The incre asing interest in RNA modifications has signifcantly advanced epigenomic and epitranscriptomic *** study focuses on the immuno oncological impact of ALYREF in human cancer through a pan-cancer analysis,enhancing understanding of this gene's role in *** observed differential ALYREF expression between tumor and normal samples,correl ating strongly with prognosis in various cancers,particularly kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma(KIRP)and liver hepatocellular carcinoma(LIHC).ALYREF showed a negative correlation with most tumor-infitrating cells in lung squamous cell carcinoma(LUSC)and lymphoid neoplasm difuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBC),while positive correlations were noted in IIHC,kidney chromophobe(KICH),mesothelioma(MESO),KIRP,pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma(PARD),and glioma(GBMLGG).Aditionally,ALYREF expression was closely associated with tumor heterogeneity,stemness indices,and a high mutation rate in TP53 across these *** conclusion,ALYREF may serve as an oncogenic biomarker in numerous cancers,meriting further research attention.

Colorectal cancer remains a signifi cant cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide,mainly because of tumor relapse and *** stem cells(CSCs)are considered to be the main cause of resistance to chemotherapeutic agents,as well as being responsible for distant *** CSCs themselves possess innate abilities for self-renewal and differentiation,the environment surrounding CSCs provides oxygen,nutrients and secreted factors,and also supports angiogenesis,thus it's responsible for maintaining their CSC ***,extensive investigations have revealed that obesity,accompanied by excess visceral adipose tissue,induces chronic infl ammation,and is linked to the risk and progression of several gastrointestinal cancers,through modulating the capacities of the *** review presents the evidence linking colorectal CSCs and their environment and summarizes our current understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying this relationship.

Texture acquisition of a large scale scene is one of the critical research areas in computer vision and can be used in other application areas such as computer graphics (CG), the intelligent transportation system (ITS) and the 3D geographic information system (GIS). Moreover, to acquire texture without noise (e.g., a shadow, an obstacle body) is vital for such work. Although obstacles can be removed by using 3D geometric data, shadow elimination is still a difficult problem and strongly required for the CG and ITS community, especially for city modeling and simulation purposes. In this paper, we propose an automatic multiple image fusion technique and an efficient and simple shadow removing technique to retrieve high quality texture images of an urban area. The image fusion can be efficiently achieved by epipolar plane image (EPI) analysis, and the shadow elimination can be successfully carried out by an illumination independent color clustering technique. The strength of this algorithm is that we can successfully fuse multiple images and eliminate shadows from the fused single image, especially in low dynamic range images, which have proven difficult using previous techniques.

A Sectioning Technique for Extraction of Impacted Third Molar by Using a Straight Handpiece and Carbide Bur: Case Report

Extraction of the lower third molar is one of the most common procedures performed in oral surgery. In general, impacted tooth extraction involves sectioning the tooth’s crown and roots. In order to divide the impacted tooth so that it can be extracted, high-speed air turbine drills are frequently used. However, complications related to air turbine drills may occur. In this report, we propose an alternative tooth sectioning method that obviates the need for air turbine drill use by using a low-speed straight handpiece and carbide bur. A 21-year-old female patient presented to the institute’s dental hospital complaining of symptoms localized to the left lower third molar tooth that were suggestive of impaction. After physical examination, tooth extraction of the impacted left lower third molar was proposed and the patient consented to the procedure. The crown was divided using a conventional straight low-speed handpiece and carbide bur. This carbide bur can easily cut through the enamel of crown. On post-operative day number five, suture was removed and the wound was extremely clear. This technique could minimise intra-operative time and reduce the morbidity associated with air turbine drill assisted lower third molar extraction.
