A corrosion resistant CuNi cladding was deposited on SM45C (equivalent to AISI1045) substrate by DC inverse arc welding. During the welding process, a three channel acoustic emission (AE) monitoring system was applied to detect the crack signals generating from both the cladding process and after cladding. Characteristics of the welding crack signal and noise signal had been analyzed systematically. Based on the record time of the signal, the solidification crack and delayed crack were distinguished. By two-dimensional AE source location, the crack position was located, and then investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Results showed that the AE system could detect the welding crack with high sensitivity and the two-dimensional source location could accurately determine the crack position. Microstructures of the cladding and heat affected zone (HAZ) were examined. Dendrites in the cladding and coarse grains in the HAZ were found.

The confinement of laser interactions inside transparent materials assisted by tight optical focusing and short-pulsed nonlinear interactions has driven many high-resolution patterning and probing applications in science and *** thin transparent films,laser interactions confined to the film/substrate interface have underpinned blistering and ejection processes for nanofluidic channel fabrication,film patterning and cell ***,we harness femtosecond lasers to drive nonlinear interactions within Fabry–perot interference fringes to define narrow nanolength scale zones for highly resolved internal structuring of a film of refractive index,nfilm,at fringe maxima separated by l/*** novel interaction internally cleaves the film to open subwavelength internal cavities and form thin membranes at single or multiple depths from which follow significant opportunities for writing multilevel nanofluidic channels inside the film,as well as ejecting nanodisks at quantized film depths for coloring and three-dimensional surface patterning that promise new compact types of lab-in-film devices.

目的探讨补体系统相关因子在HIV/AIDS患者中及其与HIV/AIDS湿热内蕴证侯的表达特征。方法共纳入2023年3-5月于广西壮族自治区某地区就诊的HIV/AIDS患者(简称HIV组),其中包括HIV/AIDS湿热内蕴证患者组(简称HIVsr组)与HIV/AIDS无证可辨患者组(简称HIVwz组)及同期在门诊进行体检的健康对照组。收集其基本信息并采集抗凝血液,应用流式细胞术检测T细胞亚群数量,酶联免疫吸附试验检测补体相关因子血浆表达水平,对数据进行统计分析。结果共纳入HIV组45例,其中包括HIVsr组30例与HIVwz组15例,与健康对照组15例。免疫指标对比中,HIVsr组与健康对照组相比TH/TS表达下降(pp2、MBL等12个因子表达均下降(ppp<0.05),多元线性回归分析显示C3aR是量表积分的影响因素。结论补体系统中经典及凝集素通路参与HIV/AIDS患者病理过程,且HIV/AIDS湿热内蕴证患者的证候生物学基础与经典通路相关。C3aR对临床诊断HIV/AIDS湿热内蕴证患者有一定鉴别价值。

Monocarboxylic acid transporter 2 （MCT2） transports pyruvate and lactate outside and inside of sperms, mainly as energy sources and plays roles in the regulation of spermatogenesis. We investigated the association among genetic variations in the MCT2 gene, male infertility and MCT2 expression levels in sperm. The functional and genetic significance of the intron 2 （＋28201A 〉 G, rs10506398） and 3＇ untranslated region （UTR） single nucleotide polymorphism （SNp）（＋2626G 〉 A, rs10506399） of MCT2 variants were investigated. Two MCT2 polymorphisms were associated with male infertility （n = 471, p 〈 0.05）. In particular, the MCT2-3＇ UTR SNp （＋2626 G 〉 A） had a strong association with the oligoasthenoteratozoospermia （OAT） group. The ＋2626GG type had an almost 2.4-fold higher sperm count than that of the ＋2626AA type （＋2626GG; 66 x 106 vs ＋2626AA; 27 x 106, p 〈 0.0001）. The MCT2-3＇ UTR SNp may be important for expression, as it is located at the MCT2 3＇ UTR. The average MCT2 protein amount in sperm of the ＋2626GG type was about two times higher than that of the ＋2626AA type. The results suggest that genetic variation in MCT2 has functional and clinical relevance with male infertility.

Crown Fuel Characteristics and Carbon Emission from Japanese Red pine Stands Burned by Crown Fire in Mt. palgong, South Korea

Carbon emissions from forest fires are considered an important factor of ecosystem carbon balance and global climate change. Carbon emissions from Japanese red pine stands （pinus densiflora S. et Z.） burned by crown fire were estimated at Mt. palgong in Daegu Metropolitan City, and crown fuel characteristics, including crown bulk density, crown base height, and fuel moisture content of Japanese red pine, were analyzed. Total biomass combusted was calculated by subtracting the biomass of burned stands from that of unburned stands exhibiting similar stand structures and site environments. Ten trees in the unburned area and five trees in the burned area were cut by using direct harvesting techniques to estimate crown layer biomass. All biomass sampled was oven-dried and weighed. The dry weight ratios of stems, branches, and needles were 7o%, 21%, and 9%, respectively. The available fuel load susceptible to combustion during the crown fire spread was equivalent to 55% of the crown layer biomass. The crown bulk density was 0.24 kg/m3 on average. The estimated amount of CO2 was 23,454 kg CO2/ha for the crown layer. These results will be useful for calculating the amount of CO2 emitted from forest fires and for developing a forest carbon model in p. densiflora forests.

Background High success rate of intubation and short intubation time have been needed to endoscopists for a complete and comfortable coolonoscopy,if *** purpose of present study was to compare procedure efficiencies according to adult-colonoscope *** This was a prospective,randomized,single-blinded controlled trial.A total of 239 healthy Korean subjects were randomly assigned to two groups：one group receiving intermediate-length adult-colonoscope （n=119）,and the other group receiving long-length adult-colonoscope （n=120）.Cecal intubation time and rate,and terminal ileal intubation time and rate as well as other procedure-related outcomes （adenoma detection rate,withdrawal time,and total procedure time） were *** There were significant differences in cecal intubation time and terminal ileal intubation rate according to colonoscope *** time of cecal intubation was shorter in the intermediate-scope group than that in the long-scope group （（222.13±101.67） s vs.（253.85±109.40） s,p=-0.014）.However,the rate of terminal ileal intubation was higher in the long-scope group than that in the intermediate-scope group （94.2％ vs.83.2％,p=-0.007）.In addition,terminal ileal intubation time was also shorter in the long-scope group than that in the intermediate-scope group （（35.21±38.89） s vs.（44.09±33.87） s,p ＜0.001）.There were no significant differences in other procedure-related outcomes between the two *** The intermediate-length adult-colonoscope had an advantage over the long-length adult-colonoscope regarding cecal intubation time,whereas the long-scope had an advantage over the intermediate-scope regarding the rate and time of terminal ileal *** results suggest that it is rational to prepare and use these two types of colonoscope properly,instead of employing only one type of colonoscope.

Covariant open string field theory on multiple Dp-branes

We study covariant open bosonic string field theories on multiple Dp-branes by using the deformed cubic string field theory, which is equivalent to string field theory in the proper-time gauge. Constructing the Fock space representations of the three-string vertex and the four-string vertex on multiple Dp-branes, we obtain the field theoretical effective action in the zero-slope limit. On multiple D0-branes, the effective action reduces to the Banks-Fishler-Shenker-Susskind （BFSS） matrix model. We also discuss the relation between open string field theory on multiple D-instantons in the zero-slope limit and the Ishibashi-Kawai-Kitazawa-Tsuchiya （IKKT） matrix model. The covariant open string field theory on multiple Dp-branes could be useful to study the non-perturbative properties of quantum field theories in （p＋1）-dimensions in the framework of the string theory. The non-zero-slope corrections may be evaluated systematically by using covariant string field theory.
