MAPbBr_(3)(MA=CH_(3)nH_(3)^(+))doping with bismuth increases electric conductivity,charge carrier density and photostability,reduces toxicity,and expands light ***,Bi doping shortens excited-state lifetimes due to formation of DY−charge recombination *** nonadiabatic molecular dynamics and time-domain density functional theory,we demonstrate that the DY−center forms a deep,highly localized hole trap,which accelerates nonradiative relaxation ten-fold and is responsible for 90%of carrier *** trapping occurs by coupling between the valence band and the trap state,facilitated by the Br atoms surrounding the Bi *** of the DY−center with chlorines heals the local geometry distortion,eliminates the trap state,and makes the carrier lifetimes longer than even in pristine MAPbBr_(3).The decreased charge recombination arises from reduced nonadiabatic coupling and shortened coherence time,due to diminished electron–hole overlap around the passivated *** study demonstrates accelerated nonradiative recombination in Bi-doped MAPbBr_(3),suggests a strategy for defect passivation and reduction of nonradiative energy losses,and provides atomistic insights into unusual defect properties of metal halide perovskites needed for rational design of high-performance perovskite solar cells and optoelectronic devices.

In recent decades, a lot of research has been conducted to explore poultry feeding behavior. However, up to now, the processes behind poultry feeding behavior remain poorly understood. The review generalizes modern expertise about the hormonal regulation of feeding behavior in chickens, focusing on signaling pathways mediated by insulin, leptin, and ghrelin and regulatory pathways with a cross-reference to mammals. This overview also summarizes state-of-the-art research devoted to hypothalamic neuropeptides that control feed intake and are prime candidates for predictors of feeding *** analysis of the signaling pathways that mediate the feed intake regulation allowed us to conclude that there are major differences in the processes by which hormones influence specific neuropeptides and their contrasting roles in feed intake control between two vertebrate clades.

AIM:To characterize the impact of the Pringle ma-neuver (PM) and ischemic preconditioning (IP) on total blood supply to the liver following hepatectomies. METHODS: Sixty one consecutive patients who un-derwent hepatic resection under in flow occlusion were randomized either to receive PM alone (n = 31) or IP (10 min of ischemia followed by 10 min of reperfusion) prior to PM (n = 30). Quantification of liver perfusion was measured by Doppler probes at the hepatic artery and portal vein at various time points after reperfusion of remnant livers. RESULTS: Occlusion times of 33 ± 12 min (mean ± SD) and 34 ± 14 min and the extent of resected liver tissue (2.7 segments) were similar in both groups. In controls (PM), on reperfusion of liver remnants for 15 min, portal perfusion markedly decreased by 29% while there was a slight increase of 8% in the arterial blood flow. In contrast, following IP + PM the portal vein flow remained unchanged during reperfusion and a significantly increased arterial blood flow (+56% vs baseline) was observed. In accordance with a better postischemic blood supply of the liver, hepatocellular injury, as measured by alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels on day 1 was considerably lower in group B compared to group A (247 ± 210 U/I vs 550 ± 650 U/I, P nally, ALT levels were significantly correlated to the hepatic artery in ***: IP prevents postischemic flow reduction of the portal vein and simultaneously increases arterial perfusion, suggesting that improved hepatic macrocirculation is a protective mechanism following hepatectomy.

To pursue VnIIEF–VnIITF joint investigations,this paper briefly describes the experimental setup and provides numerical 3D-computation results(LEGAK-3D technique)on special features in the convergence dynamics of steel shells under their quasi-spherical explosive loading in the system with the 40-mm outer radius of the explosive *** computation results were compared with the data experimentally registered for shells of the 30KhGSA steel,both as-received and quenched to HRC 35...40,and the austenitic 12Kh18n10T stainless *** comparison was also made with laserinterferometry results obtained directly under explosive loading,as well as with gammatomography and scanning electron microscopy investigations of the recovered shells.
