The export oriented agricultural and horticultural crops depends on the export of residue free produce and has created a great potential and demand for the incorporation of biopesticides in crop protection. PGPR with wide scope for commercialization includes Pseudomonas putida. Pseudomonas putida was effective in reducing die back caused by a fungus Botryodiplodia theobromae and phomopsis or arm death, caused by a fungus, Phomopsis viticola of grapevine in vitro and in vivo. Pseudomonas putida showed optimum Siderophore pseudobactin production at 72 h, and growth peak at 120 h. glycerol as a source of carbon and yeast as a source of nitrogen Pseudomonas putida was formulated using polysaccharide dextran starch, which led to the elongation of conservation and the effectiveness of the biofungicide. Pseudomonas putida was very effective as biocontrol agents to reduce the die back and phomopsis diseases on grapevine. The obtained results showed that both bacterial treatments significantly increased the growth parameters as well as fruits dry weights and yield of grapevine.

This paper help with leguminous seeds detection and smart farming. There are hundreds of kinds of seeds and itcan be very difficult to distinguish between them. Botanists and those who study plants, however, can identifythe type of seed at a glance. As far as we know, this is the first work to consider leguminous seeds images withdifferent backgrounds and different sizes and crowding. Machine learning is used to automatically classify andlocate 11 different seed types. We chose Leguminous seeds from 11 types to be the objects of this study. Thosetypes are of different colors, sizes, and shapes to add variety and complexity to our research. The images datasetof the leguminous seeds was manually collected, annotated, and then split randomly into three sub-datasetstrain, validation, and test (predictions), with a ratio of 80%, 10%, and 10% respectively. The images consideredthe variability between different leguminous seed types. The images were captured on five different backgrounds: white A4 paper, black pad, dark blue pad, dark green pad, and green pad. Different heights and shootingangles were considered. The crowdedness of the seeds also varied randomly between 1 and 50 seeds per *** combinations and arrangements between the 11 types were considered. Two different image-capturingdevices were used: a SAMSUNG smartphone camera and a Canon digital camera. A total of 828 images wereobtained, including 9801 seed objects (labels). The dataset contained images of different backgrounds, heights,angles, crowdedness, arrangements, and combinations. The TensorFlow framework was used to construct theFaster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (R-CNN) model and CSPDarknet53 is used as the backbonefor YOLOv4 based on DenseNet designed to connect layers in convolutional neural. Sex estimation is a crucial step to outline the biological profile of unknown human *** frontal and maxillary sinuses have unique anatomical features and can be utilized efficiently in individual *** studies investigated the frontal and maxillary sinus indexes separately for sex ***,comparing the predictive value of the frontal sinus index(FSI)to the maxillary sinus index(MSI)has not been investigated *** study aimed to evaluate the sex predicting value of FSI compared to MSI assessed on digital lateral *** retrospective cross-sectional study included 88 digital lateral cephalometric images of known sex(44 males and 44 females)and age(20-50 years).Two radiologists measured the maximum anteroposterior sinus width and height of the frontal sinus and maxillary ***,the sinus index was calculated for each *** obtained frontal and maxillary sinuses parameters were tabulated,along with the patient’s sex and age,and subjected to statistical *** results revealed significant differences between males and females regarding frontal sinus width,FSI,and *** discriminant function analysis obtained in this study accurately predicted sex with an overall accuracy of 71.6%(81.8%of males and 61.4%of females)using FSI,and 60.2%(63.6%in females and 56.8%in males)using *** and maxillary sinus indexes can be useful tools for sex *** function equations were developed for both the frontal and maxillary sinus indexes with higher accuracy rates for FSI compared to MSI.

We demonstrate a broad bandwidth multiwavelength laser based on a bidirectional Lyot filter and a semiconductor optical amplifier with a mechanism of intensity-dependent loss as the flatness agent. A wide bandwidth of a multiwavelength spectrum of 32.9 nm within a 5 dB uniformity is obtained under optimized polarization param- eters. For this case, the number of generated lasing lines is 329 with a fixed wavelength separation of 0.1 nm. The power stability of this multiwavelength laser is less than 1.35 dB within 200 min time frame. This shows that the bidirectional Lyot filter provides an alternative option for multiwavelength generation in laser systems.

Nonclassical Cause of Obstructive Jaundice: A Case Report of Multiple Visceral Arterial Aneurysms in a Young Patient

Multiple visceral artery aneurysms are relatively rare;the rarest are superior mesenteric artery and gastroduodenal artery aneurysms. The clinical presentation depends on the size and site of the aneurysm. We report the case of a 33-year-old man with recurrent episodes of obstructive jaundice and weight loss. Computed tomography with contrast revealed scattered hepatic arterial aneurysms with two other aneurysms along the course of the left gastro-duodenal and superior mesenteric artery. Investigations to determine the etiology were negative, but the patient had a history of smoking and substance abuse. Angiography revealed an occluded feeding artery. The patient developed multiorgan failure, leading to cardiac arrest and died. Diagnosing multiple visceral artery aneurysms needs a high index of suspicion;early diagnosis enables early intervention, which can reduce the high mortality of this condition.

Introduction and importance: In the surgical field, we utilize gauze and surgical instruments daily, and the complications can be divided into avoidable versus nonavoidable. The term Gossypioma in the literature indicates a retained surgical sponge or gauze. It can be there for years and be dormant or discovered within days as the patient starts to reveal symptoms. This makes diagnosing challenging pre-operatively as the radiological findings might not be as specific. Case presentation: A 75 male Moroccan patient with Normal Body mass index, Medically free. His main complaint was Abdominal pain in the epigastric area. His past surgical history was positive for a left open inguinal hernia repair with mesh three months ago that went uneventfully And an open appendectomy before 20 years. The Abdomen X-ray: multiple air-fluid levels with dilated small bowel as well as perfectly rounded calcifications at the right lower quadrant. Conclusion: It’s a devastating medical error, but it can be avoidable. Communication between the surgical team and operation staff is a crucial and straightforward tactic to prevent these complications. As the sequel will reveal itself at any time and the patient will pay the price.

A spectrophotometer with an LED as the light source for uric acid detection is proposed in this work. The mechanism of uric acid detection is based on energy absorbed by sodium urate, which is a chemical product of uric acid and sodium hydroxide solution. For the performance validation, comparison between the spectrophotometer with an LED and halogen lamp is carried out. Measurement results suggest that the spectrophotometer system with LED light has better sensitivity than that with halogen light. At a 460 nm wavelength,the sensitivity for the spectrophotometer with an LED is 0.0046 dL/mg, which is 73% higher than that with halogen light that records 0.0012 dL/mg. This enhanced sensitivity is attributed to the higher luminous efficacy of the LED light beam. As a result, a larger amount of flux interacts with the sample, leading to the sensitivity enhancement. The spectrophotometer with an LED is also applied for the detection of uric acid in a real human urine sample. Based on the experimental data at a 460 nm wavelength, the method manages to achieve the sensitivity of 0.0016 dL/mg, accuracy of 96.01%, limit of detection of 4.79 mg/dL, and limit of quantification of 14.52 mg/dL. These findings show that the use of LED as the input light source is promising for the spectrophotometer.
