The International Conference on Materials and Energy(ICOME)was held in Metz on June 2021 following the earlier successful conferences of the same series held in Tunisia in 2019,spain in 2018,China in 2017,France in 2016 and Morocco in *** 2021 event should be regarded as a late realization of the ICOME 2020 conferences,which had to be delayed due to the pandemic.A significant number of papers presented in the framework of this conference have been selected for publication in the Fluid Dynamics and Material Processing international peer reviewed Journal given the relevance of the treated subjects to the aims and scope of this journal and the high quality of these *** foreword provides a critical review of the 2021 conference aims in relation to its potential impact on the fields of Materials and Energy and related societal benefits.

Using the machinery of Lie group analysis,the nonlinear system of coupled Burgers-type equations is *** the infinitesimal generators in the optimal system of subalgebra of the said Lie algebras,it leads to two nonequivalent similarity transformations by using it we obtain two reductions in the form of system of nonlinear ordinary differential *** search for solutions of these systems by using the G'/G-method has yielded certain exact solutions expressed by rational functions,hyperbolic functions,and trigonometric *** figures are given to show the properties of the solutions.

The present study quantifies the relationship between ultraviolet-B(UVB) and broadband solar radiation(G) at Qena,*** from 10-year hourly integrated totals for both UVB and G on a horizontal surface were used to determine the best fit between the two radiation *** the basis of the correlation of determination(r2),a second-order polynomial was determined to provide the best *** the purpose of developing an empirical model to estimate UVB,all of the cases of UVB and G from a nine-year study from 2001 to 2009 were *** and seasonal empirical models,as well as a general expression,were established for UVB as a function of *** values of r2 ranged from 0.90 to *** using a new dataset of G,the estimated and the corresponding measured values of UVB were determined to be in good agreement whereby the values of r2 between the two ranged from 0.91 to *** addition,the significance and performance of the regression forms were evaluated with the aid of several statistical analysis *** values of the index of modeling(d) and coefficient of modeling efficiency(ME) were close to ***,the values of RMsE,mean bias error(MBE),and mean absolute error(MAE) were lower than the experimental *** the basis of this analysis,it has been determined that the suggested regression forms can be used to estimate UVB when it difficult to obtain measurements or when measurements are available only for limited periods at the studied region.

Investigation of climate change impacts on food security has become a global hot *** so,efforts to mitigate these issues in arid regions have been ***,in this paper,further research is discussed based on data obtained from various crop and climate *** DssATcrop models(CMs)(CEREsWheat and N-Wheat)were calibrated with two wheat cultivars(Gemiza9 and Misr1).A baseline simulation(1981-2010)was compared with different scenarios of simulations using three Global Climate Models(GCMs)for the 2030s,2050s and *** impacts of climate change were assessed using the GCMs and CMs under the high emission Representative Concentration Pathway(RCP8.5).Results predicted decreased wheat grain yields by a mean of 8.7%,11.4%and 13.2%in the 2030s,2050s and 2080s,respectively,relative to the baseline *** impacts of climatic change are probable,despite some uncertainties within the GCMs(i.e.,2.1%,5.0%and 8.0%)and CMs(i.e.,2.2%,6.0%and 9.2%).Changing the planting date with a scenario of plus or minus 5 or 10 days from the common practice was assessed as a potentially effective adaptation option,which may partially offset the negative impacts of climate *** the sowing date by 10 days(from 20 November to 30 November)proved the optimum scenario and decreased further reduction in wheat yields resulting from climate change to 5.2%,6.8%and 8.5%in the 2030s,2050s and 2080s,respectively,compared with the 20 November *** planting 5-days earlier scenario showed a decreased impact on climate change ***,the 10-days early planting scenario increased yield reduction under projected climate *** cultivar Misr1 was more resistant to rising temperature than *** the negative impacts of projected climate change on wheat production,water use efficiency would slightly *** ensemble of multi-model estimated impacts and adaptation uncertainties of climate change can assist decision-makers in planning clima

Beryl is the commercial source of beryllium and several varieties of it are valued as a *** contribute to understanding the mechanism of beryl formation,we carried out detailed geological,petrographical,and geochemical investigations on beryl mineralization occurrences in the Zabara-Wadi el Gemal(Z-WG)*** region is an NW-sE trending tract that includes six berylhosting *** green gem variety of beryl(emerald)is restricted to phlogopite schist,pegmatite,and quartz *** hexagonal emerald crystals are well-developed in phlogopite schist and *** gem variety emerald examined is sodic and *** contains high concentrations of chromophore transition elements ordering Cr(up to 1511 ppm)>V(up to 242 ppm)>sc(up to 245 ppm),giving rise to its vivid green color,refl ecting mafic-ultramafic source *** the investigated emeralds,the sikait area contains the highest BeO(av.10.76wt.%)*** compositional variability of emeralds is most likely attributed to the contribution from the host *** is revealed by the examined emerald mineralization,for instance;the Abu Rusheid area(one of the best areas exposing rare metal-bearing granitoids)possesses the highest average of trace and REEs *** contrast,Um Kabu emerald has the highest contents of Co(av.20 ppm),Ni(av.299 ppm),MgO(av.8.2wt.%),Fe_(2)O_(3)(av.3.12wt.%),and CaO(avg.3.4wt.%)relative to other areas,which may be linked to contribution of ultramafic rocks exposed *** proposed mechanism we suggest for emerald genesis is metasomatic interaction between felsic intrusions,that are enriched with K,Na,Be,Li,and B,with mafic-ultramafic rocks that are enriched in Cr,V,Mg,Fe,and *** interaction is marked by the formation of phlogopite schist,the growth of emerald crystals,and desilicated pegmatite.

Monolayer Mos_(2)has a promising optoelectronics property,with a bandgap in the visible range;the material is a potential candidate for solar cell *** this work,we grew Mos_(2)monolayers using a low-pressure chemical vapor deposition *** produce uniform wafer-scale Mos_(2)monolayer films,precursors molybdenum dioxide(MoO_(2))and sulfur(s)are *** force microscopy was used to quantify the thickness of the monolayers,and the result was validated by Raman *** electron microscopy(TEM)was used to confirm the crystalline quality of the monolayers,and photoluminescence spectroscopy was used to evaluate their optical *** were able to create a schottky solar cell with a Mos_(2)monolayer up to 1 cm2 area by transferring monolayer film to n-type *** Mos_(2)/n-si schottky solar cell demonstrated photovoltaic characteristics with a short circuit current density of 14.8 mA cm^(-2)and an open-circuit voltage of 0.32 V under 100 mW cm^(-2)*** fill factor and energy conversion efficiency were 53%and 2.46%,respectively,with the highest external quantum efficiency at 530 nm being 44%.

The viscosity behavior of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)has been determined at 25℃ in mixed solvents comprising water/dimethylformamide(DMF)and water/methanol(MeOH).Analysis of the data has considered the PVP as being both host and guest polymer in *** intrinsic viscosity of PVP in DMF is higher than in water and in MeOH,but also increases in a mixed solvent with high water content because of the effect of polymer-solvent *** was also found that the intrinsic viscosity of PVP at finite concentration,[η_(pvp)]_c decreases with an increase in the concentration of PVP in *** viscosity behavior of PVP in a mixed solvent is affected by the concentration-dependent intermolecular excluded volume effect,which can be quantitatively expressed by the parameter,b_Y,which reflects the shrinkage of PVP chain coils,resulting in a decrease of[η_(pvp)]_*** effect of temperature on the viscosity behavior of PVP in MeOH shows that the interaction parameter increases up to a maximum value,and then decreases after a certain temperature.
