Two series of CoHoxFe2-x O4 (x = 0.0,0.02) ferrites with Bismuth oxide doping from (0.1-0.3)% were prepared by Co-precipitation technique. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed fcc structure. The lattice constants were found to decrease as the doping of Bi2O3increases in both series. An increase in Bismuth oxide concentration from (0.1-0.3%) in CoFe2O4, and CoHo0.02Fe1.98O4ferrites leads to an increase in room temperature resistivity. Temperature dependent resistivity decreases as the temperature increases following the Arrhenius equation. The activation energy increases with the increase of Bi2O3-concentration for both CoFe2O4 and CoHo0.02Fe1.98O4series. The frequency dependant dielectric constant follows the Maxwell-Wagner type interfacial polarization. The dielectric loss indicates the normal behavior of these ferrites. SEM analysis shows an increase in grain size with increasing Bismuth concentration.

采用放电等离子烧结(SPS)工艺制备了Mg2-xNdxNi(x=0,0.1,0.2,0.3)储氢合金.通过X射线衍射(XRD)和扫描电镜(SEM)研究了合金的相结构和表面形貌,利用等容压差法分析测试了合金的压力--组成--温度(PCT)曲线和吸放氢动力学性能,研究了烧结温度、稀土元素Nd对储氢合金微观组织结构和储氢性能的影响,比较了SPS技术与真空感应熔炼法制备的Mg基合金组织结构和储氢性能的异同.结果表明:SPS制备的Mg2-xNdxNi(x=0～0.3)系列储氢合金具有多相结构,储氢合金的吸放氢动力学性能良好;Nd元素有利于Mg合金化,不利于储氢量;烧结温度对储氢量、PCT曲线平台性能有明显影响;当Mg2-xNdxNi系合金中含有Mg和NdMg12相,PCT曲线出现双平台现象;与铸态合金相比,SPS制备的Mg1.7Nd0.3Ni储氢合金的吸放氢动力学性能较好,但储氢容量、放氢率和PCT曲线平台性能更差.

Myzus persicae(***)is now considered a threat to agricultural crops due to economic *** synthetic insecticides applied every year against ***,are reported to be unsafe for environment,humans,and beneficial ***,several species of Myzus have been found to develop resistance due to over application of these ***,it is required to find some novel insecticide that would be safe for the environment as well as for *** the current study,two major pure constituentsα-pinene andβ-caryophyllene were evaluated for their insecticidal potential against *** using a fumigant toxicity ***,impact ofα-pinene andβ-caryophyllene on expression of five different genes,e.g.,HSP 60,FPPS I,OSD,TOL and ANT responsible for reproduction,dispersion,and growth of *** has also been *** perform fumigant toxicity assay,five different concentrations(3.5,4,4.5,5 and 6μL L−1)ofα-pinene andβ-caryophyllene were *** concentration(LC)was calculated,and gene expression studies were executed through qRT PCR at LC30 ofα-pinene andβ-*** constituents demonstrated excellent fumigant toxicity effects against *** at all five ***,α-pinene shows significantly better results(98%)as compared toβ-caryophyllene(80%)after 72 h at 6μL L−1 of *** highest upregulation in expression was demonstrated at LC30 dose ofα-pinene in five in three out of five genes understudy(TOL,ANT,and FPPS I).Conversely,two genes HSP 60 and OSD demonstrated downregulation at LC30 dose ofβ-***,our results highlighted the promising insecticidal potential of both compoundsα-pinene andβ-caryophylleneby interfering with the reproduction and development related processes in ***,allowing us to recommend the phytoconstituents under investigation as an ecofriendly alternative to synthetic insecticides.

In this paper,we analytically study the relationship between the coercive field,remnant polarization and the thickness of a ferroelectric material,required for the minimum subthreshold swing in a negative capacitance *** interdependence of the ferroelectric material properties shown in this study is defined by the capacitance matching conditions in the subthreshold region in an NC *** this paper,we propose an analytical model to find the optimal ferroelectric thickness and channel doping to achieve a minimum subthreshold swing,due to a particular ferroelectric *** results have been validated against the numerical and experimental results already available in the ***,we obtain the minimum possible subthreshold swing for different ferroelectric materials used in the gate stack of an NC-FET in the context of a manufacturable semiconductor *** results are presented in the form of a table,which shows the calculated channel doping,ferroelectric thickness and minimum subthreshold for five different ferroelectric materials.

The Assessment of Carbon Stocks in the Oak Scrub Forest of Sheringal Valley Dir Kohistan

The present study estimates carbon stocks (C-stocks) of the Oak scrub forest of Sheringal valley through field inventory. Stem density (haǃ), tree height (m), basal area (m2·haǃ), stem volume (m2·haǃ), stem biomass (t·haǃ), total biomass (t·haǃ), and total C-stock (t·haǃ), were calculated. Stem density varied between 80±8.16 to 510 ± 42 trees haǃ, with a mean value of 226 ± 7 tress haǃ. The average tree height, basal area and stem volume were 5.47 ± 0.76 m, 12.82 ± 0.25 m2·haǃ and 46.37 ± 0.85 m3·haǃ respectively. The total calculated stem biomass was 32.46 ± 0.60 t·haǃ and total tree biomass was 51.61 ± 0.60 t·haǃ. The calculated C-stocks in the Oak scrub forest ranged from 2.005 ± 1.32 t·haǃ to 63.1 ± 3.34 t·haǃ and the mean C stocks was 25.80 ± 0.47 t·haǃ. The results of the study confirmed that the Oak scrub forest acts as a valuable sink of carbon, but this valuable storage factory of carbon faced the problems of excess uses for fuel wood, forage, domestic uses (mostly for construction) and unscientific management. Proper scientific management and proper utilization of the forest can be significant measures to enhance the potential of the forest to stored and sink more carbon and can be included for CDM and REED++ under Keyto protocol.

为验证气提式三重循环生物膜反应器处理甾体雌激素的效能，建立了一套SPE／HPLC／MS／MS分析方法，对反应器进、出水中的甾体雌激素——甾酮（E1），17β-雌二醇（E2），雌三醇（E3）以及17α-乙炔基雌二醇（EE2）进行检测．该方法的加标回收率为88％～103％，精密度为4％～9％．该方法对E1，E2，E3和EE2的进水定量限（LOQ）分别为0．7，0．8，0．9和0．5ng／L；对出水的定量限分别为2．0，1．0，2．0和1．0ng／***和氨氮容积负荷最高为7．5和1．6kg／（m^3·d），出水依然能够保持稳定．进水pH稳定在9．0～10．5，而反应器的pH一直稳定在9．0以下，体系对pH变化造成的冲击比较适应．同时，反应器内形成了稳定的NO2^- -N积累，CODCr和氨氮的去除率分别达到了70％和73％．

In order to set up the relation between corrosion pits and equivalent initial surface crack （EISC）, for quantitative assessment of the residual strength of the aging structure in corrosive environment, a series of pre-corroded samples are prepared at different time and temperature, and subsequent fatigue experiments under uniaxial cyclic load have been performed with LY12-CZ Aluminium alloy. After pre-corrosion and fatigue test, the equivalent initial surface crack size is calculated through reverse integration of the Paris fatigue crack growth law and has solved the non-linear equation using Monte Carlo method from the experiment fatigue life. Finally life predictions are made using the pit sizes measured in experiment and EISC size calculated by reverse integration of the Paris fatigue crack growth law as the initial size of surface crack in computer package AFGROW, and compared with the experimented fatigue life. The results show that the size of equivalent initial surface crack is less than 19.7 to 22.5 percent of surface corrosion pit size which has the same life.

采用气提式三重循环生物膜反应器（TLABR）处理制药废水，稳定阶段对COD和NH4^＋-N的去除率分别为73％和70％。当温度为27～30℃、pH=8．5时，反应器内形成了稳定的NO2^--N积累。同时，考察了不同HRT下高效反应器的处理效果，探讨了pH对反应器内发生的短程硝化效果的影响以及亚硝化菌对游离氨浓度的适应性。结果表明：在HRT为3、6、9h下，对COD和氨氮的去除率分别为65．3％、73．9％、75．1％和48．9％、68．4％、72．8％；NO2^--N积累率分别为92．7％、76．2％、69．7％；反应器出水水质稳定，体现了高效性和抗冲击负荷能力。
