Most ground filtering algorithms are primarily designed for airborne LiDAR point cloud processing and their successful use in identifying ground points from photogrammetric point clouds remains *** compared six ground filtering algorithms implemented in Metashape,ArcGIS,CloudCompare,LAStools,and *** used UAV photogrammetry-based(acquired under leaf-off conditions)and airborne LiDAR(leaf-on)point clouds of the same area to:(i)compare accuracy of generated DtMs;(ii)evaluate the effect of vegetation density and terrain slope on filtering accuracy;and(iii)assess which algorithm parameters have the greatest effect on the filtering *** results show that the performance of filtering algorithms was affected by the point cloud type,terrain slope and vegetation *** results were generally better for LiDAR(RMSE 0.13–0.19 m)than for photogrammetric(RMSE 0.19–0.23 m)point *** behavior in varying vegetation and terrain conditions was consistent for LiDAR point ***,when applied on photogrammetric point clouds,the algorithms’behavior was inconsistent,especially in areas of steep slope(except for the Progressive triangulated Irregular Network in LAStools).Parameters related to the selection of the initial minimum elevation ground points were the most influential in all algorithms and point clouds.

this study addresses the hypothesis that stagnation of soybean yield on the farm can be improved by selection of a physiological trait favoring carbon assimilate partitioning to terminally placed pods versus genotypes having axillary pods at close plant spacing.13C was fed to source-sink units comprising a leaf,axillary/terminal pods,and petioles at upper and lower positions of the stem axis in two soybean cultivars,namely Shakujo and Enrei,at different densities of *** cultivars differ significantly in architecture,Shakujo bearing a few hundreds of pods in close succession to one another in a terminally placed raceme,in contrast to Enrei having axillary *** yield per plant was higher in Enrei than in Shakujo at low density,but Shakujo out-yielded Enrei at close *** density decreased yield per plant and altered the pattern of assimilate partitioning significantly within the plants for both *** high density more assimilates moved to the upper parts at the cost of the lower *** terminally placed pods of Shakujo were advantaged to receive assimilates under density *** benefit was accrued to pod filling of Enrei,however,under this condition.

Myxomycete distribution patterns were investigated in a colony of great cormorants(Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis)established in a pine forest in the Curonian Spit,western *** impact on the forest resulted both in vegetation changes and altered types and characteristics of myxomycete *** lowest myxomycete species richness was found in the most active part of the colony with the newest and most numerous *** myxomycete assemblages of the active part of the colony also showed the biggest differences from the reference zone(oligotrophic pine forest).the general abundance of myxomycetes in the territory of the colony was higher due to the presence of the species that are not characteristic of pine *** most abundant species in the territory were Badhamia apiculospora and Perichaena *** with other facultative coprophiles,such rare species as Comatricha mirabilis and Arcyria leiocarpa were found sporulating in the *** Bray-Curtis ordination revealed a tripole gradient of myxomycete distribution in the *** was hypothesized that the first continuum may reflect myxomycete assemblage transition from hypertrophic to oligotrophic habitat;the second continuum may reflect myxomycete assemblage distribution from habitats with limited diversity of available substrata,extreme levels of nutrients and high pH to habitats with high diversity of available substrata,moderate to high levels of nutrients and pH,and the third continuum may reflect myxomycete assemblage distribution from habitats with lower diversity of available substrata,low levels of nutrients and pH to habitats with high diversity of available substrata,moderate to high levels of nutrients and pH.

Background. We investigated the possible roles of the interleukin(IL)-15 and IL-15 receptor (IL-15R) system in a heightened state of B-cell activation and differentiation in intestinal mucosa with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).Meth ods. the expression of IL-15 and IL-15RαmRNA and protein in inflamed colonic mucosal tissues with IBD, and in control tissues was examined by reverse transcr iptase-polymerase chain reaction and immunohistological methods. the effects of recombinant(r)IL-15 on the expression of IL-15Rαon lamina propria B cells an d the production of immunoglobulin G (IgG) were analyzed in vitro, using lamina propria mononuclear cells (LPMCs)isolated from control tissues. Results. the int ensity of IL-15 and IL-15RαmRNA was greater in the mucosal tissues of patient s with IBD, especially in those of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC), than i n control tissues. Compared to control tissues, mononuclear cells positive for I L-15Rαprotein were observed in greater proportions in tissue sections from pat ients with IBD, especially in those from patients with UC, where IL-15Rαprotei n was localized to CD20-positive B cells to a significant degree. there were in creases in the proportions of IL-15Rα-positive B cells and IgG-producing cel ls in rIL-15-or rCD40L-stimulated cultures of LPMCs, with stimulatory effects being greater in the presence of their ***. these data sugg est that the IL-15 and IL-15R system may play important roles in the activatio n and differentiation of lamina propria B cells in patients with IBD, especially in those with UC.

BACkGROUND Patients discharged after hospitalization for acute heart failure(AHF) are frequently readmitted due to an incomplete decongestion, which is difficult to assess clinically. Recently, it has been shown that the use of a highly sensitive,non-invasive device measuring lung impedance(LI) reduces hospitalizations for heart failure(HF); it has also been shown that this device reduces the cardiovascular and all-cause mortality of stable HF patients when used in longterm out-patient follow-ups. the aim of these case series is to demonstrate the potential additive role of non-invasive home LI monitoring in the early postdischarge *** SUMMARY We present a case series of three patients who had performed daily LI measurements at home using the edema guard monitor(EGM) during 30 d after an episode of AHF. All patients had a history of chronic ischemic HF with a reduced ejection fraction and were hospitalized for 6–17 d. LI measurements were successfully made at home by patients with the help of their caregivers. the patients were carefully followed up by HF specialists who reacted to the values of LI measurements, blood pressure, heart rate and clinical symptoms. LI reduction was a more frequent trigger to medication adjustments compared to changes in symptoms or vital signs. Besides, LI dynamics closely tracked the use and dose of *** Our case series suggests non-invasive home LI monitoring with EGM to be a reliable and potentially useful tool for the early detection of congestion or dehydration and thus for the further successful stabilization of a HF patient after a worsening episode.

the stability of monocultural,even-aged spruce forests at lower altitudes in Central Europe is seriously threatened by the prospects of global climate *** thermostability and water use efficiency of their photo synthetic apparatus might play a vital role in their successful *** this study,photo systemⅡ(PSⅡ)performance(OJIP transient,rapid light curves)and thermostability were analyzed in Norway spruce(Picea abies(L.)karst.)throughout the growing season of the exceptionally warm year 2018(May-September)in the Western Carpathians,*** measurements were accompanied by analysis of pigment concentrations in the *** addition,gas-exchange temperature curves were produced weekly from June until September to obtain intrinsic water use *** the beginning of the growing season,needles exposed to heat stress showed significantly higher basal fluorescence and lower quantum yield,performance index,critical temperature thresholds of PSII inactivation and nonphotochemical yield in comparison to other *** overall thermostability(heat-resistance)of PSII peaked in July and August,reflected in the lowest basal fluorescence and the highest quantum yield of PSII,critical temperature thresholds and yield of non-photochemical quenching under heat ***,the ratio between chlorophyll and carotenoids was the highest in August and had a positive impact on PSII ***,the high-temperature intrinsic water use efficiency was significantly higher during July and August than in *** show that15-year-old trees of Picea abies at 840 m *** acclimative seasonal responses of PSII thermostability and intrinsic water use efficiency during an exceptionally warm *** results suggest that mountainous *** at lower altitudes can acclimate their photosynthetic apparatus to higher temperatures during summer.

the market success of perennial ryegrass(Lolium perenne L.) cultivars depends on sufficient seed production, as they are propagated by seed. However, breeding for high quality forage production reduces seed yield, and breaking the negative correlation would help to overcome the problem. the foliar disease crown rust is another factor affecting reproductive capacity and thereby seed yield. We evaluated seed yield-related traits and resistance to crown rust in a collection of commercial cultivars and ecotypes of perennial ryegrass and identified genome-wide markers associated with the traits. the study revealed high variation between the ecotype and cultivar groups as well as between years. A genome-wide association study identified 17 DNA single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) of which eight were associated with crown rust and nine with flag-leaf length. the SNP markers were located within or near predicted genes functioning in defense against pathogens. the identified genes are strong candidates for a further in-depth functional study to continue unravel determination of leaf architecture and crown rust resistance in perennial ryegrass.

In order to improve competitive ability of market, mo torcycle enterprises, special the small and middle sized ones must use It to org anize social resource and adopt effective production mode, namely the dispersed networked design and manufacturing (DNDM), which was put forward and proved to b e one of vitality production modes in recent years. In responding to the new pro duction mode of VMCE, a dispersed networked CAD/CAM system (DNCADMS) of motorcyc le products should be developed. the objective of this paper is to investigate a new design and manufacturing mode and technical environment of motorcycle produ ction based on the concept of the DNDM for the small and meddle sized motorcycle enterprises. Because there are various CAx software systems, including differen t kinds of isolated CD, CAD, CAE, CAPP, CAM, PDM, and so on, are used at differe nt stages of the life period of motorcycle products under heterogeneous environm ents, to build a DNCADMS of motorcycle with high performance, some key issues, n amely the architecture of the DNCADMS, the integration of the isolated CAx softw are systems (CAxs), the data communication and exchange between these isolated s ystems and the data share problem under the dispersed heterogeneous database env ironment, should be solved well. For this, the idea we propose is the combinatio n of Web, CORBA, StEP and Java, which provides an effective mechanism to support the integration of isolated CAxs, and support communication and interoperabilit y among CAx systems. Each isolated CAx has been encapsulated respectively by a c ontainer, which is implemented by the ORBs and the IDL of the COBRA technology s tandard, and managed by the application index server. the electrode process of pyrite in diethyldithiocarbamate (DDtC) solution pH 11.4 was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry, potentiost atic and chronopotentiometry. tetraethylthioram disulphide(tEtD) was electrodepo sited on pyrite electrode surface as the electrode potential is higher than 0.2 V. the relationship of the current density caused by diffusion and reaction time can be ascertained as i =1/(9.08×10 -5 +4.77×10 -3 t 0.5 ) , and the diffusion coefficient of DDtC on pyrite surface is about 3.72×10 - 6 cm 2/s. At pH 11.4, the thickness of tEtD adsorbed on pyr ite surface is about 1.63 molecule layer. the electrochemical dynamics equation of the reduction of tEtD on pyrite surface is given as η =0.116-0.064log[1- ( t/τ ) 0.5 ]. the kinetic parameters were determined as follows: the ex change current density ( i 0) is 3.08 μA/cm 2; the transmission coeffi cient( α ) is 0.462.
