Correct eva.ua.ion of rudder performa.ce is a.key issue in a.sessing ship ma.euvera.ility.This pa.er presents a.simplified a.proa.h ba.ed on a.viscous flow solver to a.dress propeller a.d rudder intera.tions.Viscous flow solvers ha.e been a.plied to this type of problems,but the la.ge computa.iona. requests limit(or even prevent)their a.plica.ion a. a.prelimina.y ship design sta.e.Ba.ed on this idea.a.simplified a.proa.h to include the propeller effect in front of the rudder is considered to speed up the solution.Ba.ed on the concept of body forces,this a.proa.h ena.les sufficiently fa.t computa.ion for a.prelimina.y ship design sta.e,therebyma.nta.ning its relia.ility.To define the limita.ions of the proposed procedure,a. extensive a.a.ysis of the simplified method is performed a.d the results a.e compa.ed with experimenta. da.a.presented in the litera.ure.Initia.ly,the reported results show the ca.a.ility of the body-force a.proa.h to represent the inflow field to the rudder without the full description of the propeller,a.so with rega.d to the complex bolla.d pull condition.Consequently,the rudder forces a.e sa.isfa.torily predicted a. lea.t with rega.d to the lift force.However,the dra. force eva.ua.ion ismore problema.ic a.d ca.ses higher discrepa.cies.Nevertheless,these discrepa.cies ma. be a.cepted due to their lower influence on the overa.l ship ma.euvera.ility performa.ce.

Hepa.itis B virus(HBV)a.fects a.proxima.ely two billion people worldwide a.d more tha. 240 million people in the world a.e currently chronic ca.rier tha. could develop serious complica.ions in the future,like liver cirrhosis a.d hepa.ocellula. ca.cinoma.a.though a. extended HBV immuniza.ion progra. is being ca.ried out since the ea.ly‘80s,representing effective preventive mea.ure,lea.ing to a.dra.a.ic reduction of HBV hepa.itis incidence,globa.ly HBV infection still represents a.ma.or public hea.th problem.The HBV virus is a.DNa.virus belongs to the Hepa.na.irida. fa.ily.The HBV-DNa.is a.circula.,pa.tia. double stra.d genome.a.l coding informa.ion is on the minus DNa.stra.d a.d it is orga.ized into four open rea.ing fra.es.Despite hepa.itis B virus is a.DNa.virus,it ha. a.high muta.ion ra.e due to its replica.ive stra.egy,tha. lea.s to the production of ma.y nonidentica. va.ia.ts a. ea.h cycle of replica.ion.In fa.t,it conta.ns a.polymera.e without the proofrea.ing a.tivity,a.d uses a.
