Cyber Defense is becoming a major issue for every organization to keep business continuity *** presented paper explores the effectiveness of a meta-heuristic optimization algorithm-Artificial Bees Colony Algorithm(ABC)as an Nature Inspired Cyber Security mechanism to achieve adaptive *** experiments on the Denial-Of-Service attack scenarios which involves limiting the traffic flow for each *** today have adapted their service distribution models to include the use of the Internet,allowing them to effectively manage and interact with their customer *** shift has created an increased reliance on online services to store vast amounts of confidential customer data,meaning any disruption or outage of these services could be disastrous for the business,leaving them without the knowledge to serve their *** can exploit such an event to gain unauthorized access to the confidential data of the *** proposed algorithm utilizes an Adaptive Defense approach to continuously select nodes that could present characteristics of a probable malicious *** any changes in network parameters,the cluster of nodes is selected in the prepared solution set as a probable malicious node and the traffic rate with the ratio of packet delivery is managed with respect to the properties of normal nodes to deliver a disaster recovery plan for potential businesses.

Atrial fibrosis is common in atrial fibrillation (AF). Experimental studies have provided convincing evidence that fibrotic transformation of atrial myocardium results in deterioration of atrial conduction, increasing anisotropy of impulse propagation and building of boundaries that promote re-entry in the atrial walls that maybe directly relevant for the mechanisms responsible for maintaining AF. Whether or not fibrosis is a result of structural remodelling caused by persistent AF or a manifestation of occult myocardial process that leads to development of arrhythmia is less clear. Human data indicate the presence of association between persistency of AF and the extent of structural changes in atrial myocardium. The role atrial fibrosis plays in the mechanisms of AF, however, may differ between patients with structurally normal hearts, such as lone AF, and those with advanced cardiovascular comorbidities.

The fruits of the Sea buckthorn(Hippophae rhamnoides L.)are a popular plant food and a valuable health *** plants produces a lot of leaves with fine branches as an unnecessary residue,which needs *** aim of the study was to estimate(by HPLC-MS/MS)the qualitative and quantitative content of polyphenolic compounds in different parts of ***(HR),and to determine the level of antioxidant activity of leaves and fruits(by DPPH,ABTS methods and ferrozine test).Up to 19 compounds were identified in different parts of *** fruits are rich in flavonoids,including various glycosides of flavonols isorhamnetin,quercetin,and *** isorhamnetin glycosides were not identified in the leaves,while isorhamnetin-3-rhamnosylglactosides and the ellagitannins hippophaenin B,stachyurin and casuarinin were present only in the leaves of the *** bark and roots contained considerably more catechins,but minimal flavonols than the fruits and leaves of *** total phenolics and flavonols were most abundant in water infusions from leaves of HR(especially quercetin-3-O-glucoside-7-O-rhamnoside),compared to methanolic *** significant differences in the quantitative and qualitative content of the fresh and dried leaves were *** highest antioxidant activity by all three methods was detected in the leaves of *** addition to the fruits,the leaves may have a perspective as a source of biologically active substances of HR.

Bearberry(Arctostaphylos uva-ursi L.)is a perennial plant of the heather family(Ericaceae).The leaves are dominated by arbutin,phenol carbonic acids flavonoids,saponins,*** was previously shown that the bearberry leaves extract reduced blood glucose level in healthy animals under glucose overload,so it need to be studied more *** aim of the study was to investigate the chemical composition and the effect of dry alcohol extract from bearberry leaves,which enriched with cysteine,on the rats pancreas under experimental dexamethasone-induced insulin resistance(IR).Arctostaphylos uva-ursi *** extract and its modified cysteine preparation were obtained according to the developed method with 50%ethanol *** phytochemical profile,hypoglycaemic and pancreatic protective effect were ***(arbutin),phenolic carboxylic acid(gallic acid),5 flavonoids and 4 hydroxy-cinnamic acids were identified and quantified in the extracts by *** data revealed that bearberry leaves alcoholic dry extract enriched with cysteine has a hypoglycaemic and pancreatic protective effect in treated animals under dexamethasone-induced IR *** improved hyperglycaemia,insulin resistance and beta cell reduc-tion induced by dexamethasone injections.

Purpose:The relevance of the study is that today,there is no unanimous position on the right to euthanasia *** European Court of Human Rights(ECtHR),in making its decision,relies on the national legislation of the respective state,as there is no single decision on the right to euthanasia in the European ***,the aim of the article is to comprehensively study the phenomenon of euthanasia,elaborate the decisions of the ECtHR on euthanasia and related rights,and develop recommendations on the possibility of legalizing euthanasia in Ukraine and prospects for the right to die ***:The leading method of research of this issue is comparative and law,which allows to comprehensively consider the right to euthanasia and its positive and negative components and helps to establish trends in the implementation of the outlined ***:The article analyzes the current state of international and domestic legislation of some states on the use of euthanasia,reveals the meaning of the term“euthanasia,”provides a classification of euthanasia,analyzes the decisions of the ECtHR,and presents examples of national legislation of states within which euthanasia is legalized,the peculiarities of euthanasia recognition in the world are analyzed,as well as the research on the possibility of euthanasia legalization in Ukraine is ***:The materials of the article have practical value for all those interested in euthanasia and the realization of the right to die,as well as for practicing lawyers and judicial authorities.

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are considered as an attractive tool for tissue regeneration and possess a strong immunomodulatory *** tissuederived MSCs can be isolated from different sources,such as the dental pulp,periodontal ligament,deciduous teeth,apical papilla,dental follicles and *** to numerous in vitro studies,the effect of dental MSCs on immune cells might depend on several factors,such as the experimental setting,MSC tissue source and type of immune cell *** studies have shown that the immunomodulatory activity of dental MSCs is strongly upregulated by activated immune *** exert mostly immunosuppressive effects,leading to the dampening of immune cell ***,the reciprocal interaction between dental MSCs and immune cells represents an elegant mechanism that potentially contributes to tissue homeostasis and inflammatory disease *** the immunomodulatory potential of dental MSCs has been extensively investigated in vitro,its role in vivo remains obscure.A few studies have reported that the MSCs isolated from inflamed dental tissues have a compromised immunomodulatory ***,the expression of some immunomodulatory proteins is enhanced in periodontal disease and even shows some correlation with disease ***-based immunomodulation may play an essential role in the regeneration of different dental ***,immunomodulation-based strategies may be a very promising tool in regenerative dentistry.

Robust prediction of extreme motions during wind farm support vessel(WFSV)operation is an important safety concern that requires further extensive research as offshore wind energy industry sector *** particular,it is important to study the safety of operation in random sea conditions during WFSV docking against the wind tower,while workers are able to get on the *** is performed by thrusting vessel fender against wind tower(an alternative docking way by hinging is not studied here).In this paper,the finite element software AQWA has been used to analyze vessel response due to hydrodynamic wave loads,acting on a specific maintenance ship under actual sea *** roll may occur during certain sea conditions,especially in the beam sea,posing a risk to the crew transfer *** Bohai Sea is the area of diverse industrial activities such as offshore oil production,wave and wind power generation,*** paper advocates a novel method for estimating extreme roll statistics,based on Monte Carlo simulations(or measurements).The ACER(averaged conditional exceedance rate)method and its modification are presented in brief detail in *** proposed methodology provides an accurate extreme value prediction,utilizing available data *** this study the estimated return level values,obtained by ACER method,are compared with the corresponding return level values obtained by Gumbel *** on the overall performance of the proposed method,it is concluded that the ACER method can provide more robust and accurate prediction of the extreme vessel *** described approach may be well used at the vessel design stage,while defining optimal boat parameters would minimize potential roll.

Inhalation treatment of lung cancer: the influence of composition, size and shape of nanocarriers on their lung accumulation and retention

Objective: Various nanoparticles have been designed and tested in order to select optimal carriers for the inhalation delivery of anticancer drugs to the lungs. Methods: The following nanocarriers were studied: micelles, liposomes, mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs), poly propyleneimine(PPI) dendrimer-siRNA complexes nanoparticles, quantum dots(QDs), and poly(ethylene glycol) polymers. All particles were characterized using the following methods: dynamic light scattering, zeta potential, atomic force microscopy, in vitro cyto- and genotoxicity. In vivo organ distribution of all nanoparticles, retention in the lungs, and anticancer effects of liposomes loaded with doxorubicin were examined in nude mice after the pulmonary or intravenous delivery. Results: Significant differences in lung uptake were found after the inhalation delivery of lipid-based and non-lipid-based nanoparticles. The accumulation of liposomes and micelles in lungs remained relatively high even 24 h after inhalation when compared with MSNs, QDs, and PPI dendrimers. There were notable differences between nanoparticle accumulation in the lungs and other organs 1 and 3 h after inhalation or intravenous administrations, but 24 h after intravenous injection all nanoparticles were mainly accumulated in the liver, kidneys, and spleen. Inhalation delivery of doxorubicin by liposomes significantly enhanced its anticancer effect and prevented severe adverse side effects of the treatment in mice bearing the orthotopic model of lung ***: The results of the study demonstrate that lipid-based nanocarriers had considerably higher accumulation and longer retention time in the lungs when compared with non-lipid-based carriers after the inhalation delivery. These particles are most suitable for effective inhalation treatment of lung cancer.

Kidding after Transfer of in Vitro Produced Saanen Goat Embryos into Local Ukrainian Breed Recipients in Different Seasons

In recent years, the demand for goat products has been growing due to the fact that goat milk has a number of advantages over cow milk, for example, it is low in lactose, and is considered less allergenic and easier to digest. To increase production during both breeding and non-breeding seasons and reduce the price of dairy products, it is necessary to effectively use reproductive management and assisted reproductive technologies. In vitro embryo production makes it possible to obtain a large number of eggs from goats, which for some reason are unable to conceive, but have genetic value. Afterward in vitro produced embryos can be transferred into recipient goats of other less genetically valuable breeds, such as the Ukrainian local breed. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of transfers of in vitro produced embryos of Saanen goats into surrogate sires of the Ukrainian local breed in different seasons. All manipulations with animals were carried out following ethical standards (Strasbourg, 1986). Six Saanen goats were selected as the oocyte donors. After the hormonal stimulation oocytes were retrieved by laparoscopic ovum pick-up. In vitro produced embryos were transferred laparotomically into 24 recipients of Ukrainian local breed. Fifty days after embryo transfers, pregnancies were determined by ultrasound diagnostics. Although the embryo development rate in the breeding season was 20% higher than in the non-breeding season, there was no difference in pregnancy and kidding rates between seasons. In conclusion, the transfer of in vitro produced Saanen goat embryos to recipients of the Ukrainian local breed gives the opportunity to achieve pregnancy and kidding regardless of the breeding season, which will enable a faster and more efficient increase in the livestock of highly productive goats in Ukraine in the post-war period.
