Double active sites promoting hydrogen evolution activity and stability of CoRuOH/Co_(2)P by rapid hydrolysis

Cobalt-based phosphides show excellent hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance,however,improving the intrinsic activity and stability of it in alkaline electrolyte still remains a ***,CoRuOH/Co_(2)P/CF with heterojunction structure was developed by means of molten salt and rapid hydrolysis(30 s).The OH-from rapid surface hydrolysis of Co_(2)P as a hydrogen adsorption site can facilitate the formation of thin CoRuOH layer as a water dissociation site,which may bring out better synergistic effect for alkaline ***,the covering of CoRuOH can improve the stability of Co_(2)P for *** drives at 100 mA/cm^(2),it only requires overpotential of 81 mV in 1.0 mol/L KOH(25℃).Even at higher current density(1000 mA/cm^(2)),CoRuOH/Co_(2)P/CF can also operate stability for at least 100 *** coupling with NiFe-LDH/IF in a two-electrode system,the voltage of NiFe-LDH/IF(+)||CoRuOH/Co_(2)P/CF(-)at 1000 mA/cm^(2)is merely 1.77 V with 100 h,demonstrating great potential for water *** implementation of this work provides a new strategy and reference for the further improvement of transition metal phosphides as HER electrocatalysts.

Grain yield and N uptake of maize in response to increased plant density under reduced water and nitrogen supply conditions

The development of modern agriculture requires the reduction of water and chemical N fertilizer *** the planting density can maintain higher yields,but also consumes more of these restrictive ***,whether an increased maize density can compensate for the negative effects of reduced water and N supply on grain yield and N uptake in the arid irrigated areas remains *** study is part of a long-term positioning trial that started in 2016.A split-split plot field experiment of maize was implemented in the arid irrigated area of northwestern China in 2020 to *** treatments included two irrigation levels:local conventional irrigation reduced by 20%(W1,3,240 m^(3)ha^(-1))and local conventional irrigation(W2,4,050 m^(3)ha^(-1));two N application rates:local conventional N reduced by 25%(N1,270 kg ha^(-1))and local conventional N(360 kg ha^(-1));and three planting densities:local conventional density(D1,75,000 plants ha^(-1)),density increased by 30%(D2,97,500 plants ha-1),and density increased by 60%(D3,120,000 plants ha^(-1)).Our results showed that the grain yield and aboveground N accumulation of maize were lower under the reduced water and N inputs,but increasing the maize density by 30% can compensate for the reductions of grain yield and aboveground N accumulation caused by the reduced water and N *** water was reduced while the N application rate remained unchanged,increasing the planting density by 30% enhanced grain yield by 13.9% and aboveground N accumulation by 15.3%.Under reduced water and N inputs,increasing the maize density by 30% enhanced N uptake efficiency and N partial factor productivity,and it also compensated for the N harvest index and N metabolic related enzyme *** with W2N2D1,the N uptake efficiency and N partial factor productivity increased by 28.6 and 17.6%under W1N1D2.W1N2D2 had 8.4% higher N uptake efficiency and 13.9% higher N partial factor productivity than W2N2D1.W1N2D2 improv

Silicon quantum dots(SiQDs)with high water-soluble and favorable photostability were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal *** average diameter of SiQDs was 2.02 nm characterized by transmission electron *** was to be noted that the as-prepared SiQDs showed eff ective antibacterial activity,which was attributed to electrostatic interaction and the generation of reactive oxygen *** minimum inhibitory concentration of SiQDs against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was 0.45 mg/mL and 0.38 mg/mL,***,based on the static quenching eff ect-induced fluorescence quenching mechanism,the SiQDs exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity for detecting tetracyclines(TC).A good linear relationship was obtained between the fluorescence intensity of SiQDs and the concentration of tetracycline(TC)in the range of 0–0.08μmol/L(R^(2)=0.9993)with a detection limit of 0.0176μmol/***,the TC content in the honey samples was determined using the *** the results suggest that the as-prepared SiQDs can be a potential fluorescent probe for application in antibacterial and analysis.

Energy Storage Operation Modes in Typical Electricity Market and Their Implications for China

As the Chinese government proposes ambitious plans to promote low-carbon transition,energy storage will play a pivotal role in China’s future power ***,due to the lack of a mature electricity market environment and corresponding mechanisms,current energy storage in China faces problems such as unclear operational models,insufficient cost recovery mechanisms,and a single investment entity,making it difficult to support the rapid development of the energy storage *** contrast,European and American countries have already embarked on certain practices in energy storage operation *** exploration of key issues such as investment entities,market participation forms,and cost recovery channels in both front and back markets,a wealth of mature experiences has been ***,this paper first summarizes the existing practices of energy storage operation models in North America,Europe,and Australia’s electricity markets separately from front and back markets,finding that perfect market mechanisms and reasonable subsidy policies are among the main drivers for promoting the rapid development of energy storage ***,combined with the actual development of China’s electricity market,it explores three key issues affecting the construction of costsharing mechanisms for energy storage under market conditions:Market participation forms,investment and operation modes,and cost recovery ***,in line with the development expectations of China’s future electricitymarket,suggestions are proposed fromfour aspects:Market environment construction,electricity price formation mechanism,cost sharing path,and policy subsidy mechanism,to promote the healthy and rapid development of China’s energy storage industry.

Intergeneric chromosome-specific painting reveals differential chromosomal transmission from Tripidium arundinaceum in sugarcane progeny

Sugarcane has recently attracted increasing attention for its potential as a source of sugar and bioethanol, so increasing its yield is essential to ensure the sugar security and bioenergy production. Intergeneric hybridization is a highly efficient method to produce new genetic variants of crop plants, particularly those species with high ploidy such as sugarcane(Saccharum spp.). Tripidium arundinaceum exhibits many desirable agronomic traits, and has been widely studied to produce hybrids with improved stress tolerance and other characteristics in sugarcane breeding. However, the genetic relationship between T. arundinaceum and Saccharum species, and the individual T. arundinaceum chromosomal compositions in sugarcane hybrids are still elusive. Here we used whole-genome single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) to ascertain the phylogenetic relationships between these species and found that T. arundinaceum is more closely related to Saccharum than Sorghum, in contrast to the previous narrow genetic analyses using chloroplast DNA. Additionally, oligonucleotide(oligo)-based chromosome-specific painting derived from Saccharum officinarum was able to distinctly identify the chromosomes of T. arundinaceum. We developed the oligo-genomic in situ hybridization(GISH) system for the first time, to unveil the novel chromosome translocations and the transmission of individual T. arundinaceum chromosomes in sugarcane progeny. Notably,we discovered that the chromosomal transmission of T. arundinaceum exhibited several different inheritance modes,including n, 2n, and over 2n in the BC1 progenies. Such inheritance patterns may have resulted from first division restitution(FDR) or FDR+nondisjunction of a chromosome with the sister chromatids in the second meiosis division/second division restitution(FDR+NSC/SDR) model during meiosis. These results will be of substantial benefit for the further selection of T. arundinaceum chromosomes for sugarcane genetic improvement.

螺旋波是心室跳动过速和纤维性颤动的根源,钉扎螺旋波相对于自由螺旋波来说更难消除.本文采用格子Boltzmann方法求解,以FitzHugh-Nagumo模型为对象,研究了使用反馈控制法消除钉扎螺旋波.数值结果表明,无论钉扎螺旋波钉在圆形障碍物还是矩形障碍物上,反馈控制法对其都具有很好的控制作用.此外,通过数值模拟系统研究了可激性系数、反馈控制信号幅度、记录反馈信号时间和障碍物的大小对钉扎螺旋波的控制情况.研究表明,钉扎螺旋波消除有三种情况.首先,反馈控制信号幅度和可激性系数与钉扎螺旋波消除所需的时间有关,反馈控制信号幅度越大或可激性系数越小,钉扎螺旋波消除越快.其次,障碍物大小和可激性系数影响着能成功消除钉扎螺旋波下记录反馈信号时间与加入反馈控制时间之间对应的时间间隔.最后,在保持加入反馈控制时间不变的情况下,记录反馈信号时间影响着能成功消除钉扎螺旋波所需的最小反馈控制信号幅度.

Structural knowledge-driven meta-learning for task offloading in vehicular networks with integrated communications,sensing and computing

Task offloading is a potential solution to satisfy the strict requirements of computation-intensive and latency-sensitive vehicular applications due to the limited onboard computing ***,the overwhelming upload traffic may lead to unacceptable uploading *** tackle this issue,for tasks taking environmental data as input,the data perceived by roadside units(RSU)equipped with several sensors can be directly exploited for computation,resulting in a novel task offloading paradigm with integrated communications,sensing and computing(I-CSC).With this paradigm,vehicles can select to upload their sensed data to RSUs or transmit computing instructions to RSUs during the *** optimizing the computation mode and network resources,in this paper,we investigate an I-CSC-based task offloading problem to reduce the cost caused by resource consumption while guaranteeing the latency of each *** this nonconvex problem can be handled by the alternating minimization(AM)algorithm that alternatively minimizes the divided four sub-problems,it leads to high computational complexity and local optimal *** tackle this challenge,we propose a creative structural knowledge-driven meta-learning(SKDML)method,involving both the model-based AM algorithm and neural ***,borrowing the iterative structure of the AM algorithm,also referred to as structural knowledge,the proposed SKDML adopts long short-term memory(LSTM)networkbased meta-learning to learn an adaptive optimizer for updating variables in each sub-problem,instead of the handcrafted counterpart in the AM ***,to pull out the solution from the local optimum,our proposed SKDML updates parameters in LSTM with the global loss *** results demonstrate that our method outperforms both the AM algorithm and the meta-learning without structural knowledge in terms of both the online processing time and the network performance.
