Lipovtsy coal field.mine №4 processed.north-western reserves of Lipovtsy field.in Primorski Krai (Russia). In 1997, the mine was d.clared.unprofitable and.was aband.ned.by natural flood.ng with no arrangement of mine water d.scharge and.in 2005 it was fully flood.d. The main sources of pollution in the stud.ed.area are spoil heaps (mine wastes), und.rspoil filtering waters and.mine waters which are being d.scharged.on the surface after finishing of “hyd.aulic funnel” artificial support. The stud. of technogenic land.cape of aband.ned.mine ind.strial area showed.that its morphologic form is d.minated.by spoil heaps. Soils located.near mine waste bod. d.ffer from benchmark soils by chemical properties and.size d.stribution. The influence of active hyd.ochemical mine and.d.ainage water flows is the reason of the above-mentioned.variation in soil properties. Results showed.that, there exist a high correlation ratios between chemical composition of mine waters and.water extracts from soil: Between the alkalinity of mine waters and.electrical cond.ctivity of soil water extracts (r = 0.73), between mine water iron content and.pH of soil water extract (r = −0.56), between the solid.resid.e of mine waters and.electrical cond.ctivity of soil water extracts (r = 0.72), between the mine waters calcium content and.electrical cond.ctivity of soil water extracts (r = −0.75), between the alkalinity of mine waters and.silicon d.oxid. content of soil water extracts (r = 0.61), between the mineralization of mine waters and.chrome content of soil water extracts (r = 0.73).

Lithium recovery from end.of-life Li-ion batteries(LIBs)through pyro-and.hyd.ometallurgical recycling processes involves several refining stages,with high consumption of reagents and.energy.A competitive technological alternative is the electrochemical oxid.tion of the cathod. materials,whereby lithium can be d.intercalated.and.transferred.to an electrolyte solution without the aid.of chemical extracting *** article investigates the potential to selectively recover Li from LIB cathod. materials by d.rect electrochemical extraction in aqueous *** process allowed.to recovering up to 98%of Li from high-purity commercial cathod. materials(LiMn_(2)O_(4),LiCoO_(2),and.Li Ni_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)Co_(1/3)O_(2))with a farad.ic efficiency of 98%and.negligible co-extraction of Co,Ni,and.*** process was then applied.to recover Li from the real waste LIBs black mass obtained.by the physical treatment of electric vehicle battery *** black mass contained.graphite,cond.ctive carbon,and.metal impurities from current collectors and.steel cases,which significantly influenced.the evolution and.performances of Li electrochemical ***,d.e to concomitant oxid.tion of impurities,lithium extraction yield. and.farad.ic efficiencies were lower than those obtained.with high-purity cathod. *** oxid.tion was found.to occur within the voltage range investigated.but it could.not quantitatively explain the red.ced.Li extraction *** fact,a d.tailed.investigation revealed.that above 1.3 V ***/Ag Cl,cond.ctive carbon can be oxid.zed.contributing to the d.creased.Li *** on the reported.experimental results,guid.lines were provid.d.that quantitatively enable the extraction of Li from the black mass,while preventing the simultaneous oxid.tion of impurities and.consequently,red.cing the energy consumption of the proposed.Li recovery method.

Cancer is one of the d.ad.iest d.seases in d.veloping countries. In recent years, natural plant-based.compound. have been used.in the search for d.ugs to combat numerous d.seases, includ.ng cancer. In this stud., we evaluate the cytotoxic properties of paanfo tiben 1 and.paanfo tiben 2, two trad.tional herbal formulations from Burkina Faso used.in the treatment of cancer in Burkina Faso. To this end. the recipes were infused.and.freeze-d.ied. The d.y extracts obtained.were used.to d.termine total phenolics and.flavonoid. content, assess antioxid.nt activity using the d.PH, ABTS and.FRAP method., evaluate anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting 15-LOX, COX 1 and.2, and.assess cytotoxic activity on HeLa cervical cancer and.HePG2 liver cancer cell lines using the MTT test. The paanfo tiben 1 recipe showed.the highest levels of total phenolics and.flavonoid., as well as the best antioxid.nt activities, with IC50 values of 21.020 ± 0.6 µg/ml and.22.94 ± 0.57 µg/ml for d.PH and.ABTS, and.165.15 mM EAA/mg d.y extract for FRAP. It also exhibited.the best cytotoxic activity with IC50 values of 112.02 ± 0.025 µg/ml on HeLa cells and.80.67 ± 6.08 µg/ml on HepG2 cells. On the other hand. paanfo tiben 2 exhibited.the best anti-inflammatory activities through inhibition of 15-LOX and.COX 1, with inhibition percentages at 100 µg/ml of 32.523% and.24.717 % respectively. These results could.justify the trad.tional use of these two recipes by trad.tional health practitioners in the treatment of cancer sufferers in Burkina Faso.

Investigations of ^(239+240)Pu and.^(238)Pu in the surface layer(0–5 cm) of bottom sed.ment in the Crimean 10 salt lakes from 4 geographical groups were carried.out for the first time. The ^(239+240)Pu varied.wid.ly between regional geographical groups of lakes as well as within groups too and.ranged.from 11±4 to 451±43 mBq^(239+240)Pu/kg. The highest levels of ^(239+240)Pu—419±27, 443±24 and.451±43 mBq/kg were observed.in the Yevpatoriya(Lake Kyzyl-Yar), the Tarkhankut(d.harylhach) and.the Kerch group(Tobechik), respectively. The lowest values of ^(239+240)Pu were id.ntified.in three lakes of the Perekop group and.were 20±12, 24±6 and.48±6 mBq/kg. In all lakes ^(238)Pu was an ord.r of magnitud. lower than 239+240 Pu and.varied.from 4.8±2.6 to 30.7±5.5 mBq/kg. The ^(238)Pu activity was d.cay-corrected.to 1986. The characteristic ratio of the ^(238)Pu/239+240 Pu activities in the sed.ment and.percentage of the Chernobyl-d.rived.Pu was calculated. The largest percentages of the Chernobyl-d.rived.Pu were observed.in the Evpatoriya group(Lake SasykSivash)—16.2%±8.26%, the Tarkhankut group(d.harylhach)—8.4%±2.10% and.the Kerch group(Aktash)—10.5%±5.56%. The stud. of the d.pth d.stribution of plutonium in the Lake Kyzyl-Yar bottom sed.ment core(0–25 cm) was fulfilled. It was shown that 239+240 Pu was high enough in all stud.ed.layers of bottom sed.ment, but the highest activity ratio ^(238)Pu/239+240 Pu(0.062±0.020) was found.in the d.epest layer of 15–20.5 cm and.the percentage of Chernobyl-d.rived.Pu was estimated.at 6.8%±2.85% in this layer.

With increasing life expectancy， neurod.generative d.seases have become one of the lead.ng causes of ill-health in the eld.rly. Preventive strategies includ. following healthy d.ets， such as the Med.terranean d.et， which is particularly rich in polyphenols， bioactive compound. with neuroprotective properties. The aim of this stud. was to assess the association of microbial phenolic metabolites (MPM) with cognition. This cross-sectional analysis was performed.with 200 participants of the PREd.MEd.trial (Barcelona-Clinic recruitment center). A novel method.based.on liquid.chromatography coupled.to mass spectrometry was used.to id.ntify urinary MPM (protocatechuic acid. enterod.ol glucuronid.， enterolactone glucuronid.， urolithin B glucuronid.， and.vanillic acid.glucuronid.)， and.cognitive function was evaluated.with neuropsychological tests. Multivariable-ad.usted.ord.nary least squares regression was used.to assess the associations between cognitive function and.MPM， and.a score was calculated.as the weighted.sum of MPM. A higher MPM score was associated.with better frontal lobe function. Among ind.vid.al metabolites， vanillic acid.glucuronid. was correlated.with frontal cognitive performance. Participants with higher concentrations of vanillic acid.glucuronid. and.urolithin B glucuronid. obtained.better scores in the Color Trail Test part 2. A higher score for urinary multi-MPM was associated.with better frontal cognitive performance in an old.r Med.terranean population.

阿尔泰山南坡受到西风急流、北冰洋冷湿气流、蒙古-西伯利亚高压和亚洲低压共同影响,形成了当地特有的气候模式;同时,阿尔泰山地区是欧亚沟通的枢纽地带,气候变化对周边人类生产生活以及生态系统影响显著。因此有必要了解阿尔泰山周边气候变化长期历史,识别气候变化特征,总结规律以应对未来气候变化带来的灾害。本研究利用相关分析发现阿尔泰山南坡西伯利亚落叶松树轮宽度年表与夏季(6~7月)温度呈显著关系(r=0.626,n=58,p<0.001),进而建立一阶线性回归模型方程定量重建了阿尔泰山南坡过去304年(1715~2018年)夏季温度变化。统计结果显示重建序列稳定可靠,并有能力代表大范围的温度变化特征。重建存在5个暖期(1740~1767年、1775~1793年、1837~1847年、1898~1909年、1990~2018年)和5个冷期(1715~1727年、1807~1828年、1848~1858年、1876~1897年、1927~1940年)。虽然自1990年来温度持续上升(1990~2018年温度距平0.33℃),但并未超过1740~1767年的温度(温度距平0.49℃)。结合周边降水重建序列,发现研究区域在过去3个多世纪表现出夏季水热同步的配置模式,即暖湿/冷干模态占主导地位。
