Semantic Communication(SC)has emerged as a novel communication paradigm that provides a receiver with meaningful information extracted from the source to maximize information transmission throughput in wireless networks,beyond the theoretical capacity *** the extensive research on SC,there is a lack of comprehensive survey on technologies,solutions,applications,and challenges for *** this article,the development of SC is first reviewed and its characteristics,architecture,and advantages are ***,key technologies such as semantic extraction,semantic encoding,and semantic segmentation are discussed and their corresponding solutions in terms of efficiency,robustness,adaptability,and reliability are *** of SC to UAV communication,remote image sensing and fusion,intelligent transportation,and healthcare are also presented and their strategies are ***,some challenges and future research directions are presented to provide guidance for further research of SC.

Improvement of the piezoelectricity of PVDF-HFP by CoFe_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles

High piezoelectric composite films composed of poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(PVDF-HFP)and ferromagnetic cobalt ferrite(CoFe_(2)O_(4))(0.00 wt%to 0.2 wt%)are prepared by a solution casting method accompanied by uniaxial stretching and high electric field *** decisive effect of the poling electric field on the power generating capability was confirmed by the *** pure PVDF-HFP films,when the maximum electric field Emax is 120 MV/m,the calibrated open circuit voltage reaches 2.93 V,which is much higher than those poled at lower electric fields(70 MV/m:1.41 V;90 MV/m:2.11 V).Furthermore,the addition of CoFe_(2)O_(4)also influences the piezoelectricity *** the samples containing 0.15 wt%CoFe_(2)O_(4),the calibrated open circuit voltage increases to the maximum value of 3.57 ***,the relative fraction of theβ-phase and the crystallinity degree are 99%and 48%,*** effects of CoFe_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles on initial crystallization,uniaxial stretching and high electric field poling are investigated by XRD,FTIR and DSC.

This paper presents a software turbo decoder on graphics processing units(GPU).Unlike previous works,the proposed decoding architecture for turbo codes mainly focuses on the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems(CCSDS)***,the information frame lengths of the CCSDS turbo codes are not suitable for flexible sub-frame parallelism *** mitigate this issue,we propose a padding method that inserts several bits before the information frame *** obtain low-latency performance and high resource utilization,two-level intra-frame parallelisms and an efficient data structure are *** presented Max-Log-Map decoder can be adopted to decode the Long Term Evolution(LTE)turbo codes with only small *** proposed CCSDS turbo decoder at 10 iterations on NVIDIA RTX3070 achieves about 150 Mbps and 50Mbps throughputs for the code rates 1/6 and 1/2,respectively.

The Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas,one of the most exploited molluscs in the world,has suffered from massive mortality in recent decades,and the occurrence mechanisms have not been well *** this study,to reveal the relationship of associated microbiota to the fitness of oysters,temporal dynamics of microbiota in the gill,hemolymph,and hepatopancreas of *** during April 2018-January 2019 were investigated by 16 S rRNA gene *** microbiota in *** exhibited tissue heterogeneity,of which Spirochaetaceae was dominant in the gill and hemolymph while Mycoplasmataceae enriched in the ***-occurrence network demonstrated that the gill microbiota exhibited higher inter-taxon connectivity while the hemolymph microbiota had more *** richness(Chao 1 index)and diversity(Shannon index)of microbial community in each tissue showed no significant seasonal variations,except for the hepatopancreas having a higher richness in the ***,beta diversity analysis indicated a relatively stable microbiota in each tissue during the sampling period,showing relative abundance of the dominant taxa exhibiting temporal *** indicate that the microbial community in *** showed a tissue-specific stability with temporal dynamics in the composition,which might be essential for the tissue functioning and environmental adaption in *** work provides a baseline microbiota in *** and is helpful for the understanding of host-microbiota interaction in oysters.

Silicon carbide(SiC) power modules play an essential role in the electric vehicle drive system. To improve their performance, reduce their size, and increase production efficiency, this paper proposes a multiple staked direct bonded copper(DBC) unit based power module packaging method to parallel more chips. This method utilizes mutual inductance cancellation effect to reduce parasitic inductance. Because the conduction area in the new package is doubled, the overall area of power module can be reduced. Entire power module is divided into smaller units to enhance manufacture yield, and improve design freedom. This paper provides a detailed design, analysis and fabrication procedure for the proposed package structure. Additionally, this paper offers several feasible solutions for the connection between power terminals and DBC untis. With the structure, 18dies were paralleled for each phase-leg in a econodual size power module. Both simulation and double pulse test results demonstrate that, compared to conventional layouts, the proposed package method has 74.8% smaller parasitic inductance and 34.9% lower footprint.

1 Introduction Identity privacy concerns hinder data sharing by casting doubt on the safeguarding of personal information,eroding trust,and impeding the willingness of individuals and organizations to exchange their data[1,2].The traceable ring signatures(TRSs)addresses the contradiction between identity privacy and regulation[3],no scheme has been developed thus far that is based on SM2,the Chinese cryptographic public key algorithm standard,without relying on centralized trust.

The critical role of vanadium in metallurgy and the increasing commercialization of vanadium redox flow batteries have contributed to a rise in market demand for vanadium,emphasizing the need to ensure the sustainability of vanadium *** vanadium slag and stone coal,generated during the smelting process of vanadium–titanium magnetite,serve as primary raw materials for vanadium *** paper reviews the process mineralogy of converter vanadium slag and stone coal,encompassing the chemical and physical phase compositions of the raw materials and the state of vanadium *** aim is to establish a theoretical foundation for the mechanistic study of the vanadium extraction techniques and to provide a reference for the optimization of the process *** paper systematically summarizes the current vanadium extraction technology from converter vanadium slag,covering roasting,direct leaching,sub-molten salt method,and the technology and research status of vanadium extraction from stone *** importantly,it identifies key issues in the current vanadium extraction techniques and challenges faced in actual production,based on the analysis of the current vanadium extraction process and mechanism *** forward feasibility and prospects for the development of vanadium extraction technology are outlined.

Thermodynamics-directed bulk/grain-boundary engineering for superior electrochemical durability of Ni-rich cathode

Introducing high-valence Ta element is an essential strategy for addressing the structu ral deterioration of the Ni-rich LiNi_(1-x-y)Co_(x)Mn_(y)O_(2)(NCM)cathode,but the enlarged Li/Ni cation mixing leads to the inferior rate capability originating from the hindered Li~+*** that the non-magnetic Ti~(4+)ion can suppress Li/Ni disorder by removing the magnetic frustration in the transition metal ***,it is still challenging to directionally design expected Ta/Ti dual-modification,resulting from the complexity of the elemental distribution and the uncertainty of in-situ formed coating compounds by introducing foreign ***,a LiTaO_3 grain boundary(GB)coating and bulk Ti-doping have been successfully achieved in LiNi_(0.834)Co_(0.11)Mn_(0.056)O_(2) cathode by thermodynamic guidance,in which the structural formation energy and interfacial binding energy are employed to predict the elemental diffusion discrepancy and thermodynamically stable coating *** to the coupling effect of strengthened structural/interfacial stability and improved Li~+diffusion kinetics by simultaneous bulk/GB engineering,the Ta/Ti-NCM cathode exhibits outstanding capacity retention,reaching 91.1%after 400 cycles at 1 *** elaborate work contributes valuable insights into rational dual-modification engineering from a thermodynamic perspective for maximizing the electrochemical performances of NCM cathodes.

The development of renewable and affordable energy is crucial for building a sustainable society. In this context, establishing a sustainable infrastructure for renewable energy requires the integration of energy storage, specifically use of renewable hydrogen. The hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) of electrochemical water splitting is a promising method for producing green hydrogen. Recently, two-dimensional nanomaterials have shown great promise in promoting the HER in terms of both fundamental research and practical applications due to their high specific surface areas and tunable electronic properties. Among them, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), a non-noble metal catalyst, has emerged as a promising alternative to replace expensive platinum-based catalysts for the HER because MoS_(2)has a high inherent activity, low cost, and abundant reserves. At present, greatly improved activity and stability are urgently needed for MoS_(2)to enable wide deployment of water electrolysis devices. In this regard, efficient strategies for precisely modifying MoS_(2)are of interest. Herein, the progress made with MoS_(2)as an HER catalyst is reviewed, with a focus on modification strategies, including phase engineering, morphology design, defect engineering, heteroatom doping, and heterostructure construction. It is believed that these strategies will be helpful in designing and developing high-performance and low-cost MoS2-based catalysts by lowering the charge transfer barrier, increasing the active site density, and optimizing the surface hydrophilicity. In addition, the challenges of MoS_(2)electrocatalysts and perspectives for future research and development of these catalysts are discussed.
