A novel sulfate-reducing bacterium,strain J2,was isolated from a serpentinized peridotite sample from the Indian *** analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain J2 clustered with the genus Desulfovibrio within the family Desulfovibrionaceae,but it showed low similarity(87.95%)to the type species Desulfovibrio desulfuricans DSM *** was most closely related to *** MSL79(96.96%),followed by *** Aspo-2(96.11%),*** C1TLV30(96.04%)and *** DSM11384(95.17%).Other available sequences shared less than 93.33%16S rRNA gene sequence *** were Gram-negative,anaerobic,motile vibrios(2-6x0.4-0.6μm).Growth was observed at salinities ranging from 0.2 to 6%(optimum 2.5%),from pH 5 to 8(optimum 6.5-7),and at temperatures between 9 and 40℃(optimum 30-35℃).Strain J2 was piezophilic,growing optimally at 10 MPa(range 0-30 MP a).Strain J2 used lactate,malate,pyruvate,formate and hydrogen as energy ***,thiosulfate,sulfite,fumarate,and nitrate were used as terminal electron *** and pyruvate were *** main fatty acids were iso-C,anteiso-C,summed feature 9(iso-Cω9c and/or C10-methyl)and *** DNA G+C content of strain J2 was 63.5 mol%.The combined genotypic and phenotypic data show that strain J2 represents a novel species of a novel genus in the family Desulfovibrionaceae,for which the name Pseudodesulfovibrio indicus ***.,*** proposed,with the type strain J2(=MCCC 1A01867=DSM 101483).We also propose the reclassification of *** as Pseudodesulfovibrio piezophilus comb,nov.,*** as *** comb,nov.,*** as *** *** *** as *** ***.

Dear Editor,Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)treatment is focused on two *** polychemotherapy,FOLFIRINOX(folinic acid,fluorouracil,irinotecan,oxali-platin),is used in patients with good health conditions[1],while gemcitabine,as monotherapy,in patients with poor health conditions[2–4].Gemcitabine resistance-associated pathways have been targeted to sensitize cancer cells,but the results were *** a transcrip-tomic bioinformatics analysis combined with biological validation,we showed that glucuronidation was associ-ated with the gemcitabine resistance in PDAC,and its inhibition could switch tumors from resistant to sensitive.
