Drought events influence nutrient canopy exchanges and green leaf partitioning during senescence in a deciduous forest

The increase in the frequency and intensity of drought events expected in the coming decades in Western Europe may disturb forest biogeochemical cycles and create nutrient deficiencies in *** possible origin of nutrient deficiency is the disturbance of the partitioning of the green leaf pool during the leaf senescence period between resorption,foliar leaching and senesced ***,the effects of drought events on this partitioning and the consequences for the maintenance of tree nutrition are poorly *** experiment in a beech forest in meuse(France)was conducted to assess the effect of drought events on nutrient canopy exchanges and on the partitioning of the green leaf pool during the leaf senescence *** aim was to identify potential nutritional consequences of droughts for *** nutrient dynamics,including resorption,chemistry of green and senesced leaves,foliar absorption and leaching in mature beech stands from 2012 to 2019 allowed us to compare the nutrient exchanges for three nondry and three dry years(i.e.,with an intense drought event during the growing season).During dry years,we observed a decrease by almost a third of the potassium(K)partitioning to resorption(*** efficiency),thus reducing the K reserve in trees for the next growing *** result suggests that with the increased drought frequency and intensity expected for the coming decades,there will be a risk of potassium deficiency in trees,as already observed in a rainfall exclusion experiment on the same study *** foliar leaching and higher parititioning to the senesced leaves for K and phosphorus(p)were also *** addition,a slight increase in nitrogen(N)resorption efficiency occurred during dry years which is more likely to improve tree *** calcium(Ca)negative resorption decreased,with no apparent consequence in our study *** results show that nutrient exchanges in the canopy and the partitioning of the green leaf

CVTD: A Robust Car-mounted Video Text Detector

Text perception is crucial for understanding the semantics of outdoor scenes,making it a key requirement for building intelligent systems for driver assistance or autonomous *** information in car-mounted videos can assist drivers in making ***,Car-mounted video text images pose challenges such as complex backgrounds,small fonts,and the need for real-time *** proposed a robust Car-mounted Video Text Detector(CVTD).It is a lightweight text detection model based on ResNet18 for feature extraction,capable of detecting text in arbitrary *** model efficiently extracted global text positions through the Coordinate Attention Threshold Activation(CATA)and enhanced the representation capability through stacking two Feature pyramid Enhancement Fusion modules(FpEFm),strengthening feature representation,and integrating text local features and global position information,reinforcing the representation capability of the CVTD *** enhanced feature maps,when acted upon by Text Activation maps(TAm),effectively distinguished text foreground from non-text ***,we collected and annotated a dataset containing 2200 images of Car-mounted Video Text(CVT)under various road conditions for training and evaluating our model’s *** further tested our model on four other challenging public natural scene text detection benchmark datasets,demonstrating its strong generalization ability and real-time detection *** model holds potential for practical applications in real-world scenarios.

preparation of Tio_(2) Nano-Flower Coating on Ti Substrates with Good physical Sterilization Effect and Biocompatibility

We report a facile solution method to form titanium oxide(Tio_(2))nano-flower structure on the titanium(Ti)substrates for realizing good physical sterilization and *** first prepare Tio_(2) nanotubes(NT)with a diameter of about 80-100 nm and a length of about 5μm on Ti substrates by anodization,which is utilized as ***,we employ immersion treatment in different concentrations of phosphoric acid solution at 75℃ for 5 h to realize the transformation from Tio_(2) NT to Tio_(2) nano-flower *** addition,we studied the effects of phosphoric acid concentration(1 wt%,2.5 wt%,5 wt% and 10 wt%)on the Tio_(2) nano-flower structure,and the antibacterial properties and biocompatibility of the Tio_(2) nano-flower *** results show that Tio_(2) nano-flower structure become larger and thicker with the increase in the phosphoric acid concentration,and the thickness of the coating can reach 6.88μ***,the Tio_(2) nano-flower structure shows good physical sterilization effect,especially for the Tio_(2) nano-flower structure formed in 10 wt%H^(3)po_(4) solution,the antibacterial rate can reach 95%.In addition,the Tio_(2) nano-flower structure have no toxicity to the osteoblasts and support cell growth.

Investigation on the mechanism of Qiangxinhuoli prescription in the treatment of chronic heart failure based on p38-mApK signaling pathway

organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites have gained great attention as promising photocatalysts for hydrogen ***,due to their poor stability in water,the use of aqueous hydrohalic acid solutions is specifically required for an efficient hydrogen ***,three novel photoactive lead-free hybrid perovskites based on bismuth and triazolium cations(denoted as IEF-15,IEF-16,and IEF-17(IEF stands for ImDEA energy frameworks))were synthesized and fully characterized(structural,compositional,optical,etc.).Further,these solids were proposed as photocatalysts for the challenging gas phase overall water splitting(oWS)***,IEF-16 thin films exhibited a remarkable photocatalytic activity in both H_(2) and o_(2) evolution,as a consequence of its appropriate bandgap and energy-band alignment,achieving hydrogen evolution rates ofμmol·g_(H_(2))^(-)1846 and 360 after 24 h under ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis)irradiation or simulated solar irradiation,*** study additionally highlights the remarkable structural and photochemical stability of IEF-16 under different operational conditions(*** volume,irradiation and temperature),paving the way for green hydrogen production from oWS using perovskite-based photocatalysts.

The effect of temperature on the electrical conductivity （σ） and Seebeck coefficient （S） of n-type vapor grown carbon nanofibers （CNFs）and poly（vinylidene fluoride）(pVDF) melt-mixed with 15 wt%of those CNFs is *** 40°C,the CNFs show stable n-type character (S=-4.8μV·K-1) with anσof ca.165 S·m-1,while the pVDF/CNF composite film shows anσof ca.9 S·m-1and near-zero S (S=-0.5μV·K-1).This experimental reduction in S is studied by the density functional tight binding （DFTB） method revealing a contact electron transfer from the CNFs to the pVDF in the ***,in the temperature range from 40°C to 100°C,theσ（T） of the CNFs and pVDF/CNF film,successfully described by the 3D variable range hopping （VRH） model,is explained as consequence of a thermally activated backscattering *** the contrary,the S（T）from 40°C to 100°C of the pVDF/CNF film,which satisfactorily matches the model proposed for some multi-walled carbon nanotube （mWCNT）doped mats;however,it does not follow the increase in S（T） found for *** these findings are presented with the aim of discerning the role of these n-type vapor grown carbon nanofibers on theσand S of their melt-mixed polymer composites.

Spatiotemporal changes in sunshine duration and its influential factors in Chongqing,China from 1961 to 2020

The surface solar radiation in most parts of the world has undergone a phenomenon known as global dimming and brightening,characterized by an initial decrease followed by an *** a result,the sunshine duration(SD)has decreased in the past 60 *** the backdrop of global dimming and brightening,SD has decreased to varying degrees in many regions of *** the observed data of SD,cloud amount(total cloud amount and low cloud amount,abbreviated as TCA and LCA),precipitation,and relative humidity(RH)from 34 meteorological stations in Chongqing during the period of 1961-2020,along with a digital elevation model(DEm)with a resolution of 90 m,this study analyzed the spatiotemporal variations and influencing factors of *** analysis employed methods such as linear regression,mann-Kendall test,wavelet transformation,and DEm-based possible SD distributed *** results showed that the annual SD in Chongqing has significantly decreased over the last 60 years,with a decreasing interannual trend rate(ITR)of 40.4 h/*** for no obvious trend in spring,SD decreased significantly in summer,autumn and winter at the ITR of 21.1 h/10a,8.5 h/10a and 7.5 h/10a,*** abrupt decrease in the annual SD was found in *** difference before and after the abrupt decrease was 177.7 *** difference before and after the abrupt decrease was 177.7 *** annual SD possessed the oscillation period of *** spatial heterogeneity of the mean annual SD during the last 60 years was *** distribution of SD in Chongqing is high in the northeast and low in the *** addition,about 73%of the total area in Chongqing showed a significant and very significant decreasing *** regions with significant changes are mainly concentrated in the regions with altitudes of 200~1000 *** increasing LCA was the main cause of the decrease of the annual SD in the regions with 200-400 m altitude decreased the most and changed the *** LCA is the prim
