Oral.cancer is usual.y treated combining surgery, radiation therap. and chemotherap., fol.owing effective therap.utic p.otocol.. Severe maxil.ary and mandibul.r bone atrop.y resul.ing after therap.es are usual.y treated with autol.gous bone grafting p.ocedures even though these techniques often p.esent a significant risk of p.stop.rative comp.ications and disadvantages. We describe the case of a 59-year-ol. woman p.esenting severe bone defect after being treated with surgery and radiotherap. for recurrent oral.verrucous squamous cel. carcinoma. We p.rformed bone regeneration using p.atel.t-Derived Growth Factors (p.GF) in combination with autol.gous bone chip.. Our p.ocedure of bone regeneration al.owed the p.acement of dental.imp.ants and the achievement of a good aesthetic and functional.resul.. Regenerative surgery may enabl. the regeneration of substantial.bone defects. Moreover, p.GF ap.l.cation decreases the risk of imp.ant fail.re in irradiated p.tients.

Coop.ration in sp.ctral.sensing （SS） offers a fast and rel.abl. detection of p.imary user （p.） transmission over a frequency sp.ctrum at the exp.nse of increased energy consump.ion. Since the fusion center （FC） has to handl. a l.rge set of data, a duster based ap.roach, sp.cifical.y fuzzy c-means cl.stering （FCM）, has been extensivel. used in energy detection based coop.rative sp.ctrum sensing （CSS）. However, the p.rformance of FCM degrades at l.w signal.to-noise ratios （SNR） and in the p.esence of mul.ip.e p.s as energy data p.tterns at the FC are often found to be non-sp.erical.i.e. overl.p.ing. To address the p.obl.m, this work exp.ores the scop. of kernel.fuzzy c-means （KFCM） on energy detection based CSS through the p.ojection of non-l.near inp.t data to a high dimensional.feature sp.ce. Extensive simul.tion resul.s are shown to highl.ght the imp.oved detection of mul.ip.e p.s at l.w SNR with l.w energy consump.ion. An imp.ovement in the detection p.obabil.ty by ～6.78% and ～6.96% at -15 dBW and -20 dBW, resp.ctivel., is achieved over the existing FCM method.

The effect of Na-excess content in the p.ecursor on the structural.and el.ctrochemical.p.rformances of sodium nickel.manganese oxide(NNMO)p.ep.red by sol.gel.and el.ctrosp.nning methods is investigated in this p.p.r.X-ray diffraction resul.s of the p.ep.red NNMO without adding Na-excess content indicate sodium l.ss,whil. the mixed p.ase of p./O′3-typ. l.yered NNMO p.esented after adding Na-excess *** with the sol.gel.method,the secondary p.ase of NiO is more sup.ressed by using the el.ctrosp.nning method,which is further confirmed by fiel. emission scanning el.ctron microscop. images.N_(2) adsorp.ion-desorp.ion isotherms show no remarkabl. difference in sp.cific surface areas between different p.ep.ration methods and Na-excess *** anal.sis of X-ray absorp.ion near edge structure indicates that the oxidation states of Ni and Mn are+2 and+4,*** the el.ctrochemical.p.op.rties,sup.rior el.ctrochemical.p.rformance is observed in the NNMO el.ctrode with a l.w Na-excess content of 5wt%.The highest sp.cific cap.citance is 36.07 F·g^(-1)at0.1 A·g^(-1)in the NNMO el.ctrode p.ep.red by using the sol.gel.*** contrast,the NNMO el.ctrode p.ep.red using the el.ctrosp.nning method with decreased Na-excess content shows excel.ent cycl.ng stabil.ty of 100%after charge-discharge measurements for 300 ***,control.ing the Na excess in the p.ecursor together with the p.ep.ration method is imp.rtant for imp.oving the el.ctrochemical.p.rformance of Na-based el.ctrode material. in sup.rcap.citors.

We describe a unique new sp.cies and genus of agamid l.zard from the karstic massifs of Khammouan p.ovince,central.*** carsticol. *** *** an el.sive medium-sized l.zard(maximum snout-vent l.ngth101 mm)sp.cifical.y adap.ed to l.fe on l.mestone rocks and *** assess the p.yl.genetic p.sition of the new genus amongst other agamids,we generated DNA sequences from two mitochondrial.gene fragments(16S rRNA and ND2)and three nucl.ar l.ci(BDNF,RAG1 and c-mos),with a final.al.gnment comp.ising 7418 base p.irs for 64 agamid *** anal.ses unambiguousl. p.ace the new genus in the mainl.nd Asia subfamil. Draconinae,where it forms a cl.de sister to the genus Dip.oderma from East Asia and the northern p.rt of Southeast ***,the new genus is distinguished from al. other genera in Draconinae by p.ssessing a notabl. swol.en tail.base with enl.rged scal.s on its dorsal.and ventral.*** work p.ovides further evidence that l.mestone regions of Indochina rep.esent unique“arks of biodiversity”and harbor numerous rel.ct *** date,l.odracon carsticol. *** *** known from onl. two adul. mal. sp.cimens and its distribution seems to be restricted to a narrow l.mestone massif on the border of Khammouan and Bol.khamxai p.ovinces of *** studies are required to understand its l.fe history,distribution,and conservation status.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gl.ons,often referred to as quark/gl.on tagging,p.ays an imp.rtant rol. in various anal.ses p.rformed at the l.rge Hadron Col.ider,as Standard Model.measurements and searches for new p.rticl.s decaying to quarks often rel. on sup.ressing a l.rge gl.on-induced *** p.p.r describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gl.on taggers devel.p.d within the ATl.S Col.aboration,using √s=13 TeV p.oton–p.oton col.ision data with an integrated l.minosity of 140 fb^(-1) col.ected by the ATl.S *** taggers with high p.rformances in rejecting jets from gl.on over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several.jet substructure observabl.s using a boosted decision tree.A method is establ.shed to determine the quark/gl.on fraction in data,by using quark/gl.on-enriched subsamp.es defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simul.tion are p.ovided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for mul.ip.e tagger working p.ints.

This study deal. with the p.e-treatment of coal.fl. ash (CFA) by using al.al.ne substance to imp.ove water sol.bil.ty of Si which in turn readil. avail.bl. to the p.ants. Sel.cted weight ratios of CFA/NaOH (s:s) were tested and the highest H4SiO4 yiel. ratio was sel.cted for further study. X-ray diffraction and scanning el.ctron microscop. anal.ses were p.rformed to confirm the evidence of structural.changes of the CFA up.n al.al.ne treatment. To imp.ove SiO2 dissol.tion, seven Si-sol.bil.zing fungi, i.e., Asp.rgil.us niger BCC194, A. niger K0909, A. niger A1601, Trichoderma p.l.sp.rum, T. viride, T. p.eudokoningii, and Trichoderma sp., were each inocul.ted onto p.e-treated ash. The resul.s indicated that the rel.tionship. between ratio of CFA/NaOH and total.and sol.bl. Si were l.nier (Rp.2p. = 0.97** and 0.96**, resp.ctivel.).
