BACkGROUND Congenital knee dislocation(CkD)is a rare condition,which accounts for 1%of congenital hip *** can present as an isolated condition or coexist with other genetic *** options include serial casting,percutaneous quadriceps recession,and V-Y quadricepsplasty(VYQ).The pathogenesis and hereditary patterns of CkD are not fully understood,with most cases being *** is usually managed immediately after ***,in this report,the patient was neglected for 2 *** SUmmARY A 2-year-old girl with bilateral CkD after birth presented to our hospital after failed serial casting;the patient had seizures and limited access to healthcare because of her family’s low socioeconomic *** birth was noted for a breech presentation accompanied by *** delivery took a long time,requiring immediate medical *** an infant,she had chronic diseases,including a small patent ductus arteriole,multicystic dysplastic kidney disease,and *** was found to have a bilateral knee dislocation of approximately-90°on hyperextension.A multidisciplinary team was involved,and medical care was *** underwent VYQ plus semitendinosus and sartorius *** four postoperative follow-ups,her knees were regaining mobility,and she could walk for 2-3 steps without *** This report highlights the importance of early intervention and recommends extensive studies of the management in similar cases.

The vorticity analysis technique was applied to measure the different lithological units,such as schist,metagranite and metavolcano-sedimentary rocks,which are present in the Halaban *** work aims to interpret the relationship between the different lithologies and the tectonic setting,in order to elucidate the nature of kinematic analysis in the Halaban *** kinematic analyses were applied to feldspar porphyroclasts,quartz and hornblende for twenty-six *** kinematic vorticity number(Wm)for deformed rocks in the study area ranged from~0.6 to *** direction of the long axes for finite strain data(X axes)revealed a WNW trend with shallow *** direction of the short axes for finite strain data(Z axes)were represented by vertical with associated horizontal *** results of the kinematic vorticity and strain analyses are characterized by simple shear with different degrees of deformation in the Halaban ***,our finite strain data shows no significant volume change during *** subhorizontal foliation was synchronized with thrusting and ***,throughout the overlying nappes,the same attitudes of tectonic contacts are observable,the nappes in the orogens being formed from simple shear deformation.

A series of CuO-k2mo4013 composite materials have been prepared by mixing appropriates quantities, in solid state, of CuO and pure k2mo4013 according to the molar ratios CuO/k2mo4013 = 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, and 1. The prepared samples were characterized using techniques such as X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR）, differential thermal analysis （DTA）, nitrogen adsorption measurements, and UV spectroscopy. According to XRD results, the phase composition of the CuO-kemo4013 systems has significantly changed by increasing the molar ratio CuO/ k2mo4013 where new phases, identified as k2mo3Olo and CumoO4, have been detected. The formation of these new phases has been tracked through FT-IR and DTA measurements. The nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements also reveal a change in the pore type of the studied materials due to the presence of these new phases. The photocatalytic activities of k2m04OI3 and CuO-k2mo4013 composites were studied by means of monitoring the ability of these materials to the degradation, under UV irradiation, of methyl red in liquid media. It was found that the phase composition of the used samples significantly controls their photocatalytic activities.

The nonlinear properties of small amplitude electron-acoustic(EA) solitary and shock waves in a homogeneous system of unmagnetized collisionless plasma with nonextensive distribution for hot electrons have been investigated.A reductive perturbation method used to obtain the kadomstev-Petviashvili-Burgers *** analysis has been discussed for non-dissipative system in the absence of Burgers term and reveals different classes of the traveling wave *** obtained solutions are related to periodic and soliton waves and their behavior are shown *** the presence of the Burgers term,the EXP-function method is used to solve the kadomstev-Petviashvih-Burgers equation and the obtained solution is related to shock *** obtained results may be helpful in better conception of waves propagation in various space plasma environments as well as in inertial confinement fusion laboratory plasmas.

The Qassim province is one of the most arid regions of Saudi Arabia, however heavy rainfall events have led to water logging problems in the populated centers like Buraidah mainly as a consequence of construction in low lying areas and valleys. Urban rain storm water logging problem were reported at 4 localities in the Buraidah municipal area after heavy rainfall in November 2008 and march 2009. The logged water from these sites were directed to 4 manmade lakes however the stagnant water in these lakes posed a serious environmental threat mainly in the form of water borne disease. keeping this problem in mind, a detailed geophysical investigation in the form of Electrical Resistivity Tomography was carried out using the SYSCAL Pro Unit at these 4 locations with a dipole-dipole configuration. The survey was helpful in delineating the wet zones from the dry ones and based on the interpretations the optimum depth and sites of 4 injections bore-wells were determined at each locality. These injection bore-well would serve the dual propose of getting rid of the stagnant water in these lakes and also recharging the underlying aquifers.

Background: Chronic diseases continue to cause high morbidity and mortality in Saudi Arabia. Patients severing from diabetes mellitus, hypertension and associated complications have recently increased and most of these patients find it extremely difficult to understand or cope with their illness. The objective of this study is to determine the level of patients’ enablement in chronic disease and its predictors. methods: A community based cross-sectional study was conducted between December 2014 and January 2015. Six hundred and four (604) Patients attending the Chronic Disease Clinic in Alwazarat Health center were randomly selected to participate in the study. Patients aged 18 years and above, who willingly agreed to participate, were included in the study. Self-reported questionnaire was used to determine patient level of enablement. Descriptive statistics such as mean and median were calculated and binary logistic regression was employed to determine the predictors of patient’s enablement to chronic disease. Results: Our results show that five hundred and sixty five (565) out of (604) patients participated in the study with 86.6% response rate. Type 2 diabetes mellitus affecting 40.65% while hypertension affecting 37.79% of the patients in Al wazarat health center. Patient’s enablement to chronic disease was very low and ranged between 2.41 and 1.53 out of 5.0. Binary logistic regression shows that age (male: OR;0.84, 95% CI, 0.72 - 1.04, female. OR;1.04, 95% CI 0.88 - 1.39), marital status (male: OR;0.72, 95% CI 0.54 - 1.11, female: OR 1.01;95% CI 0.82 - 1.29), patient educational level and number of problems discussed with physician and consultation length between male patients and their physician were statistically significant and correlated with patients enablement to chronic disease (P ment in chronic disease is very low but constitutes an important arm in patients care management. This paper presents a modified method to solve multi-objective nonlinear programming problems with fuzzy parameters in its objective functions and these fuzzy parameters are characterized by fuzzy numbers. The modified method is based on normalized trade-off weights. The obtained stability set corresponding to α-Pareto optimal solution, using our method, is investigated. moreover, an algorithm for obtaining any subset of the parametric space which has the same corresponding α-Pareto optimal solution is presented. Finally, a numerical example to illustrate our method is also given.
