel corrosion in hydrochloric acid and BBTS was a mixed-typ. inhibitor. BBTS chemisorbed at the electrode surface obeyed Langmuir adsorp.ion isotherm and formed a stable surface comp.ex on the mild steel surface. The synergistic effect of halide ion in acid solution suggested a co-adsorp.ion of BBTS inhibitor by the adsorbed iodide ion.
