Changes in extreme high temperature warning indicators over China under different global warming levels

High temperature warning indicators play a pivotal role in meteorological departments,serving as crucial criteria for issuing warnings that guide both social production and daily *** their importance,limited studies have explored the relationship between different global warming levels and changes in high temperature warning *** this study,we analyze data from 2,419 meteorological stations over China and utilize the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6)models to examine historical changes in high temperature warning indicators used by the China Meteorological *** evaluate model performance and estimate future changes in these indicators using an annual cycle bias correction *** results indicate that since 1961,the number of high temperature days(TX35d and TX40d)and length of season(TX40d and TX40l)with daily maximum temperature reaching or exceeding 35℃ and 40℃ have increased over *** intensity of high temperatures(TXx)has strengthened and the geographical extent affected by high temperatures has *** 2022,the occurrence of 40℃ high temperatures surges,with Eastern China experiencing a two-day increase in TX40d and an extended seasonal length in TX40l by over five *** CMIP6 models have underestimated the high temperature indictors associated with 35℃ during historical periods,notable difference is not observed between the models and observations for TX40d and TX40l,given their rare ***,future projections,after bias correction,indicate that the increasing trends for 35℃ and 40℃ high temperature days and length of season become more pronounced than the raw projection,suggesting a more severe increase than that anticipated *** global warming intensifies,the high temperature days and length of season are projected to increase non-linearly,while the intensity of high temperatures is expected to increase *** every 1℃ increase in global temperature,the intensity is

Biodiversity declines have motivated many studies on the relationship between species diversity and ecosystem *** this study,we described the spatial-temporal characteristics of demersal fish communities along a coastal habitat in Rongcheng Bay,Shandong Peninsula,China with both species-based and biological trait-based *** field survey was carried out monthly using traps from April to October of 2018,and divided into three seasons(spring:April and May;summer:June,July and August;autumn:September,October and November).The study area included five distinct habitats:seagrass bed,natural rocky reef,bare sand,artificial reef together with natural rocky reef,and artificial reef together with bare *** analyzed the fish communities with three taxonomic diversity indices,including Shannon-Wiener,Simpson,and Pielou Evenness,as well as four functional diversity indices,including FRic,FEve,FDiv,and FDis,based on 7 functional groups which are categorized into 27 *** results showed that there were no significant differences in taxonomic diversity indices among different habitats in the three ***,significant differences were found in the functional richness of fish communities among different habitats in three *** bed represented the highest functional richness in spring and *** study demonstrates that seagrass bed is very important in enhancing the functional diversity of fish communities in a complex *** study also indicates that the combination of taxonomic diversity and functional diversity will provide a more detailed description of the characteristics of fish communities.

Carbon emission reduction and clean energy development are urgent demands for mankind in the coming *** an efficient CO_(2) storage method can significantly reduce CO_(2) emissions in the short *** this study,we attempted to construct sediment samples with different residual CH_(4) hydrate amounts and reservoir conditions,and then investigate the potentials of both CO_(2) storage and enhanced CH_(4) recovery in depleted gas hydrate deposits in the permafrost and ocean zones,*** results demonstrate that CO_(2) hydrate formation rate can be significantly improved due to the presence of residual hydrate seeds;However,excessive residual hydrates in turn lead to the decrease in CO_(2) storage *** by the T-P conditions of the reservoir,the storage amount of liquid CO_(2) can reach 8 times that of gaseous CO_(2),and CO_(2) stored in hydrate form reaches 2-4 ***,we noticed two other advantages of this *** is that CO_(2) injection can enhance CH_(4) recovery rate and increases CH_(4) recovery by 10%-20%.The second is that hydrate saturation in the reservoir can be restored to 20%-40%,which means that the solid volume of the reservoir avoids serious ***,this is crucial for protecting the goaf *** summary,this approach is greatly promising for high-efficient CO_(2) storage and safe exploitation of gas hydrate.

Neddylation plays a vital role in post-translational modification, intricately shaping the regulation of diverse biological processes, including those related to cellular immune responses. In fact, neddylation exerts control over both innate and adaptive immune systems via various mechanisms. Specifically, neddylation influences the function and survival of innate immune cells, activation of pattern recognition receptors and gMP-AMP synthase–stimulator of interferon genes pathways, as well as the release of various cytokines in innate immune reactions. Moreover, neddylation also governs the function and survival of antigen-presenting cells, which are crucial for initiating adaptive immune reactions. In addition, neddylation regulates T cell activation, proliferation, differentiation, survival, and their effector functions, thereby ensuring an appropriate adaptive immune response. In this review, we summarize the most recent findings in these aspects and delve into the connection between dysregulated neddylation events and immunological disorders, especially inflammatory diseases. Lastly, we propose future directions and potential treatments for these diseases by targeting neddylation.

Domain generalization aims to learn a model that is generalizable to an unseen target domain,which is a fundamental and challenging task in machine learning for out-of-distribution generalization. This paper proposes a novel domain generalization approach that enforces the learned model to be able to generalize well over the train/val subset splitting of the training dataset. This idea is modeled herein as an adversarial data splitting framework, formulated as a min-max optimization problem inspired by the metalearning approach. The min-max optimization problem is solved by iteratively splitting the training dataset into the training and val subsets to maximize the domain shift measured by the objective function and updating the model parameters to enable the model to generalize well from the training subset to the val subset by minimizing the objective function. This adversarial training approach does not assume the known domain labels of the training data; instead, it automatically investigates the “hard” splitting of the train/val subsets to learn the generalizable model. Extensive experimental results using three benchmark datasets demonstrate the superiority of this approach. In addition, we derive a generalization error bound for the theoretical understanding of our proposed approach.

Apatite Fission Track Thermochronology of granite from the Xiazhuang uranium Ore Field,South China:Implications for Exhumation History and Ore Preservation

Xiazhuang uranium ore field,located in the southern part of the Nanling Metallogenic Belt,is considered one of the largest granite-related u regions in South *** this paper,we contribute new apatite fission track data and thermal history modeling to constrain the exhumation history and evaluate preservation potential of the Xiazhuang uranium ore *** Triassic outcrop granite samples collected from different locations of Xiazhuang uranium ore field yield AFT ages ranging from 43 to 24 Ma with similar mean confined fission track lengths ranging from 11.8±2.0 to 12.9±1.9μm and Dpar values between 1.01 and 1.51μ*** robustness time-temperature reconstructions of samples from the hanging wall of Huangpi fault show that the Xiazhuang uranium ore field experienced a time of monotonous and slow cooling starting from middle Paleocene to middle Miocene(~60-10 Ma),followed by relatively rapid exhumation in the late Miocene(~10-5 Ma)and nearly thermal stability in the Pliocene-Quaternary(~5-0 Ma).The amount of exhumation after u mineralization since the Middle Paleogene was estimated as~4.3±1.8 km according to the integrated thermal history *** studies indicate that the ore-forming ages of u deposits in the Xiazhuang ore field are mainly before Middle Paleocene and the mineralization depths are more than 4.4±1.2 ***,the exhumation history since middle Paleocene plays important roles in the preservation of the Xiazhuang uranium ore field.

Prediction of lime utilization ratio of dephosphorization in BOF steelmaking based on online sequential extreme learning machine with forgetting mechanism

The machine learning models of multiple linear regression(MLR),support vector regression(SVR),and extreme learning ma-chine(ELM)and the proposed ELM models of online sequential ELM(OS-ELM)and OS-ELM with forgetting mechanism(FOS-ELM)are applied in the prediction of the lime utilization ratio of dephosphorization in the basic oxygen furnace steelmaking *** ELM model exhibites the best performance compared with the models of MLR and ***-ELM and FOS-ELM are applied for sequential learning and model *** optimal number of samples in validity term of the FOS-ELM model is determined to be 1500,with the smallest population mean absolute relative error(MARE)value of 0.058226 for the *** variable importance analysis reveals lime weight,initial P content,and hot metal weight as the most important variables for the lime utilization *** lime utilization ratio increases with the decrease in lime weight and the increases in the initial P content and hot metal weight.A prediction system based on FOS-ELM is applied in actual industrial production for one *** hit ratios of the predicted lime utilization ratio in the error ranges of±1%,±3%,and±5%are 61.16%,90.63%,and 94.11%,*** coefficient of determination,MARE,and root mean square error are 0.8670,0.06823,and 1.4265,*** system exhibits desirable performance for applications in actual industrial pro-duction.

Solid particle heat storage technology offers a potential solution to the challenges posed by the significant growth of renewable energy sources,particularly in terms of grid security and ***,it has the capability to optimize the energy utilization efficiency of the power *** order to investigate the transport regulation characteristics of solid particles in the thermal storage and release system of a circulating fluidized bed(CFB),a test rig with a capacity of 0.1 MW(th)was *** rig was utilized to systematically study the transport regulation characteristics of solid particles under the double u-type valve feed structure and u-type valve discharge *** experimental findings indicate that the system's design enables efficient and rapid storage and release of solid particles in the *** air distribution mode,specifically the double u-type valve feed structure and the u-type valve discharge structure,significantly influence the feed and discharge characteristics of the ash storage *** was observed that the impact of loose air on these characteristics is more substantial than that of the return air,irrespective of the feed structure or the return *** adjusting the feed and discharge rate,it is recommended to adopt a scheme that involves coarse adjustment through loose air and fine adjustment through return air.
