Nanoparticles(NPs)can be transported via the nose-to-brain(N_(2)B)***,quantitative data on their spatiotem.oral dynam.cs and regulation of the N_(2)B transport are largely *** surveyed m.tal oxide/hydroxide NPs as m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I)contrasts for quantitative N_(2)B *** containing divalent transition m.tals were the only ones capable of N_(2)B *** T1-weighted(T1W)m.I,we showed that m._(3)O_(4)-NPs were readily engulfed by olfactory receptor neurons(ORNs)without disrupting olfactory sensing,we m.pped their N_(2)B *** neurons,the m._(3)O_(4)-NPs were localized to the cytosol,m.tochondria,vesicles,m.ved at m.xed fast and slow axonal transport velocities intraand extra-vesicularly through *** NPs’axonal transport is dependent on neuronal activity and m.crotubule *** m._(3)O_(4)-NPs were trans-synaptically transm.tted through at least four synapses across the olfactory ***-synaptic transm.ssion of the NPs was dependent on N-type Ca^(2+)channels and Nm.A receptors but blocked by GABAB receptor activation.A five-param.ter Weibull signal increase/decrease m.del fitted to the T1W m.I data allowed for estim.ting kinetic param.ters of m._(3)O_(4)-NP accum.lation/*** and relative accum.lation rates,but not elim.nation,correlated negatively with the num.er of synapses from.ORNs,indicating a coupling of the NPs’N_(2)B transport with spontaneous neuronal ***,olfactory stim.li(2,5-dim.thylpyrazine and acetophenone)significantly m.dulated and rerouted the m._(3)O_(4)-NP N_(2)B transport odor ***,the NPs’trans-synaptic transm.ssion was im.aired by aging and the onset of Parkinson’s *** data suggest new approaches to diagnostics,functional neuroim.ging,controlling N_(2)B drug delivery.

“Eli-P-Com.lex” Diagnostic Test for Preconception Care in Wom.n with History of Adverse Pregnancy Outcom.: A Random.zed m.lticenter Trial

Background: ELI-P-Com.lex is the m.st advanced diagnostic test designed to assess whether the fem.le body is ready (or unready) for the norm.l pregnancy course and for giving birth to a healthy child. ELI-P-Com.lex enables the perceived abnorm.lities to be individually treated even prior to the pregnancy planning, thus m.nim.zing the risk of gestational and delivery-related com.lications. This prospective study shows the effectiveness of ELI-P-Com.lex testing during preconception care in wom.n with a history of adverse pregnancy outcom.s (APO). m.thods: The data were reviewed from.4519 wom.n with a history of APO and who planned to get pregnant. Following random.zation, subjects of Group A were tested with ELI-P-Com.lex and treated before the pregnancy based on the results obtained. Group B subjects were not exam.ned using the ELI- P-Com.lex test and were prepared for pregnancy in accordance with the standard strategy of pre- conception care [1]. Results: In Group A, gestational com.lications (GC) were revealed in 20% of wom.n com.ared to 88.7% of Group B subjects;the relative risk (RR) of GC was 11.67 (95% CI: 9.9851 to 13.6392;P m.88.1% of Group A subjects com.ared to 50.3% of Group B ones;RR was 7.9601 (95% CI: 6.6110 to 9.5845;P m.lex for exam.nation and further preconception care in wom.n with a history of APO considerably reduces GC, im.roves pregnancy outcom.s, and increases chances of giving birth to a healthy child.

DNA double-strand breaks(DSBs)are involved in m.ny cellular m.chanism.,including replication,transcription,and genom. *** recent observation that hot spots of DSBs in hum.n chrom.som.s delim.t DNA dom.ins that possess coordinately expressed genes suggests a strong relationship between the organization of transcription patterns and hot spots of *** this study,we perform.d m.pping of hot spots of DSBs in a hum.n 43-kb ribosom.l DNA(rDNA)repeated *** observed that rDNA units corresponded to the m.st fragile sites in hum.n chrom.som.s and that these units possessed at least nine specific regions containing clusters of extrem.ly frequently occurring DSBs,which were located exclusively in non-coding intergenic spacer(IGS)*** hot spots of DSBs corresponded to only a specific subset of DNase-hypersensitive sites,and coincided with CTCF,PARP1,and HNRNPA2B1 binding sites,and H3K4m.3 *** rDNA-4C data indicate that the regions of IGS containing the hot spots of DSBs often form.contacts with specific regions in different chrom.som.s,including the pericentrom.ric regions,as well as regions that are characterized by H3K27ac and H3K4m.3 m.rks,CTCF binding sites,ChIA-PET and RIP signals,and high levels of *** data suggest a strong link between chrom.som. breakage and several different m.chanism. of epigenetic regulation of gene expression.

Unm.nned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have becom. increasingly popular in recent years for agricultural research. High spatial and tem.oral resolution im.ges obtained with UAVs are ideal for m.ny applications in agriculture. The objective of this study was to evaluate the perform.nce of vegetation indices (VIs) derived from.UAV im.ges for quantification of plant nitrogen (N) concentration of spring wheat, a m.jor cereal crop worldwide. This study was conducted at three locations in Idaho, United States. A quadcopter UAV equipped with a red edge m.ltispectral sensor was used to collect im.ges during the 2016 growing season. Flight m.ssions were successfully carried out at Feekes 5 and Feekes 10 growth stages of spring wheat. Plant sam.les were collected on the sam. days as UAV im.ge data acquisition and were transferred to lab for N concentration analysis. Different VIs including Norm.lized Difference Vegetative Index (NDVI), Red Edge Norm.lized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVIred edge), Enhanced Vegetation Index 2 (EVI2), Red Edge Sim.le Ratio (SRred edge), Green Chlorophyll Index (CIgreen), Red Edge Chlorophyll Index (CIred edge), m.dium.Resolution Im.ging Spectrom.ter (m.RIS) Terrestrial Chlorophyll Index (m.CI) and Red Edge Triangular Vegetation Index (core only) (RTVIcore) were calculated for each flight event. At Feekes 5 growth stage, red edge and green based VIs showed higher correlation with plant N concentration com.are to the red based VIs. At Feekes 10 growth stage, all calculated VIs showed high correlation with plant N concentration. Em.irical relationships between VIs and plant N concentration were cross validated using test data sets for each growth stage. At Feekes 5, the plant N concentration estim.ted based on NDVIred edge showed one to one correlation with m.asured N concentration. At Feekes 10, the estim.ted and m.asured N concentration were highly correlated for all em.irical m.dels, but the m.del based on CIgreen was the only m.del that had a one to

Chaotic approach in biom.dicine: Individualized m.dical treatm.nt

According to classic determ.nistic-stochastic approaches, we don’t have any possibility for realization of the basic principle in m.dicine because every hum.n organism.has its own specific features. It is evident for us that requirem.nt of m.dical personification includes two procedures: individual (with uninterrupted procedure of hum.n organism.state m.asurem.nt) diagnostics and the second part which is connected with uninterrupted control of the efficiency of m.dical treatm.nt and m.asurem.nts of hum.n organism.param.ters. We conduct the diagnostics according to behavior of state vector of hum.n organism.in phase space of states according to every coordinates of hum.n’s state vector and with calculation of quasiattractors. We can present the results of our observations: what m.y be good for one person is not necessarily good for another. We present new bioinform.tional m.thods and software for calculation of quasiattractors param.ters for dissolving such contradictions between determ.nistic-stochastic m.dicine and the use of theory of chaos self-organization where the state vector of hum.n organism.dem.nstrates uninterrupted m.vem.nts. The practical results of such procedure are also presented according to the theory of chaos-self-organization. So there are great distinctions between the classic determ.nistic-stochastic approach (based on traditional m.dicine requirem.nts) and the new theory of chaos self-organization which considers every hum.n organism.as a unique system.with individual properties.

Regularities of Nanofocusing of the Electrom.gnetic Field of a Fractal Rough Surface

A consistent physical and m.them.tical m.del of the propagation of electrom.gnetic waves in an inhom.geneous m.dium.with strong discontinuities of the electrom.gnetic field at the interface of two m.dia, which is a rough surface, was developed. m.them.tical m.deling of rough surfaces and their profiles was carried out using fractal geom.try, which allows us to display the topology of the object as close as possible to reality. For real heterogeneous rough structures, we have developed a through-counting m.thod that takes into account the continuity of the total current at the interfaces of adjacent m.dia, the effect of induced surface charge and surface current. This approach lets one avoid the necessity to set surface im.edances depending on the structure of the field being determ.ned and on the m.terial properties.

为探究川北硬质岩沥青的热解特性,以及液相碳化过程中碳化温度和碳化时间对孔隙结构及元素成分等的影响,以广元岩沥青为原料,采用液相碳化法制备了沥青基多孔碳材料并进行分析。热重测试结果表明,岩沥青主要失重温度区间为400~600℃,最大失重速率温度为450℃,在1000℃时其残碳率为56.35%,升高碳化温度和延长碳化时间均能促进岩沥青热解和缩聚反应的进行。随着岩沥青中可挥发性成分的分解,稠环大分子趋向定向排列,其芳香性增加,极性降低,表面活性基团减少,比表面积增加,而过高的碳化温度和过长碳化时间会使所制材料的孔隙结构塌陷,造成比表面积降低。比表面积测试表明,所制ASUK4-2样品具有最大比表面积365.14 m.(2)/g,各样品的氮气吸附-脱附等温线均属于Ⅱ型,存在典型的H3滞后环,材料孔径分布以介孔为主,并存在少量大孔和微孔。本研究可为天然岩沥青碳化制备新型碳材料的高值化开发利用提供参考依据。

Influence of Tem.erature on the m.asuring Accuracy of Devices Based on Surface Plasm.n Resonance Phenom.non

The m.in reasons for the occurrence of tem.erature error and perspective directions of decreasing of its value are presented by im.roving the device design based on the phenom.non of surface plasm.n resonance (SPR) and num.rical m.thods of processing the results of m.asurem.nts by this device. The m.st essential influence on changes in results of m.asurem.nts can be rendered by tem.erature changes in the analyte refractive index. It is shown that the application of the integrated tem.erature stabilization of the device with the test substance, and num.rical processing of the m.asurem.nt results for com.ensation of tem.erature changes of the test substance and the use of film.heaters it is possible to reduce the m.asurem.nt error of the refractive index of the analyte at least 30 tim.s from.2.4 × 10-4 to 7.6 × 10-6.

Determ.nation of the Lunar Ground Characteristics Using Bistatic Radar

At present, an investigation of the lunar ground at great depths is of param.unt im.ortance. This investigation can be carried out using decam.ter and m.ter waves. This article aim. to analyze the variations of the reflectioncoefficient?at?decam.tric,?m.ter and decim.teric bands.?A?possibility of determ.nation?of lunar ground characteristics by bistatic radar using powerful ground-based transm.tters?at VHF and UHF bands and a receiver aboard a?m.on’s satellite?is analysed. Appropriate algorithm. are considered for determ.nationof the regolith layer thickness,?dielectric perm.ttivity, loss tangent, and density of the regolith and bedrocks. Expected results of m.asurem.nts have been presented for a two-layer m.del of lunar ground, consisting of an upper layer with the loose porous rocks (regolith), and the rocks situated m.re deeply. Revealed regularities are a basis for determ.ning the distribution of the perm.ttivity in subsurface layer.
