Objective:To determine the diagnostic value of ultrasound signs of urinary stones less than or equal to 10 mm and to determine clinico-radiological variants of ureteric ***:A total of 455 ultrasound investigations were performed in patients referring to emergency department with urolithiasis and symptoms suspected of ureteric colic between January 2021 and May *** addition to microscopic evaluation of urine sediment to detect different crystals and non-contrast spiral computed tomography to detect stones,B-mode and color Doppler sonography was performed to assess the presence of acoustic shadow(AS)and twinkle artifacts(TA)as possible signs of stone(s)in ***:While the sensitivity and specificity of AS and TA were higher than 90%in patients with stones greater than 5 mm;positive prognostic values of these parameters were found to be extremely low for stones with sizes of 1-3 mm with specificity and sensitivity values not exceeding 53%.The sensitivity and specificity of AS and TA in the upper and lower ureters were higher for stones greater than or equal to 5 than for compared to those less than 5 *** the same time,the diagnostic values of TA and AS for middle ureter stones were very *** most prevalent clinico-radiological variants of ureteric colic were types I,III,and V being observed in 39%,28% and 21% cases,***:Our results demonstrate that TA and AS parameters seem to have a very low sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of urinary stones less than 5 *** diagnostic value of TA and AS increase significantly in stones greater than or equal to 5 ***,clinicians need to be very careful for overestimating the diagnostic values of TA and AS for stones less than 5 mm and non-contrast spiral computed tomography must be the method of choice for patients presenting to emergency department with ureteric colic.

Higher-order topological insulators(HOTIs)are unique materials hosting topologically protected states,whose dimensionality is at least by 2 lower than that of the *** states in such insulators may be strongly confined in their corners which leads to considerable enhancement of nonlinear processes involving such ***,all nonlinear HOTIs demonstrated so far were built on periodic bulk lattice ***,we demonstrate the first nonlinear photonic HOTI with the fractal *** their fractional effective dimensionality,the HOTIs constructed here on two different types of the Sierpiński gasket waveguide arrays,may support topological corner states for unexpectedly wide range of coupling strengths,even in parameter regions where conventional HOTIs become *** demonstrate thresholdless spatial solitons bifurcating from corner states in nonlinear fractal HOTIs and show that their localization can be efficiently controlled by the input beam *** observe sharp differences in nonlinear light localization on outer and multiple inner corners and edges representative for these fractal *** findings not only represent a new paradigm for nonlinear topological insulators,but also open new avenues for potential applications of fractal materials to control the light flow.

Graphene has emerged as a promising platform for THz plasmonics,allowing high confinement,long lifetimes and fast electrical ***,we predict a strong magnetic dipole response by graphene split nanorings at THz frequencies,allowing the attainment of metamaterials with a high degree of field confinement(approximately one hundredth of the excitation wavelength)that is not reachable with conventional noble *** magnetic response of highly doped graphene split-rings in the far-infrared is much stronger than that displayed by gold structures of similar *** further explored stacked graphene layers as a practical way of producing high-frequency magnetism in thin,electrically tunable *** results support the great potential of using graphene to achieve electrically tunable magnetic metamaterials.

This article is devoted to the topic of humor and religion collision, which becomes trending. Increasingly, jokes, memes, caricatures are in the center of religious scandals, criminal cases and even terrorist acts. The history of relationships between laughter and religion is full of contradictions and raises many questions. For a long time, people underestimated the positive qualities of laughter and phenomena associated with it. They considered laughter, associated with sin and vice, only from the standpoint of critical, moralizing tone — in no small part thanks to the medieval theology. However, starting around the end of the 19 th century, there is a gradual change in the attitude of society towards the phenomena of laughter and humor. This trend affects all spheres of social and cultural life, including partly theology. However, the traditional religious worldview is still characterized by a significant degree of distrust towards laughter, fun, play, and humor. The presence of a hidden confrontation, between the religious attitude to these phenomena and the general trend of their positive reassessment — can add additional tension in situations of offensive humor or humiliation by humor. Conflicts, which are based on dissatisfaction with specific examples of humor, on the one hand, are no different from conflicts occurring based on works of art for example. On the other hand, humor can provoke the inclusion of additional risks for one of the parties to the conflict — primarily reputational ones.

Fluctuating fine-scale spatial genetic structure in the common shrews (Eulipotyphla, Mammalia)

The spatial genetic structure is a topical issue in the studies of various aspects of ecology and *** the multilocus autocorrelation method with hypervariable microsatellite genetic markers,we investigated aﬁne-scale pattern of genetic structure in 5 local populations of the common shrew Sorex araneus separated by distances of 300–1000 m(the Moscow chromosomal race).Spatial genetic autocorrelation analysis based on 5 microsatellite loci(expected heterozygosity>0.79)with 90 alleles revealed a consistent pattern of signiﬁcant positive genetic *** testing the autocorrelation at multiple scales from 25 to 500 m,we found that positive spatial genetic structure is detectable in distance classes ofnetic structure positively correlated with a higher ratio of nonresident individuals to residents’activity(number of captures).In contrast to nonresident animals,the residents demonstrated prominent genetic *** difference(FST)between the populations was signiﬁcant(0.016–0.051)and comparable with that between populations of different races analyzed previously(0.016–0.038).FST was not associated with geographic *** demographic patterns allowed us to propose a scheme of genetic-structure dynamics involving periodic appearance of more related local groups and renewal of allelic proﬁles fromаcommon pool where the alleles are *** scheme predictsﬂuctuating genetic structure and random similar differences among local populations.

Scientific Creativity Triple Determination Patterns

Three main factors are identified that determine the appearance of discoveries and inventions in science and technology: intra-scientific(logical and empirical);extrascientific(sociocultural) and personal(mental). Their relationship and interaction are considered. It is shown that the first factor is studied in detail in the framework of internalism, the second in the framework of externalism, and the personality factor is experiencing a shortage of analysis. The category of mentality is proposed to use for studying the role of the individual in the scientific and technical progress. The purpose of the paper is to substantiate the principles of the new concept — the concept of triple determination of the creative process: the sociocultural factor provides an order for discovery, intra-scientific — gives a historically formed cognitive basis for solving the problem, and in the personality factor — the creator's mentality — the original superposition(superposition) of intra-scientific and sociocultural parameters is implemented uniquely transformed by a subject based on knowledge, intuition, faith, will, which leads to innovative scientific and technical progress. The connection of the three determinants noted can be called the law of the triple determination of scientific and technical work.

A new species of the genus Leptolalax (Anura： Megophryidae) from southern Vietnam

We describe a new species of megophryid frog from Phu Yen Province in southern Vietnam. Leptolalax macrops sp. nov. is distinguished from its congeners by a combination of the following morphological attributes：（1） body size medium （SVL 28.0-29.3 mm in three adult males, 30.3 mm in single adult female）; （2） supra-axillary glands present, creamy white; ventrolateral glands indistinct; （3） tympanum externally distinct; （4） dorsal skin roughly granular with larger tubercles, dermal ridges on dorsum absent; （5） rudimentary webbing present between fingers I-II and I1-111; rudimentary webbing between all toes; fingers and toes without dermal fringes; （6） in life ventral surface greyish-violet with white speckling; （7） supratympanic fold distinct, dark brown in life; （8） iris bicolored, typically golden in upper half, fading to golden green in lower half; （9） tibia short （TbL/SVL 0.44-0.45 in males）; and （10） eyes large and protuberant （ED/SVL 0.15-0.16 in males） From all congeners for which comparable sequences are available, the new species differs markedly in the 16S rRnA mitochondrial gene sequence （P-distance〉5.7%）. The new species is currently known only from montane evergreen tropical forests of Song Hinh District, Phu Yen Province, and M＇Drak District of Dak Lak Province at elevations of 470-630 m a.s.l.. We suggest the new species should be considered as Data Deficient following the IUCn＇s Red List categories. We also report a previously unknownLeptolalax mtDnA lineage from an evergreen tropica forest in the Hoa Thinh District of Phu Yen Province which may also represent an undescribed species.

A new species of small tree frog from a primary montane tropical forest of central Vietnam, Tay nguyen Plateau, is described based on morphological, molecular, and acoustic evidence. The Golden Bug-Eyed Frog, Theloderma auratum sp. nov., is distinguishable from its congeners and other small rhacophorid species based on a combination of the following morphological attributes：（1） bony ridges on head absent; （2） smooth skin completely lacking calcified warts or asperities; （3） pointed elongated tapering snout; （4） vocal opening in males absent; （5） vomerine teeth absent; （6） males of small body size （SVL 21.8-26.4 mm）; （7） head longer than wide; ED/SVL ratio 13%-15%; ESL/SVL ratio 16%-20%; （8） small tympanum （TD/EL ratio 50%-60%） with few tiny tubercles; （9） supratympanic fold absent; （10） ventral surfaces completely smooth; （11 ） webbing between fingers absent; （12） outer and inner metacarpal tubercles present, supernumerary metacarpal tubercle single, medial, oval in shape; （13） toes half-webbed： I 2-21/4 II 11/^-23/~ III 2-31/4 IV 3-11/2 V; （14） inner metatarsal tubercle present, oval; outer metatarsal tubercle absent; （15） iris bicolored; （16） dorsal surfaces golden-yellow with sparse golden-orange speckling or reticulations and few small dark-brown spots; （17） lateral sides of head and body with wide dark reddish-brown to black lateral stripes, clearlyseparated from lighter dorsal coloration by straight contrasting edge; （18） ventral surfaces of body, throat, and chest greyish-blue with indistinct brown confluent blotches; （19） upper eyelids with few （3-5） very small flat reddish superciliary tubercles; （20） limbs dorsally reddish-brown, ventrally brown with small bluish-white speckles. The new species is also distinct from all congeners in 12S rRnA to 16S rRnA mitochondrial DnA fragment sequences （uncorrected genetic distance P〉8.9%）. Advertisement call and tadpole morphology of the new species are described. Our molecular data showed Theloderma auratum sp. nov.

Introduction of controllable deformations into periodic materials that lead to disclinations in their structure opens novel routes for construction of higher-order topological insulators hosting topological states at *** of these topological states is consistent with the bulk-disclination correspondence principle,and is due to the filling anomaly that results in fractional charges to the boundary unit *** far,topological disclination states were observed only in the linear regime,while the interplay between nonlinearity and topology in the systems with disclinations has been never studied *** report here on the experimental observation of the nonlinear photonic disclination states in waveguide arrays with pentagonal or heptagonal disclination cores inscribed in transparent optical medium using the fs-laser writing *** transition between nontopological and topological phases in such structures is controlled by the Kekulédistortion coefficient r with topological phase hosting simultaneously disclination states at the inner disclination core and spatially separated from them corner-I,corner-II,and extended edge states at the outer edge of the *** show that the robust nonlinear disclination states bifurcate from their linear counterparts and that location of their propagation constants in the gap and,hence,their spatial localization can be controlled by their *** disclination states can be efficiently excited by Gaussian input beams,but only if they are focused into the waveguides belonging to the disclination core,where such topological states *** results open new prospects for investigation of nonlinear effects in topological systems with disclinations and are relevant for different areas of science,including Bose-Einstein and polariton condensates,where potentials with the disclinations can be created.
