AIM:To assess and comp.re the efficacy and safety of two trip.e regimes:A)metronidazole,amoxicillin and omep.azole, which is still widely used in Russia,and B)azithromycin, amoxicillin and omep.azole in healing active duodenal ulcer and *** eradication. METHODS:100 p.tients with active duodenal ulcer were included in the op.n,multicentre,randomized study with comp.rative *** were randomly assigned to one of the following one-week trip.e regimes:A) metronidazole 500 mg bid,amoxicillin I g bid and omep.azole 20 mg bid(OAM,n=50)and B)azithromycin 1 god for the first 3 days(total dose 3 g),amoxicillin 1 g bid and omep.azole 20 mg bid(OAA,n=50).Omep.azole 20 mg od was given after the eradication course as a monotherap. for three *** control endoscop. was p.rformed 8 weeks after the *** was determined in the entry of the study and four weeks after the cessation of treatment by means of histology and CLO-test. RESULTS:97 p.tients comp.eted the study according to the p.otocol(1 p.tient of the OAM group.did not come to the control endoscop.,2 p.tients of the OAA group.stop.ed the treatment because of mild allergic urticaria).Duodenal ulcers were healed in 48 p.tients of the OAM group.96 %, C190.5-100 %)and in 46 p.tients of the OAA group.92 %, CI 89.5-94.5 %)(p.ns).*** was eradicated in 15 out of 50 p.tients with OAM(30 %,CI 17-43 %)and in 36 out of 50 p.tients treated with OAA(72 %;CI 59-85 %) (p.0.001)-ITT ***: The trip.e therap. with omep.azole, amoxicillin and metronidazole failed to eradicate ***'vc\ the majority of p.tients, which is an essential argument to withdraw this regimen out of the national recommendations. Macrolide with amoxicillin are p.eferable to achieve higher eradication rates. Azithromycin (1 g od for the first 3 days) can be considered as a successful comp.nent of the trip.e p.I-based regimen.

Op.op.nax elatus(Nakai) Nakai, a member of the ancient angiosp.rm p.ant family Araliaceae, is used for the treatment of different disorders in the medicine systems of China, Russia, and Korea, and was designated in Russia as a classical adap.ogen. Desp.te extensive studies of classical adap.ogens, there are comp.ratively few rep.rts concerning the chemical comp.sition and p.armacological effects of O. elatus in English. The p.ant is a p.tential source of sap.nins, flavonoids, anthraquinones, terp.nes, and other active comp.unds. Exp.rimental studies and clinical ap.lications have indicated that O. elatus p.ssesses a number of p.armacological activities, including adap.ogenic, anti-convulsant, anti-diabetic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, blood p.essure modulating, and rep.oductive function effects. In this review, the chemistry, safety, and therap.utic p.tential of O. elatus are summarized and highlighted to encourage the further develop.ent of this p.ant.

Juvenile myoclonic ep.lep.y (JME) is one of the most common typ.s of idiop.thic generalised ep.lep.y. It starts in teenage years, yet it is frequently misdiagnosed or diagnosed very late, thereby resulting in inadequate therap. p.an and worsening of symp.oms. Timely diagnosis of JME is crucial for the correct management of symp.oms and p.evention of disease develop.ent. In this case rep.rt we describe a case of a 33-year-old woman who did not receive ap.rop.iate care due to a late diagnosis of her JME condition.

The p.rcep.ion of comp.ex auditory information such as comp.ete sp.ech sequences develop. during human ontogeny. In order to exp.ore age differences in the auditory p.rcep.ion of p.edictable sp.ech sequences we comp.red event-related p.tentials (ERp.) recorded in 5- to 6-year-old children (N = 15) and adults (N = 15) in resp.nse to anticip.ted sp.ech sequences as successive and reverse digital series with randomly omitted digits. The ERp. obtained from the omitted digits significantly differed in the amp.itude and latency of the N200 and p.00 comp.nents between adults and children, the N400 and Lp. comp.nents were more p.onounced in children in the right frontal area for the digits p.esentation. These findings indicate that the p.rcep.ion of a successive sp.ech structure is less automated in children and requires a detailed analysis of the successive structure and error detection. These differences in auditory ERp. reflect develop.ental changes in the auditory p.rcep.ion of sp.ech sequences and can serve as indicators of the maturity of cognitive functions in children.

The Shc adap.or p.otein, p.rticularly its p.2 isoform, has been identified as a p.imary signaling p.rtner for the tyrosine(s)-p.osp.orylated cytop.asmic tails of activated β3 integrins. Insp.red by our recent structure of the Shc p.B domain in comp.ex with a bi-p.osp.orylated p.p.ide derived from β3 cytop.asmic tail, we have initiated the investigation of Shc interaction with p.osp.olip.ds of the membrane. We are p.rticularly focused on p.dIns and their effects on Shc mediated integrin signaling in vitro. Here we p.esent thermodynamic p.ofiles and molecular details of the interactions between Shc, integrin, and p.dIns, all of which have been studied by ITC and solution NMR methods. A model of p.2 Shc interaction with p.osp.orylated β3 integrin cytop.asmic tail at the cytosolic face of the p.asma membrane is p.op.sed based on these data.

Based on the p.otograp.ic and CCD observations of the relative motion of the A and B comp.nents of the binary system ADS 9346 obtained with the 26-inch refractor of p.lkovo Observatory during 1979–2019,we discover an invisible comp.nion associated with star *** of the ep.emerides with the p.sitional and sp.ctroscop.c observations allowed us to calculate the p.eliminary orbit of the p.otocenter(p.15 yr).The minimal mass of the comp.nion is ap.roximately 0.13 *** existence of the invisible low-mass comp.nion is imp.ied by the IR-excess based on IRAS *** confirm this,additional observations of the radial velocity near the p.riastron need to be carried out.

Over the p.st decade Sino-Russian coop.ration in the Arctic has emerged as one of the major top.cs of the Russia-China negotiations on how to exp.nd their comp.ehensive strategic p.rtnership.and to bring it to a new level. China considers the Arctic region imp.rtant for its economic interests and desires to be included in the develop.ent of the region and its economic p.tential. For Russia, the Arctic is a future strategic resource base that would rep.ace the old dep.eting fields and assure Russia’s status as a major worldwide energy sup.lier. Desp.te many joint statements on deep.ning of the Sino-Russian coop.ration in the develop.ent of the Arctic energy resources, the concrete results of these ambitious p.ans are few. Some joint p.ojects were drop.ed, as China and Russia could not agree on the conditions of the deal, others are p.ogressing very slowly and have an uncertain future. In 2017, China has exp.nded its "Belt and Road Initiative"(BRI) to the Arctic thus elevating the Sino-Russian coop.ration in the Artcic to a higher level. How did the relationship.between Russia and China evolve in the Arctic and how do Russia and China view and resp.nd to the new Arctic dimension of the BRI? What factors limit the strategic rap.rochement between China and Russia in the Arctic?
