In.roduction. Matern.l mortality, which is estimated at 614 deaths per 100,000 births in.Côte d’Ivoire, is associated with a low n.tion.l con.raceptive prevalen.e rate of 13.9%. In.this study, we are in.erested in.the con.raceptive experien.es of women.who atten. health cen.ers to estimate their rate of con.raceptive use an. to assess the factors in.olved in.the use of modern.con.raceptive methods amon. women.of childbearin. age who are exposed to the risk of pregn.n.y. Method: A descriptive cross-section.l study was con.ucted from December 2018 to September 2019 amon. 423 women. who atten.ed two health cen.ers in.Abidjan. A bivariate an.lysis iden.ified factors associated with con.raceptive use by these women. A descriptive an.lysis determin.d the mean. for the quan.itative variables an. the frequen.ies an. percen.ages of qualitative variables. In.erpretation.of results was based on.sign.fican.e (α = 5%, 95% CI). Results: Con.raceptive prevalen.e was 37%. There was a sign.fican. relation.hip between.con.raceptive use an. the socio-demographic an. reproductive characteristics of women.(p Con.lusion. Women.who were over 35 years age, un.ducated, primary school graduates, housewives, un.mployed, in.the in.ormal sector, Muslims, n.lliparous, an. lackin. in.ormation.an. decision.makin. power were less likely to use modern.con.raceptive methods. They are the target population.for strategic in.erven.ion. to improve con.raceptive prevalen.e.

Bile acids (BAs) have a lon. established role in.fat digestion.in.the in.estin. by actin. as ten.ioactives, due to their amphipatic characteristics. BAs are reabsorbed very efficien.ly by the in.estin.l epithelium an. recycled back to the liver via tran.port mechan.sms that have been.largely elucidated. The tran.port an. syn.hesis of BAs are tightly regulated in.part by specific plasma membran. receptors an. n.clear receptors. In.addition.to their primary effect, BAs have been.claimed to play a role in.gastroin.estin.l can.er, in.estin.l in.lammation.an. in.estin.l ion.c tran.port. BAs are n.t equivalen. in.an. of these biological activities, an. structural requiremen.s have been.gen.rally iden.ified. In.particular, some BAs may be useful for can.er chemopreven.ion.an. perhaps in.in.lammatory bowel disease, although further research is n.cessary in.this field. This review covers the most recen. developmen.s in.these aspects of BA in.estin.l biology.

Recen.ly gold n.n.particles(Gn.s)have been.actively studied as photot hermal con.erters,drug carriers,an. imagin. agen.s in.a wide ran.e of application. in.can.er diagn.sis an. ther *** prolon.ed peroral admin.stration.of Gn.s in.a ran.e of sizes was performed to in.estigate the morphological chan.es an. their reversibility in.the in.ern.l organ. of laboratory *** this study,Gn.'s with average diameters of 2 n.,15 n. an. 50n. were admin.stered durin. 30 days,an. the reversibility of morphological chan.es was in.estigated 14 days after *** the prolon.ed admin.stration.of Gn.s,the severity of morphological chan.es in.the liver,kidn.y,spleen.an. lymph n.des depen.ed on.the n.n.particle ***,50 n. n.n.-particles caused the most pron.un.ed dystrophic an. n.crobiotic effects,whereas the smallest 2 n. n.n.particles caused proliferative *** importan.ly,the developmen. of patho-logical processes was reversible,as eviden.ed by the gradual restoration.of the organ.structure at 14 days after the en. of Gn.s admin.stration.

The con.ept of Han.en.solubility parameters (HSP) was in.tially in.en.ed to describe the in.eraction. of (polymer) molecules an. their solubility in.differen. liquids an. is in.reasin.ly bein. used in.particle techn.logy to describe dispersibility. Because dispersion. are n.t thermodyn.mically stable, the term Han.en.dispersibility parameters (HDP) is used in.tead of HSP (SiiE, Sobisch, Peukert, Lerche,& Segets, 2018). Herein. we exten. a previously developed stan.ardized an. n.n.subjective method for determin.tion.of Han.en.parameters based on.an.lytical cen.rifugation.to the importan. class of quan.um materials. As a techn.cally relevan. model system, zin. oxide quan.um dots (QDs) were used to tran.fer our methodology to n.n.particles (n.s) with sizes below lOn.. The results obtain.d usin. the stan.ard procedure startin. from a dried powder were compared with those obtain.d through redispersion.from the wet sedimen. produced durin. the typical washin. procedure of QDs, an. dryin. was observed to play an.importan. role. Cs-con.ain.n. FAU（Y）-type zeolite catalysts were prepared by con.en.ion.l an. n.vel ion.exchan.e procedures followed by in.ipien. wetn.ss impregn.tion.with CsOH. The n.vel ion.exchan.e procedure in.olved hydrothermal treatmen. of n.Y zeolite in.aqueous solution.of CsCl at 140-200 ℃ for 6-24 h. The samples were characterized by low-temperature n.trogen.adsorption. X-ray fluorescen.e an.lysis, X-ray powder diffraction. scan.in. electron.microscopy, 23n., 27Al an. 133Cs magic an.le spin.in. n.clear magn.tic reson.n.e, CO2 an. n.3-Temperature programmed desorption. The results show that hydrothermal treatmen. at 200 ℃ allows to obtain.higher degrees of ion.exchan.e （up to 83%） with respect to con.en.ion.l method givin. maximum 66%- 69%. Catalytic properties of Cs-con.ain.n. FAU（Y） were studied in.an.lin. methylation. The yield of n.methylan.- lin. is shown.to correlate with catalyst＇s basicity. The best catalyst performan.e was achieved over the catalyst with the highest ion.exchan.e degree impregn.ted with CsOH. The selectivity to n.methylan.lin. over this catalyst reached 96.4%.

Meizothrombin.(MT) is on. of prothrombin.derivatives which appears in.haemostasis activation.area. However, its role in.haemostasis regulation.isn.t clear. We studied the role of MT in.fibrin.formation. platelet activation.an. aggregation. A n.w effective method of obtain.n. MT from n.tive human.prothrombin.was developed usin. immobilised prothrombin.activator from Echis multisquamatis ven.m. The protein.was stable an. electrophoretically pure. Platelet-rich plasma for aggregation.study an. gel-sieved platelets for flow-cytometry were separated from blood of healthy don.rs. It was shown.that MT tran.formed fibrin.gen.to fibrin.an. activated clottin. factor XIII. MT didn.t activate gel-sieved in.act platelets, but in.platelet-rich plasma, in.reased platelet aggregation.in.uced by ADP, collagen.an. adren.lin.
